I left school early to work and support my family. Later, I returned to school to apply and was told that my diploma was a fake. I spoke to Mr. ** who recommended me to a school in the city which gave me a no. I paid over $300 for online classes and I want justice.

In 1997, I've moved to Long Island for work. A friend of mine gave me a brochure for Long Island home study. I called them about the GED course. They told me the price, so I sent the money. Now, I'm trying to get to college. They told me this diploma is a fake. I've called the phone number, and no one responded. How can I get my money back?

I learned that the Home Study GED I paid for in 2004 is fake. What do I do now to get my money back? I have to go back to school to get a valid GED.

I received a pamphlet through the mail about getting a GED so I inquired and paid 200.00 for it. I received a package containing a GED study book, I studied at my pace, took the test and received what I believed my GED. I've tried to go to different colleges and I came to find out it's fraudulent. Now I have no GED, no money, can't get college education and I am very upset and want a refund! I have 5 children and stuck in a dead end job because I have no GED.

I purchased the Long Island Home Study Course to get my GED. I studied, took the tests provided, and mailed it back. Mr. ** sent me a certificate that says I have my General High School Education to find out later that it was no good. I want my money back! I was scammed! All that effort for nothing! I will have to get my GED all over again through an accredited school and the time and money I spent to get this one was a total waist of time and money.

As a vocational rehabilitation counselor, I have dealt with numerous individuals who had been scammed by this company and sold what is essentially a worthless certificate which does nothing help them in the job market and certainly does not give them admission to any training program. Several clients have used their government benefits to obtain what is touted as a GED to get a job and off of benefits only to find out they have been scammed.

I registered for the GED Program and received some text books to study at my own pace. When I asked about the type of diploma I would receive once I completed the exams, I was told the diplomas come from the department of education and so I enrolled. This is unbelievable because I just received a letter from my college, Quinsigamond Community college, where I have been studying since fall 2005.
They told me that the diploma which was on file from Long Island Home study is fake! I have tried to contact them until now without success. I feel so ripped off after all those years. I have a signed diploma from Collins himself as the president. I lost my time and money. And now is my only chance to join the nursing program but I have been left out after all those years waiting. Please help me to contact Collins or the New York Attorney General. I have no life! Thanks for your help.
