I received a credit approval notice in the mail with a 6,500.00 limit and I know my credit is not that good and I did not apply for any for that same reason. I searched the Internet for more information aboput this company and thank GOD I found this site before calling that activation number. Thanks to all who shared there experiences! I won't be another victim for them.

I was relieved of 200 dollars thanks to CCA. They withdrew the money from my account without my authorization. They had sent the card and info to my wife in her maiden name and being that she is not the brightest when it comes to scams/finances she bit. She made the mistake of calling to see what it was about being that her credit is low.

They suckered her into giving them the account information and when she realized what there were going to do with it she said no, You cant do that and we actually heard the audio of the conversation saying no. They basically said, too bad, we have the acount info and will use regardless of what you say now. To them it doesnt matter who the account belongs to, as long as they get it.

I received a pre approved letter wanting me to activate my card with them. There was no visa/MC logo on the card which caught my attention and then realized it's for products only through their catalog. There's NO contact numbers other than the one to activate the card which I wasn't about to do. I have had fradulent charges on one of my cards recently and I wasn't about to open this account. My only concern is someone else will activate it. I'm not about to give them any information and I threw the offer away.

I recieved my first national card with a 6500 dollar limit. I called to activate it and the gave me 1100 dollars more for my limit. A few weeks later i recieved my conformation papers and it said i had a trial period and needed to cancel by jan 3. i called jan 3 to cancel and they told me that they could not cancel they have already submitted the payment to be drawn from my account and said that the papers they sent me should have said jan 2.

i argued with them and told them i had the papers right in front of me that said jan 3. they offered me extra credit vouchers of 200 dollars. i told them i did not want them and they told me the only thing they could do then is charge the payment to my merchant card if the bank did not pay (i would have to overdraft my account). So know matter what option i take i have to pay them 200 dollars they only thing i can get changed is the dates.

I received this card with a credit purchase limit at 6,500, and today I called to activate. During the Holiday season I had applied for some credit cards, and I thought this was one of them. I just figured it came a bit late, but I didn't think too much about it because I was so excited that I got so lucky on the credit limit. On the line with the recording, I somehow got approved for now an increased credit limit, 8,600. I didn't wait for the pin number after activation because that was for cash on-demand and I figured I would activate that part later. But I now realized that's where everyone seems to give their bank information, and really get stuck in their web. Thankfully, I skipped that step.

Instead, after activation, I was excited to try to use it, so I went online to see if I could even use the card and where. I found many complaints about this card being a scam and how they get into your bank account when you give them your bank information, and start taking money. At first I was worried they would get into my bank account too, but then I remembered how I already drove my bank account in the hole almost 300, and that the bank locked my account. No more money can come out, so CCS can't even get anything from my account right now. I then remembered that during the activation process, the recording asked if my bank account was in good standing. Knowing that my bank account was already in the hole, I said no, that it wasn't in good standing and it gave me another number to call. I called just to listen to what it said, but didn't follow through with it, and instead called the original number back. This time I said that my bank account was in good standing, and that's when I got my credit increase. I never gave my account information so I'm curious as to why they gave me the increase and I'm interested to see what happens. Being naive and desperate to fix my bank account, I finished the process of activating. And it seems that was probably a mistake. I do not intend to use the card now, but instead to find out how to cancel it before it's too late.

I am worried that when I do fix my bank account that this card company will be able to drive my account back in the hole after I've been doing so much to get myself back on my feet. Does anyone know if they can get my bank information on their own and take money out without my approval, or if there is a way I can stop them even after having already activating the card?
