I have taken Fosamax, actonel, and boniva since the mid nineties. In 1999, I broke the right wrist, multiple toes, later elbow. 2008 my left wrist, 2009 my femur. April, 2009, I refused to take anymore of the so-called bone building drugs. What can the public do to save themselves from unsafe drugs? I am a cripple, due the broken femur I had 2 surgeries in 10 months and still am not healed.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

As of this date, 9-08-09, I still have severe pain in all joints;difficulty walking or moving. Prior to using this medication, I walked 6 miles a day and was very active with no other medication use, except for Nexium. I was not told by my PCP to not use this medication with the Nexium, prior to use. It is awful to have suffered this significant set back in my abilities...It was suppose to have helped, not hindered. The pain remains significant and excruciating.

I took Viox for pain and caused me bruises, itching of the skin, shortness of breath. I took Boniva for osteoporosis and caused me more pain in the joints, and stomach bleeding and polyps in stomach and colon. I had boniva injections, and after fosomax and i have been suffering fron extremely bad ear pain and jaw problems which is very debilitating. it is had to eat, almost impossible to have solid foods. A doctor recommended surgery, but it has complications
no social life. have problems to even talk. Emotional problems.
