Linda of Bayamon P.R. (05/30/05) My damage using bextra was sickness, nauseas, allusination all time, and my vision was affected per a period of time. Decided to not continue to take medication and symptoms disappeared a week or two later. Claudette of Grass Valley CA (11/13/04) I called the pharmacy to see if I could return the drug as I am not going to take it. I paid $54.00 for this prescription and was told they would not refund my money. It is there responsibity to inform the patient of the risks. The pharmacist told me there were tests going on to see if there was an increase in strokes and heart attacks with this drug. I do not feel I should be a guinea pig. Claudette of Grass Valley CA (11/13/04):I was prescribed the drug Bextra by an emergency room physician. I was not warned of the risks of Bextra, which I saw on TV are the same as Vioxx -- possible heart attack and stroke. I would not have filled this prescription had I know the risks and I feel the patient should be made aware of this by the pharmicist.
