Two weeks ago, I bought an RCA LCD TV from Zellers in Toronto. It was the display model. They told me that it comes with the full manufacturing warranty (1 year). They gave me the box, the manual, etc. When I got home, the remote didn't work. I went back to the store and they said that they don't have another remote to give me. They told me to call RCA. I have been given the run around by RCA and was told to call many different numbers. Finally, I was able to speak with Curtis in Canada.

Curtis told me that this model of TV is no longer supported by them. They took over from RCA in Canada and they don't warranty this model. Zellers won't take it back even though it's only two weeks old. RCA says that the model number stamped on the back of it is not correct. Curtis says that they don't support or warranty this model, etc. The TV works but the remote doesn't. This is hard because several of the features on the TV have to be accessed on the remote, meaning, a universal remote won't solve the problem. I have no idea what to do.

I paid $50.00 for a 4-slice toaster. It never darkens the toast even on highest setting, it takes 4 minutes even at that and the toast comes out hard like croutons. I would have returned for refund but I lost the receipt. I won't plan to buy Black and Decker anymore unless I get satisfaction! My friends will also hear of this!

I have used the Bionaire Steam Mop three times and the internal factory sealed heating unit plugged and no steam would come out. Humidity and pressure rises inside the plastic case which can be an electrical hazard. Pressure builds and the internal feed hose blows off with a shotgun blast. This unit was replaced during a three-month waiting period. The subsequent unit failed after two uses and the support would not replace citing out of warranty.

It's a worthless product with inherent manufacturer's defects that should be pulled off the mark.

Unwilling to refund returned merchandise. Purchased PLAYSTATION 3 a week ago at Zellers. Found a better Bundle. A week Later Called Zellers Cornwall and return department confirmed was okay to return, with original receipt, in original packaging, despite being used for one week. Employee confirmed with manager at that time okay. Saturday, 19th February, returned to that store with merchandise to return. Same employee spoke to previous evening recognized the situation, called same manger confirmed with to verify merchandise. Upon verification of everything there, cords etc, still in sealed packages, states that will not accept return as was used. States that is software and therefore return policy does not apply. Would not listen to reason. Would not verify with another store manager, stated end decision. Sorry was not made aware yesterday when you called that was used. This not software. Software is a program. This is an electronic device, like a DVD player, which I should have no problem returning. Assistant manager MIKE, who would not accept this return, was condescending, not helpful and not even willing to get a second opinion or verify his information. This has caused us a great deal of stress. We did our due diligence by calling you to verify, you should to accept the return.
