The nature of my complaint is popularglasses.com lost my Versace prescription glasses and they are not willing to refund me for their carelessness. I shipped my glasses to popularglasses.com on January 4, 2011 for repair of one arm that was broken on my Versace eyeglasses. I received them in about 1 month, upon trying them on the arm fell off, in turn I phoned the company spoke to Marissa, a representative of the company, was informed by her to resend the glasses back and they would refund me $10 to have them reshipped.

I sent the glasses back to them on February 10, 2011,called to check the status, was informed by rep the glasses had not yet been received. I called back a week later and was told the glasses were in the repair shop, 2 weeks afterwards I checked the status and was told the same thing (in repair shop) I called the 1st week in March as was told by Marissa they were waiting on crystals for my glasses, and I told her I didn't need crystals, mine were in tack. I was waiting on the arm to be put back on, he then checked with the repair lab and with her supervisor to locate my glasses, she then sent me a photo of a pair of Versace glasses, asking if they were mine, they weren't.

Marissa called me and said they couldn't find my glasses, and needed to look further and speak to her supervisor; she called about 2 days later and stated the glasses were lost. I gave her the model # (3096B GB1), I asked for the frame to be replaced and prescription, Marissa said the framed was discontinued. I was going to have her order me a pair of Versace from their site, but didn't really see anything I liked, and I think it's imperative to be fitted for the frame.

I paid $206.97 for my Versace frame, plus prescription lens were $115, and $68.99 for repair. I asked to speak to her supervisor, didn't get anything accomplished, asked her for the owner, was asked to call on May 2. Called back for the owner Cory Knight, was told he was on vacation for 2 weeks, called backed asked for Marissa, told her I was trying to contact the owner, she said he was not on vacation, but had an emergency. I am fed up with this company and their poor customer service, I asked for a refund, but they say, we can't refund you any money, you can select a frame from the site, we don't know how much you paid. I told them where they were purchased and offered to give them the companies' phone number and a receipt. I would greatly appreciate if companies like popularglasses.com would be exposed for what they really are crooks! They need to be put out of business.
