Customer service skills are terrible, cashiers in Winona, MS are very rude, not friendly at all and treats customers with no respect. Terrible experience every time I have in the store. Cashiers don’t seem to have care nor concern as to how they speak to customers. I don’t shop in family dollar in Winona, MS unless I have no other choice.

Restrooms were locked. Asked cashier if I needed a key or if someone could be in them. She told me, "You need a key," but manager told her she could not give it out to customers. Asked if she could unlock it for me, she said no. I left without making a purchase.

I wish I did not have to give a review on this store because I live so close and I have always loved going here to this Family Dollar on Freeport Road Butler Pa until this evening. I had to run real quick to this Family Dollar just to grab some baby food, I pulled in 5 minutes before they closed. I know cutting it close. When I walked in, I said I was sorry, I just needed to grab one thing.

I would not even give 1 star but you have to at least give one star. The service is horrible, employees are very rude and do not speak when spoken to. We came to family dollar in Malakoff Texas at 1:45pm on Saturday April 11, 2026. I will not be coming back to this store as this happens often. The 2 ladies are older, one blonde and the other dark hair. Management is just plain horrible.

I just got accused of stealing because I changed my mind. I'm never shopping there again. Ever.

The officials are the ones who make the right decision, but when the official is indifferent, then how can the employees be? They are worse than you can imagine, dealing with arrogance and lying. I am particularly here at one of the branches that is located in the Bronx area, and especially this branch 867 Longwood Ave. The official is a lying and unqualified person. I do not have the name, but I can describe her as a short, ** person.

Our local store has had two coolers out of order for 5 months. They also had a fire 3 months ago, so there's a two foot by 1 foot hole in an exterior wall, never repaired. Store is dark and dingy. Prices on the shelves usually don't match what the register says. A lot of empty shelf spaces. On the plus side, the employees are, for the most part, friendly and helpful. Some of them bring their small children to work with them.

I think I'm finally done with Family Dollar. I am so tired of putting items back on the shelves because they are expired food items. Sometimes I forget to check and bring them home. This is aggravating and food shopping doesn't need to be more unpleasant. Get some help in these stores to prevent these ongoing issues. This occurs much too often at the Sunbury, Pa, store.

Family Dollar Cripple Creek Co. The place is horrible! It reeks of cigarettes due to the employees constantly standing outside smoking. It’s very much unorganized and the employees all wear dirty clothes they call uniforms. They use a store Bluetooth speaker and listen to music so loud you can hear it throughout the store. The managers looks unkept with uncombed long hair and constantly stays outside smoking. It’s ridiculous. It’s a circus at that store. No help and everyone there reeks of **. Unbelievably! I have now switched my to go store up Walmart. Family Dollar in Cripple Creek CO is absolutely a disaster waiting to happen. Especially with the management & employees who work there, it’s a feeling of visiting an inmate in jail, very disgusting feeling.

I went onto FD to purchase milk. I walked up to the register to pay and was never greeted or even spoken to except to tell me my total. Awful. When the machine asked if I was a debit, I simply asked him if I should just hit green button to cancel. He responded with attitude, "well that's what you usually do" with attitude and disgust. I answered him, "That's all I wanted to know." He rolled his eyes and looked away and said with attitude, "have a great day". He didn't mean it. He was ticked off by my question, or simply by my being there to buy milk. I said, "Well I certainly didn't mean to tick you off." He was mad at me. Ugh. He was terrible to me. I don't go into that store that often, and now this will not be somewhere I care to spend any money at again! Ridiculous behavior. Angry attitude the whole time. I don't deserve to be treated that way.

I shop frequently at the Family Dollar in Pineville and I have noticed how diligent and hard working the employees are. I am always greeted and appreciate their willingness to help me. I want to thank the manager, Ms. Trameika keeps that store in tip top shape. The store is neat and clean. No boxes are cluttering the aisles. She runs a tight ship! I am impressed how well Trameika manages the store. She is a great manager!

I will definitely NOT be doing business with Dollar General in the future. If I knew they would NOT honor their competitor's return policy, I would NOT have continued doing business with them. Even though their prices are competitive, you can find better deals elsewhere. Take a look at this website for Dollar General (DG). ** for much better prices and deals at locations close to you. Buyer beware, this company does NOT honor its policy of matching competitors' offers/deals and or practices.

Bro I sent my ex girlfriend to buy a heater. On the box it said 45$. They charged her 48.75. This Family Dollar is the worst Family Dollar I've ever went to. Watch the photo I show of this receipt. I'm writing a complaint. I have to get this store closed down at least by my area. This is crazy. God forbid store thieves see people on the streets aren't the only thieves. Clearly it's not about the money. It's the point that you are workers stealing from people when there's a lot of people that needs jobs that ain't a thief.

As a customer, when you see a store you are shopping in with the customer service so great and the store so clean, and the management and staff so kind and friendly and helpful, you need to let it be known. Went to the Family Dollar on 10818 Cullen Oct 29 around 10 am to get trash bags. As I passed the aisle and looking down the rows I see two employees doing inventory. I turn around and the worker girl abruptly came behind me... Looked at me and said I stole something earlier. I went earlier that day with a friend but I went in and walked out.. Yes I still have the receipt and pictures of the products $50.00 dollar worth. I was then harassed by some guy claiming to be her brother and refused service. I called the police and she insisted I stole something. All I asked is if I stole something what was it and why wasn't I confronted then. I have too many assets to have to steal girl worker.

The store’s Manager and a staff claimed that my girlfriend was rude When she wasn’t. Refused services. Which I think it’s very uncalled for. They also told her that she wasn’t allowed to shop there. She was just asking which rules are still in place! Very unprofessional.

Today was the last day for our store and the staff closed the store at 2pm and said they were boxing up what was left but that’s not true because I saw staff through the window ring up stuff as they went to pick it off the shelves and bag it and put it in a cart. They did this more than once. I don’t think that it was fair to all the customers that they were turning away.

This Family Dollar was very strange. I had the most bad experience ever. All I did was buy my things and left. I spoke no words. They acted like I was in there harassing the customers and like I told the world something bad, anytime?

Today I was in a Family Dollar, and the worker ** Was one of the nicest and politest workers I've ever, I've ever had an encounter with. If it was up to me she would be in three of the year. She works at the store 8708 Family Dollar at 8 Mile and Gratiot. She is one of the nicest workers, I've ever met in a long long time. And I do a lot of, shopping and interacting with other people the sign of stores. But by far she is the nicest and kindest person that I have ever met. And I hope she gets to recognition that she deserves!

This family dollar on colonial heights blv has some shit going on in there not right upon me entering on9/4 the guy at counter nasty I ask him about battery being lock up he told me in nasty way get line I help you if he had behind comer why walk me to case I step away from comer he did something to my battery pack I told I didn’t want it cause they been giving my tickets to outside customers out the back door and ppl was standing around waiting on me to purchase my stuff to get my ticket to take to outside person that was not in the store he turn my item barcode to the camera they give out barcode on tea put stuff on floor turn stuff around ppl in back trying to harm you while u shop the sales guy told me he going knot me out bitch he needs be let go he mad cause he got call out for doing wrong he told me if you know what we doing why keep coming in store I said you don’t tell me we’re go I’m not scared of y’all he threw my money back cause after all he did with battery I didn’t want to spend no money the things that goes on in this place should be look at by law enforcement that’s no on pay role with the outside ppl that sale ppl get pay for and he told me I was band which is find with me the store is hot & dirty stuff mark and laying around this store is danger to ppl health he should be fired you never call customer a bitch especially with the store full of other customers but knot me out would’ve never happened at all stop giving other customers my reco
