Air bags fail to meet federal requirements

| RecallsGeneral Motors is recalling about 1,800 trucks to replace the front passenger air bags. The affected models are:
GM said the second stage of the dual-stage air bag might not inflate in a severe frontal impact. The company will notify owners, and dealers will install a new front passenger air bag free of charge. Owners may contract GMC AT 1-800-462-8782 or Chevrolet AT 1-800-222-1020. | |||||||||||
