Ford Recalls Selected 2010 Ranger Pickups

Fuel line could develop a leak.

Ford is recalling about 24,000 2010 Ford Ranger pickup trucks to fix a fuel line problem.

The company said a fuel line cover may not have been properly installed. Over time, this could cause chafing against the fuel line, possibly resulting in a fuel odor and potential fuel leak, which could cause a fire.

Dealers will inspect the fuel line and, if necessary, replace it free of charge.

Owners may contact Ford at 1-866-436-7332.
