Toyota is recalling about 26,000 2004 Sienna vans to fix a problem with the floor carpet cover.
The company said that if a clip used to secure to carpet cover is missing, the cover could interfere with the operation of the accelerator pedal, possibly causing the pedal to stick.
Dealers will replace the clip and floor carpet cover at no charge.
The action is technically a "safety improvement campaign" rather than a recall, federal safety regulators noted.
