NHTSA is recalling 20,594 Buick Rendezvous, Chevrolet Venture, Pontiac Aztec and Montana, all from the 2002 to 2004 model years because the fuel tank check valve may fracture.
The fracture could allow fuel to accumulate on the side of fuel tank and presents a fire danger, according to NHTSA.
Dealers will replace the fuel tank when the recall begins. Owners may contact Buick at 1-800-608-8080, Chevrolet at 1-800-630-2438 or Pontiac at 1-800-620-7668.
