PhotoGoldCoast Salads, a Naples Florida firm, is voluntarily recalling it's Blue Crab Spread that may be contaminated with Listeria.

The product being recalled is coded EXP 1-31-13.

The following product is being recalled:

  • Blue Crab Spread in containers with a weight of one pound and containers with a weight of 8 ounces.

The product was produced December 3, 2012 and distributed to stores in the North East and South East United States.

Consumers who have purchased the suspect products are urged to refrain from eating them and to return them to the point of purchase.

I just got the recall notice. It's so late. My daughter ate it. She started to have high fever three days ago and went to bath room more than 50 times a day. We saw doctor and gave her some medicine for fever. Still she need to go bath room very frequently. In this morning, she ate it again and had fever immediately in this afternoon. My poor daughter. Called the company, no rely. Worrying. Bless my daughter.

Min my daughter and I ate the whole container the 9th and 10th, the 13th I started getting pretty sick, the 14th I was sick as a dog. I am in touch with a lawyer, want his phine number. here is who it effects the most, old people, young people and people with little or no immune systems.
