Tropical Nut and Fruit Co. of Orlando, FL. is recalling five lots of snack mix "Chia ReCharged Stix Mix” 5-ounce pouches because they may contain undeclared peanuts.
The recalled "Chia ReCharged Stix Mix” 5-ounce pouches were distributed between June 6, 2012, to October 23, 2012, to wholesalers and retail stores nationwide.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
The “Chia ReCharged Stix Mix” 5-ounce stand up resealable plastic pouches contain UPC Code: 0 94184 01014 6
Affected lot numbers are stamped on master case. 12 pouches make up a case and the lot numbers are as follows:
- 052112
- 060512
- 071712
- 080212
- 081612
Affected packages can be identified by the best before date stamped on the back of the pouches above the bar code. These best before date are from 01/20/13 to 04/17/13.
