Equifax in Trouble Again

My credit report includes a bill for medical services that is now in collections. The medical services were provided on a lien basis as part of a worker's comp claim I filed. I disputed this with Experian and was told that because the collection agency verified the accuracy, that they would not remove it from my credit report. I even mailed Experian and the collection agency numerous correspondence, including two letters from my worker's comp attorney, which verifies that the charges were incurred as a result of a worker's comp claim. Experian refuses to remove this from my report.

I went to the Experian web site to apply for my free credit report. In filling out their form I made a typo. When I tried to go back and fix the typo their system knocked me off and said that my one chance for my free credit report was through! This is a bogus company and something should be done about the crooks.

I have started to recieve several mailed items to our home, book blubs and music clubs, that I have not joined. I have recieved a cd in the mail & have been billed for it. to pay for it. No one here has ever ordered or had anything to do with these companies. In the one letter(History club) I was told that from our Experian Consumer credit report information was used to make this offer. I have never had anything to do with Experian and need to stop these mailings and phone calls saying I have signed up for things. The history club had a phone number to call if I wanted to stop transactiions not initiated by us . However they ask for your social security nimber and I diud not give it to them.

For the past two years, I have been unable to get credit because they are reporting me as deceased. They are still showing payments on the credit I have, but I cannot establish new credit. I am told I cannot make a complaint without a credit report, but I do not qualify for a free report. I refuse to pay for one, it's blackmail.

I signed up to get a free credit report from these guys when I was refinancing my home. Before the trial period was up, I went to the site to cancel. Problem was that I could not find a way to cancel. I logged in and went to the section that was to manage my account. When I started looking for how to cancel, I could not find it. Therefore, I thought that the deal must not have not gone through. A few months later, I start getting bills on my statement for "CIC Credit Report". Having no clue what this was, I came here and found lots of other stories. These people need to be reported to the rip-off bureau.
