Huskiesareus

Livingston, KY

Tammy of Marysville OH (12/31/03):
I purchased my puppy back in February of 2003 from Huskiesareus under the impression that the puppy would be healthy & I would be able to show and breed her. I even had a stud lined up for her once she was of proper age. I had started her in classes to get her ready to show.

On November 22, 2003 she was diagnosed with Juvenile Cataracts. My sister-in-law purchased a puppy out of the same litter and her female puppy has been diagnosed with Juvenile Cataracts also. I am not so much upset about not being able to show or breed her, but I am very upset at the fact that she is only 11 months old and will have this condition for the rest of her life.

It will cost me between $2000.00 to $2200.00 to get the cataracts corrected. I now am going to get her fixed because I cant use her for breeding and that will cost me $250.00.

Carol of Guilford VT writes (1/16/03):
I drove from VT. to KY. in Dec. to pick up a Siberian Husky pup that I had picked out. When I arrived Debbie Davis told me she accidentally gave my pup to someone else. She would not call these people because she said that she didn't think they would drive all the way back with my pup. She said that her and her husband figure that one pup was about the same as the other so it shouldn't make any difference as to which one I took.

I told her we would wait for her to contact the people but she wouldn't. I don't know what really happened to the pup I was supposed to get.

She also said she gave them my AKC reg. with my name on it and that she would have them send it back and forward it on to me if I chose to take a different pup. Being in shock and no way to do anything I took a different pup. Before I left she gave the pup a shot herself. After returning home I e-mailed her and said I didn't have the shot record or written health guarrantee and asked her to send them to me. She said I forgot the shot record, although I never saw one or was told that one even existed while at her house.

I have not received anything from her yet so I sent in a complaint to the BBB in Ky. I cannot believe that she could do such things and it not bother her at all and I have not heard anything from her. I did get the AKC reg. form but nothing else.

I was so depressed after we left her house. I could not understand how she could let me drive all the way to Ky. and then tell me that story , not give me the pup I had been looking forward to and not give me a shot record or health guarrantee and she still hasn't sent the papers yet.

Carol doesn't say how her pup is doing. If it's healthy and happy, perhaps all is well.
