Paige of Morristown writes:

I bought a puppy at Carousel Pets on 1/20/00. I was assured this was a healthy puppy and it had all of its shots, including a parvo shot. I took the puppy home and he was extremely ill.

On 1/22/00 I took the puppy to the vet and it was tested positive for the Parvo virus. On 1/23/00 the puppy died at the vets office.

I informed the pet store what had happened and they were extremely rude. I only want to be compensated for the price of the puppy and the vet bill. Also, since this virus is so contagious in puppies I am sure that the puppies in this pet store are also infected with the virus. They should not be allowed to sell these puppies to the public.

Losses: $449.00 for puppy, $11.99for a bag of food they made me buy, $245.00 for the vet bill.

I felt horrible that the puppy suffered this pain and felt helpless in not being able to save it.
