Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I had written a complaint about Web Savers that took my money out of my account without being informed. I didn't realize that it was happening to everybody. I had gone to my bank and was refunded my money back that these non-English talking took out of my account. And I closed it and they are not getting anything else from me. You're not really getting a loan because they are getting their money without consent on top of when you need to pay the loan off that you so called got. We Americans are so very stupid and feel for all that got scammed. You all need to close your accounts and never go through any payday loan sights. I'm very sorry for all.

They debited my account $29.95 that gave me overdraft fees. I called them, they said they would take care of it. The next day, they debited it again with another overdraft charge and then they so-called putting it back. So they really never put the money back.

There was 29.98 taken from the account at us bank without my permission. Please refund the 29.98 back into the account and close this account that she has with this company. Thank you.

I got charged $29.89 on my account; I was trying to get a loan and didn't sign up for their services yet they still took it out and all my fees my bank is charging me **. I don't have this kind of money; I will never go online again to try to find a loan; it most likely would happen again. How can they get away with this? It's so wrong to do this to people who really don't have the money. I hope I can get it back but am not counting on it.

I was charged $29.00 for applying for a loan. I was told that this was an added bonus. I'm on a fixed income SSI disability and do not understand how I was charged for applying for a loan.

I filled out a couple of online applications for a Payday loan. I checked my account the next day and there is a charge from Web Savers for $29.98 deducted from account. I spoke with a rep who could barely speak English. After numerous attempts of trying to explain to me how she got my info, I told I didn't care and that I wanted the manager.

She put Mario on the phone who kept telling me that they can't refund my money, but they can cancel the membership. I told him that he better cancel it because I never authorized it. He kept apologizing and telling me that I cant get my money back. I asked for his boss and he told me that his boss does not take phone calls. I got my cancellation number from him and told him that I will see him in court. Now I have to go through the aggravation of filing a fraud dispute with my bank.

This company is full of non-English speaking thieves that take pleasure out taking peoples money. I have an emergency to rent a car and go pick up my two babies from VA. I had every penny accounted for, and now I am not sure if I can go get them. I am a single mother of five kids. I cannot afford to have unnecessary money taken out of my account.

I talked to Monica **. She said that my account would be taken care of. Yes, she did continue on about what they had to offer. I explained to her that I was a telemarketer before and that when someone says "no" they mean "no." I told her that it isn't right to take advantage of the information provided and that I never received anything stating that any funds would be taken out of my checking account, which was in the amount of $29.98 had been taken out of it. I also informed her that I am not the only one this has happened to and it isn't right. It made my account go under even more, which put it into a negative. I'm hoping all will be resolved. I also notified my bank as well. Unauthorized $29.98 was taken out of my account.

I checked my bank account and saw $29.98 was done by electronic check. I have never heard of this company. So I googled and found a phone number, and I contacted someone whom I could very understand. I asked to cancel and refund my money. But she said they could not do that and kept trying to offer me specials. I refused and asked to speak with a manager. Then I was informed no one could help me. So I will stop by my bank and do an unauthorized draft and will dispute with this company.

I applied for a loaned and refused it and got 29.98 taken out of my bank account. It almost over drafted me but my family covered it to avoid that.

Apparently, I applied for a payday loan and this company took $29.98 out of my account unauthorized. This sent our account negative resulting in at least two bounced checks and two nsf fees.

I applied for a loan only. This Web Savers Club took $29.98 out of my account without my knowledge and without my permission. I don't have that kind of money even though it was only $29.98. I feel violated by these people. I really did not appreciate the scheming method they used on me. Please help me. It caused my bank account to go into over draft. Now I have to pay the bank $55.00 for something some cheating company stole from me. I don't have that kind of money to throw away. It may be little to some people but it is a lot to me because I don't have any money for somebody to steal from me without my permission. I was very upset. I have had a headache ever since talking to these lying, cheating thieves. I really need my money back. I really do. They need to be held accountable for their actions. Please make them give me my money back from these crooks.

I applied for a Pay Day Loan with First Bank of Delaware, which I declined. I also remember clicking "I do not agree to this offer" when this Web Savers thing came on the screen. It has come to my attention that they then took $29.98 from my checking account and stamping First Bank of Delaware on the back. First Bank of Delaware has nothing to do with this and is upset that they are using their name. I called customer service and got an answering machine. I will close my accounts.

Web Saver stole $29.98 out of my checking account and caused my account to go into the negative. I never authorized their service. I was looking for a payday loan and filled out a few application and this is what happened. Buyer beware. Even if you select no, that you do not want the Web Saver membership, they will still access your account and not refund your money! This little $29.98 caused my account to go into the negative and now it's $34 fine per transaction. So I had six transaction posted right after this and now I'm going to owe my bank $204 in fines because I don't have any money to cover this freaking debt.

I applied for a loan. When I signed the documents, they asked me if I wanted to sign up for this Web Savers. I said no. A day later I check my checking account and there is a debt for $29.98. I called them to find out who they were first and then I explained that I didn't want this. He said he would cancel and gave me a confirmation number and I then asked him if I could get that refund.

He says, "No ma'am, in the terms and agreements section, it clearly states no refund." I then proceeded to get frustrated I said very loudly, "but I didn't sign up for this damn **!" I told them, "No, so how can you charge me?!" I insisted on talking to a manager waited on hold for a long time. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

I applied for some payday loans to help before our paycheck went through. I decided not to take the payday loans. I checked my bank today and saw a charge for $29.98. I called the 877 number and spoke with a rep Tina. She told me it is non refundable. I asked for her supervisor. She came back on the phone and told me he was busy. I said, "That's okay. I will wait," and he is not. After I said that, she put me back on hold and 2 seconds later he was on the phone. After speaking with him, he gave me a fax number to fax a copy of my electronic check. He said to put down my complaints and concerns on a fax cover sheet to them. It is a number to their corporate office that does the refunds.

And once I fax that to them, it will take 8-10 business days for my refund and to cancel my account. I told them I didn't authorize for them to take anything and I saw other complaints and this and that. I did ask for a number for the office and apparently there is none. When I asked how they communicate with them, he said via email. I was done at that because I got the info that I need. But I suggest to keep an eye on your bank account at all times!

Me and my wife applied for a loan because were hurting for money. And I get my paycheck and there is a fee for 29.98 and the bank charged me an over draft fee. So now, I had a big chunk come out of my account when we don't have the money in the first place.

I asked for a refund and they said they will give me a gas voucher, but I don't drive. i want my 29.98 back in my checking account. I already filed a dispute at my bank on web savers for stealing money out of my account and my bank said they forge a check in to my account. It made my account to go under.

Be very care when purchasing something online where you have to give your banking information. Recently, I applied for a payday loan, and found out later that there was a charge of $29.98 taken out of my checking account from a company called Web Savers. I did not authorize this transaction. What a joke. My account went into overdraft status, and I have to pay overdraft fees. I contacted the bank to stop payment. These types of scams should be stopped, because business will not have customers purchase their products unless it is disclosed in big letters, and not hidden in the terms and conditions sections written in small print. The excuse that they give you to read the fine, fine print is BS.

I got a payday loan over the internet and somehow or another, this company got all of my personal information. I did not know this until I went to the bank and found out that $29.88 was taken out of my account. The bank gave me the telephone number for this company and I called them. I was told that the money was non-refundable. I told them that I did not sign up for the service and I would like a refund. The company still said, "No refunds".

My grandson was on my computer. He is 11 years old. The next thing I know on 04/22/10 there was a charge on my debit card of $34.95.This charge caused my checking account to be in the negative so a charge of $35 was added. When I called them, they agreed to refund $34.95 within 15 business days. Today is day 19 and when I called, I was told refund still has not been issued! I wish there was something I could do!

They called me talking about taking their survey for $1. Come to find out, they have charged my debit card for another $29.98 without my authorization. I explained myself on the phone that I didn't want no more than that dollar coming from my card. They are always saying this is recording but they won't go back to play. It should be on file. Just like that other woman who they took $29.98 out of her account causing her to have an overdraft for something she didn't agree too. They would not return my money that they took but tried to offer me a gas voucher for $100. I told them no! I just want my $29.98 back that they all stole. I went on to tell the lady that I didn't pay for no gas voucher. I just want you all to put my money back. How I found out is that I got ready to pay my gas bill over the phone and they told me I had insufficient funds and the woman at the bank gave me the phone # also. Do not conduct any business with this company! It's all a big scam. Take it from someone that knows!

What happened is this WebSavers Club robs people. They took money from my checking account in the amount of $29.98 plus an over draft fee of $35.00. Due to this, my car payment was returned in the amount $500.00. I'm the kind of person that will drive to the company's office and get my money. Don't ever do any business with this so-called con of a company.

I applied for a payday loan on the web several days ago. Today I checked my bank statement and noticed a charge I did not recognize. The bank gave me the phone number to call. The lady on the phone said they were Saver's Club and that I had signed up as part of my loan request. I never sign up for additional services and am very careful about reading the terms. They refused to refund my $29.98 they stole and offered me a coupon for gas. They said they did not know the name of the payday loan company. How is that possible when they had all my information including my bank account to take money out of? This scam cost me NSF fees at my bank and a bill not paid due to lack of funds. I am reporting the company to the Better Business Bureau. I wish I could sue them, but I can't afford it.

I was applying for a loan and they are telling me that their offer was part of the loan agreement but they don't know what loan that I sign up for. Usually, when you are applying for a loan, there are offers that are offered to you and you have to click on them to authorize them to take monies out of your account. I did not sign up for there services I only applied for the loan. They have taken money out of my account and cancelled the membership that I did not sign up for and did not give me a cancellation account number and will not refund the monies that they took out of my account and my bank is charging me for insufficient funds on my account.

I applied for a loan online. Web Savers Club took my information and automatically signed me up. I did not authorize them to go into my bank account, which is in overdraft. Web Savers Club is refusing to take care of my overdraft fees. I've had surgery on my back and had to quit my job. I'm fighting for my disability. I don't have any income, and I cannot afford these fees.

This company submitted an unauthorized debit of $19.95 to my checking account. I never authorized this payment. I talked to them and they refused to reverse the charge. They said that they would send me a refund check in five to fifteen days. That will cost me extended overdraft fees. They caused my checking account to be overdrawn. It will probably cost me $35.00 worth of overdraft fees and another extended overdraft fees.
