Negative Option: When No Means Yes

VistaPrint's business cards are fine but from what we hear, VistaPrint has a nasty habit of herding their customers into MWI's fleecing arena. The company says it's just not so.

Joyce of Methuen MA (11/03/08)
I just realized that they have been charging my credit card since July 07 I had placed a business card order with Vista Printing. I thought my husband was purchasing games on line because the payee was Passport to Fun for 17.95 a month. I just called and they cancelled my subscription anf rebated me for Nov 08 month. How can they slime their way into peoples accounts are these scams. There should be a class action suit against them.

As other filers above, by some means I was supposed to have signed for two subscription services removing some 19 every month. A complaint e-mailed every day since Oct 14th to Nov 1 2008 was ignored. The credit card company was no help at all (Beneficial Bank).

So far 29.85 has disappeared from my account

I purchase some business care for my husband on my dad's debit account pay for the shipping after that vistaprint start billing his account for 4.99 every month for six month we had to have the account change i consider us lucky

Discovered charges of 14.95 on my credit card. Apparently, just ordering discount business cards might lock you in. I certainly didn't agree to be part of a 14.95 per monthly fee to do anything. I believe their practices to be very deceptive and borders on stealing. They did agree to refund me on months payment.

149.50 taken out of my credit card.

well i was attracted by the cheap prices of vistaprint. That free business cards were shipped at a higher cost than the real shipping costs is still an acceptable marketing trick. So after some time i decided to enroll in their reseller program, and paid the fifty dollar they charged. Then i started to resell; but none of the orders was executed correctly. None of my clients got what i really ordered for them. It was always less or even nothing at all. Whenever I complained i always got a friendly person that always tracked my ordered and confirmed a mistake had been made and promised to fix that but even then my clients got nothing

Since orders are small, i maybe lost about 100 usd and of course i lost a bit of my reputation I simply stopped using vista print. I long time considered this as bad organisation; but then if you read in the financial news that the ceo of vistaprint tricked his own brother where he was printing his cards; i m more and more convinced that it is yet another example of greed. i don t need vistaprint but still they send me tons of mail i wouldn t call that direct marketing but spam

i put orders for reselling got billed but my clients didn t get the products. It s about 100 usd of direct damages in payments done, luckily i did not loose clients but i had a lot of extra work to keep them. it s ok if an attorney contacts me
