Negative Option: When No Means Yes

VistaPrint's business cards are fine but from what we hear, VistaPrint has a nasty habit of herding their customers into MWI's fleecing arena. The company says it's just not so.

I started seeing charges of 14.95 a month on our bank statement. I called them to ask what it was and they said they would refund the charges. They said that I signed up somewhere for a membership when I was offered a 10.00 coupon with my order of T-shirts. Very disappointing. I will NEVER order from them again. BEWARE. This is a scam.

So far I have charges of almost 30.00 that need to be refunded to me.

I have been using there business card service for several years with no problems, and then suddenly realized there was a continuing 14.95 charge being added to my CC bill for a 'VISTAPRINTRWRDS'. I notified my bank immediately and will also never use Vista Prints again. I had a similar problem with getting unauthorized 'NetFlix' charges removed from my AmEx card, and those charges were less than 5.00 a month.

So far the issue is still under dispute, and amounts to less than 100.00, but it's the principle of the thing. They had been a great company to do business with.

I ordered free business cards 9 months ago. In the process of activating a new credit card on an existing account, the gegntlemen I was speaking with simply wanted to confirm a few transactions on my card - 14.95 every single month for the last 9 months! The transaction showed on my statement as AP9*BUSINESSMAX. Stupid me for not questioning it earlier! Anyway, the guy transferred me directly to the Fraud department of Chase, who my card is through. The woman I was transferred to said Ah, yes...VistaPrint. I will cancel your account with them for you now and transfer you drirectly to them.

Right away I though this is going to be a nightmare. Once i got the person at VistaPrint, which only took a few seconds actually, they said that they saw my card company cancelled the membership. I said I wanted a full refund. THe woman (Carla - ID 22728) said please hold, then came back and said it was done and it should show on my card in 1-2 business days. 14.95 x 9! Let's see if the credit shows! I'll let you know. VistaPrint - DON'T USE THEM!

I placed a order with them they took the money from my card then I notice they are taking 14.95 out every month. I call them on Nov 1 08. the lady said they will refund the money it will be in my account in 2 day. it is now Nov 8 08 and there is nothing there. I called my bank they gave me a new card and now I have to file a dispute that can take 45 days.

this is not fair they should not go into accounts and get away with i.t I as well as many have children and need every penny we have and to have to wait 45 days after they said they will put it back is wrong! vista print taking money that don't belong to them. they need to stop sending me emails asking me to buy from them. NOT going to happen

Joshua of Willcox AZ (11/07/08)
I purchased some office supplies from Vista Print which I paid for using my debit card. The funds were received by vista print and I received the products I ordered. Now I keep seeing a 15.00 charge every month and can't get in touch with anyone at the company to tell them to stop stealing my money.

I am out 30.00 so far and am going to seek attorney fees if it is not corrected
