Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I placed an order on 10/14/11 that was supposed to ship right away. I called on 10/19/11 and was told that it didn't ship yet, so I told Amy to cancel it. She said she would. Product shipped anyway. I refused it, and then didn't receive a credit. Many phone calls and 3 months later, I finally get a credit for $98 and change. I was charged $161.99. Amy says it was for a "refusal fee". Unbelievable. I will never buy from this company again! I see there are similar complaints about this company on the web, too! Apparently, it's standard practice by these people! I'm still working on getting my full credit.

I ordered from Sears online a Christmas gift on Dec.17th. Wanting to be sure of receiving gift before Christmas, I spoke with a salesperson. He did order on phone for me. He assured me I would receive it at least on Dec.24th or 25th, if not before. I never received an email on my order, so I called on Dec.19th. They gave me number to call unbeatable sales, so I did. She told me she couldn't help what Sears promised. They couldn't promise anything after the 15th. But it took me until today (Dec. 21st) to ever get an email from UPS stating it was in transit. That's 5 days after my order. It's unacceptable! Now to make matters worse, I will not receive my daughter-in-law's gift until Dec.28th!

I, Juana **, ordered a sofa on Nov. 2, 2011 and canceled it on Nov. 4, 2011. I have not gotten credit back on my Sears card yet. I called both Sears and Unbeatable Sale several times. All they tell me is that they need to check with the delivery department and they would get back with me. I also called Sears and they keep telling me to call Unbeatable Sales. This has been going on for two months. I need some help getting this resolved. Can you help me?

I ordered the item with plenty of time for shipping and processing. They shipped in several days later and then with an incorrectly filled out UPS shipping label. The item did not arrive in time and they refused an RMA and also refused a refund. The customer service rep was completely unsympathetic and unapologetic. Never again! Buyer beware!

I cannot remove the blade from PS 77711 Slicer. I must need a tool of some kind, which was not included with my slicer. Please help. The only way to clean the blade is to remove it.

I ordered a case of coffee which, I was told by a sales rep, would cost $17.95. I asked if he was positive of the price, and he said, "Absolutely, we deal in overstocks, blah...blah...". Bottom line, I got one can of coffee for $27.00 (after shipping), for something which in my local store costs $8.00. These crooks should be in jail!

Beware, don't buy from them. NO CANCELLATION POLICY+ 25% Restock fee (Just check their site policy). You are forced to buy it. Shady website that tried to scam with bait and switch. Horrible customer services who yell at you, and refuse to even cooperate. I purchased a table from unbeatablesale.com at the advertising price of $150. The order total price at check out was $150 (including shipping price), but after I submit the order, the charge to my paypal account become $200. That was not the price I was informed when purchasing the item. I immediately contacted unbeatablesale.com right after the order through the provided email contact for customer service at Service@Unbeatablesale.Com hoping to have the error corrected or the sale order cancel.

The request did not receive any response from unbeatablesale.com. I followed up with phone calls the next day to customer service department. The customer service representative refused to correct the price error, but I was assured that the order is cancelled. However, I later received an email notification of the shipment of the item despite my attempt to cancel it. I immediately tried to contact customer service for two more times to have this error corrected. However, my request was not addressed, all I was told is this request will be forward to another department. Now I am forced to receive the item without the full refund because unbeatablesale.com has been less than honest in its business practice and refused to acknowledge an error on its part. The unreasonable policies on unbeatablesale.com also stated that I will be charge with 25% restocking fee and shipping cost of the item for order cancellation.

Together, these fee would account for almost 50% of the price of the item. I find it is unreasonable that I should be charged with these fee as a result of an error on the part of unbeatablesale.com that it refuses to address properly despite my numerous attempt to inform the company the problem with the order and resolving it in a reasonable manner. In total, I call them 5 times and nothing has changed, even after speaking to management level. Their reasoning was I should had pay attention, it's my fault for not reading through all of their policies pages and the fine print!!!! Refuse to acknowledge the price error (claim that it was never that price on their site, even though I took a screen shot for them + Google cache of their website has it at that price+ Amazon price is $50 lower, but they still say that's an impossible price). Basically they force you to buy their item. Even use shady tactics if you try to price match, they gonna claim little details like Amazon's title is different, the picture is from a different angle=> not the same product (even though Amazon list the exact same model number). If you buy from them, prepare to call you bank to deal with the mess. "

I purchased four containers of Quiko Lori Food. Their advertisement online did not indicate the size of the container, so I had to assume that based on their price being slightly less than another companies for the 26 oz. container, that was the size I was purchasing. I received the order today and upon examination, I discovered that they shipped four 12.7 oz. containers. I contacted the company and after talking to a service rep and her supervisor, the best they could offer me was to lower the cost to $72 and still bill me for the shipping. The online price today for the 12.7 oz. containers can be found for $16 and with shipping being free would total $62 (Petco online). Having paid $111.35, I was more than unhappy. This practice of not properly identifying the product, and likewise not keeping with their advertised " Guaranteed Unbeatable" price is misleading and predatory.

I purchased Futon online from Unbeatablesales.com, in June of 2010. It was delivered without the legs, mounting hardware, or instructions (template).

No mounting point was discernible on bottom of Futon. Later, the legs and screws were delivered, however, the screws were incorrect. After months of correspondence (written, e-mail, and phone) the situation still remains the same; incorrect screws, no visible mounting area and no template or instructions. It has been 5 months since purchase and I have not been able to use the Futon. Unbeatablesales refuses to do anything to rectify the matter.

Loss of approximately $600.00 for Futon. Have sent numerous photos of couch in every conceiveable angle to show the problem. Have spent many aggravating hours in e-mail exchanges with Unbeatablesales to no avail.

I purchased a futon from unbeatablesales.com via the internet and it was delivered on July 22, 2010. The futon was incorrect in color, yellow instead of almond as depicted on the internet, and was sent with no legs. After talking with Beverly of UBS on July 23, 2010, she said this was the correct item per part number and that the legs will be shipped from the warehouse later.

The legs were shipped, but with no attaching hardware (bolts), and I then discovered that the futon had no provisions for leg attachment (mfg. pre-drilled holes). This situation along with the color not being as advertised was to me unacceptable. I communicated this to Shari of UBS via e-mail, sending her the photo as advertised on the net. She advised me to send pictures of the couch to her.

I have the pictures in detail, and requested from Shari an address via telephone and twice through e-mail to send them to, but received no response. On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, I called UBS again and got an address from Lisa. Today August 5, 2010, I received an e-mail from Bev stating that I had refused to send the pictures, and since so much time had passed, the request for refund or exchange probably would not be honored.

1 "ore International 4 Tier Bookselves - cherry" ordered and charged to credit card on March 31,2010. Was given a tracking # but item failed to arrive as promised.
E-mailed on April 19,2010 and was told it was backordered til may 28th and a tracking # should not have been given.
Contacted by phone 6/2/10 and was told that it was still backordered until the end of June and that I would be contacted when it came in. I told them I would give them one more month and then may cancel the order if they can't produce it.

Reading other customer complaints, this sounds like it happens more often than not. Please investigate.

I ordered from Amazon.com the following: 1 MALB852 Kingston Value RAM 2GB Kit (2x1 GB Modules) 333 MHzDDR CL2.5 DIMM Desktop Memory KVR333X64C25K2/2G for $62.32 with a grand total of $68.53. It was billed to my credit card. I received 1 stick of memory, but had ordered a kit of 2 sticks. I gave the one stick to my son (birthday present) and contacted UnbeatableSale.com regarding the shortage in the shipment. The statement that this item on the website corresponds to the item I received is not true. I have retained a copy of the original website listing. I asked for them to send me a second stick of the same that they had sent me. Evidently, this company uses this practice consistently. I have found several other stories from people that have had very similar circumstances involving their purchases from UnbeatableSale.com. I have all documents and correspondence related to this incident.

I ordered an espresso maker. The cost was $43.00 + $28.00 for shipping and handling. According to them, it was because the espresso maker weighs 30 pounds. When ordering, I was told that the item was on back order. About 5 days later, I received a package with a coffee maker for American coffee, not an espresso maker. I was charged a total of almost $80.00 for an item that weighs 4 pounds and it sells in other stores for way less. It's not an unbeatable price like they advertise. I called and told them the problem. I dropped it off at a UPS location as instructed. Few days later, the package came back to me!

Lauren from Unbeatables stated that probably the shipping label came off. I actually attached the shipping label with wide scotch tape. Then, it was the issue of having the package picked up by UPS since I had already dropped it off once. Lauren assured me that my credit would be given immediately after UPS picked up the package. It is already in the system as being returned to them. I see no credit on my account as of yet.

I ordered the WowWee Robosapien w/ remote control on Dec. 5th, & delivery was Dec, 11 thru Dec. 16. I have not received this Christmas present yet, & I've read the reviews on this company & they are terrible. I'm shocked that amazon would be affiliated with this company. I Want my product NOW

I found an ad on Amazon for a Lucianna 5-pc. Dinette Set for $149.99 I purchased it and received the table, took it out of the two boxes and assembled it, putting the boxes out for recycling. No chairs showed up. When I called to inquire they would not talk with me, but did send an email stating that the price was wrong as a result of a mistake by Amazon. I could, Toniann said, purchase the chairs at a discount or return the table in the original boxes for a refund. This was later repeated by Heather. To me, this appears to be a good example of Bait and Switch and of deceptive advertising. Amazon stated that they simply publish the information that they receive from the advertising companies. Unbeatable refuses to take responsibility for their mistake but even includes the description of my order in their emails to me that state, "Lucianna 5-pc. Dinette Set." A table does not constitute a 5-pc. set!!

I placed an order through the Amazon website from the merchant above for a bottle of cologne, Love & Luck 3.4oz. I initially contacted the merchant to change the ship to address. During that conversation, I discovered the cologne was not the advertised 3.4 oz but according to the representative, it was .25 oz. The customer service representative at unbeatablesale stated that she apologized for Amazon incorrectly advertising the item. Amazon stated that they advertised what was sent to them by the merchant and that the merchant can change whatever they want.

I got the run around about the product. It is against the law to misrepresent an item for sale to a consumer. Unbeatablesale wants me to take their product at .25 oz for the same price that they advertised the 3.4 oz or to leave it. This is wrong. They should provide and represent the service they advertised on the website. I have screen shots and email confirmation of the order. This practice is not acceptable and unbeatablesale at this time still has not taken the opportunity to change that item and Amazon pointed this out as well.

I want what I purchased from the advertisement online, a 3.4 oz bottle of Love & Luck perfume (100% authentic) or they can shop for the replacement of that same item advertised and send it to me. It is not my responsibility as the consumer to ensure that prices, items or pictures are reflected correctly.

I was looking around the Internet trying to find some Honor Roll Stickers for my students and found the type I wanted at about a dozen different websites. The price for the pack of 32 stickers averaged between $3.59-$3.99 per pack. Then I came across unbeatablesale.com and they were offering the exact same item on sale for $15.11 per pack! I called them to confirm the price and spoke to Mary Ann at ext. 231. She was rude and abrupt with me when I was asking about this item. She could not explain why they were charging so much!

I then called the company who makes this product (Trend Enterprises) and they were appalled at how much unbeatablesale.com was charging. They did some research with me on the phone and found that unbeatablesale.com carries many items by trend enterprises, all of which were marked up 3-4 times the price of their competitors. Please investigate unbeatablesale as they are obviously gouging the public. Thank you.

I ordered a bicycle for my grandson from Unbeatable Sales and after reading NOW the comments, I am dreading what will happen next. The bike was damaged when it arrived but by grandson and his dad did not realize it until they put the bike together and there were problems with the gear train, etc. They had it looked at by a veteran bicyclist, and all he could determine was that it may have been damaged in shipping.

What makes me suspicious is that the bike I originally ordered was then unavailable and I ended up ordering a more expensive model.

Aaargh. I won't be ordering anythin online for a long, long time.

I don't know, but it sounds like I could be out quite a bit. I will come back and add information when I know for sure.

i ordered a shark steam mop from them through amazon. when i tried to use it, it was broken and did not work. i got an ra number from them, and returned it via ups with insurance, in the original packaging, with all packing materials included. they charged me 79.99 for the mop, and 14.09 for shipping. i paid ups 10.64 to return the mop.

now they have only refunded me 60.00 because they claim not to refund original shipping costs, charge a 25% re-stocking fee for items returned after 30 days, and do not refund other shipping fees. i think the re-stocking fee is unreasonable b/c the mop was broken, and i should be refunded the return shipping costs because it was not my fault i had to return it.

i have lost 44.00 due to this.
