Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I ordered ugg boots for $89.99 from uggfamily.com. I paid through PayPal. After the transaction was complete, I realized I had sent my monies to china. I had an interpreter tell me the Chinese letters on PayPal said I sent it to a one Weng **. i found out through the official ugg austraila site that uggfamily.com is know as fraudulent so I contacted PayPal and also sent email to uggfamily.com. I had to send several emails but eventually after threatening to turn them into the feds, they refunded my money to PayPal.

I ordered a pair of Ugg boots from this website. I then read something that any website that uses ugg in their name does not sell authentic Ugg Australia boots.

I contacted Ugg Australia and they said it appeared that uggfamily.com was not one of their licensed sellers. I tried to cancel the order but in the meantime, I received an email message from someone named James and he said the boots had been shipped and he gave me a tracking number.

I then contacted uggfamily.com via their online customer service and through a series of questions, they said that they did not manufacture their boots for the Decker Outdoor Manufacturing Company (the co. that makes the authentic Ugg Australia boots).

I contacted my credit card company to file a dispute and they said to accept the boots and return them using a traceable means (tracking number).

I received the boots and they are definitely NOT UGG Australia boots. The lining is synthetic instead of the wool it is supposed to be. They also have a strong chemical odor. I have a pair of authentic Ugg Australia boots and these are definitely not authentic.

I have emailed the company repeatedly and they do not respond.I have tried to contact them via their online customer service and they don't respond there either.

I am going to take a chance and send the boots back to the address that is listed on the EMS mailing form.

I was charged $120 for the boots. Thankfully, I put the charge on my credit card so I am able to dispute it.

Dec 10, 08 ordered Boots for a Christmas gift, tracking # was not valid, could not reach anyone by phone. Finally James answere my e-mail, boots were in root from China on Dec 26, 08, arrived Dec 30, I ordered Womens size 9, received size 5. There was no invoice in the box. Have no idea where to return or how to get my money back. Paid paypal $120.00 on Dec 11. I have a receipt for that. As of today, I'm still trying to get in touch with someone. I am now in doubt that they are authentic UGGS, since they were shipped from China. Any help will be appreciated.

My daughter placed an order, with my permission, for boots on the website with debit card payment which went to a paypal account. The boots never arrived. They sent tracking information which was bogus and provided no phone number. The website is no longer available!

I had to find another website that had the boots and pay for them (again). Fortunately, we were able to find them at this time of year!!
