Mercenary Miniatures

Travis of Bendifo, Victoria, Australia (10/15/03):
After looking at http://www.mercminis.com and communicating with Robert via email I placed an order on June 19 2003. The order came to US$137.00. I sent payment via paypal (www.paypal.com) and it was confirmed that the money had arrived. I was sent an email on June 28 2003 to say the order would be ready in a few days. I inquired via email on July 15 to see how the order was going and received an email back to say their had been losses in their families which had slowed down orders but they would arrive shortly. Since then I have tried to contact the Company via email but no emails are returned.

Here is a direct quote from their webpage: "AFTER A LONG SUMMER THAT FLOODED US WITH HUGE ORDERS, AND MANY CHALLANGES, WE ARE NOW VERY WELL STOCKED AND STAFFED, READY TO MEET YOUR GAMING NEEDS! QUICK SHIPPING GAURANTEED OR YOUR MONEY BACK!"

I have not received any correspondence from the company nor have I received the goods I ordered. I have also lost $137 in the process. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Travis should immediately complaint to PayPal and, if he used a credit card, to his credit card company. In the future, he should be much quicker to complain. It is illegal for companies to take money without shipping the merchandise.
