I have lost count of the number of times I purchased EZ Combs, but judging from the number of instructional inserts I have acquired that I did not throw out with the broken product, I'd say at least ten times. On page one it states "do not be afraid to stretch them as far as you need across your hair." Most broke on the first try. Those that I got to wear a time or two, I loved the look. Which is why I kept buying more, thinking the quality would eventually meet the instructions. Of course I do not have the receipts, which fade in a matter of days anyway. But that statement signifies one or both of two things.
One, the product is expected to last only thirty days, per their "guarantee"; and/or two, per their directive on use, the thirty days stipulation directly invalidates their instructions. I intend to, without original packaging and receipts, send the whole broken lot that I did keep along with the inserts back and expect them to be replaced or change that wording to something more along the lines of, "The elastic is very thin, delicate and unreliable and if not utilized with extreme caution, the product will break before you get a chance to insert them into your hair."
