Repeated calls (I have a log of calls from 4-19 to 4-27) to dress network without return calls & without confirmation of receipt. Tried to cancel order to verify that my card wouldn't be charged, order not cancelled. Tried to return 1 dress due to color, company would not give authorization to return. Stated that department was not available. Took my name and number and stated they would return call. They did not.
The day of the prom, the dress we wanted to keep - zipper broke. Ended up wearing the least desired dress. Called company about the broken zipper. They claim that the defective zipper was my issue. Refused to take either dress in return. I feel this was a scam. 1. Company states they will confirm within 24 hours of order receipt that merchandise will ship. Never received confirmation until 10 days after placing order and after repeated calls. 2. Company states they will take dresses back for a 15% restocking fee. Now website says 50% restocking fee. I would have not ordered from company if they did not have a return policy and definitely would not have ordered if return policy was 50%. 3. Company intentionally delays answers and does not return calls so that they can hold the consumer prisoner once they have made an online purchase.
