Consumer Complaints & Reviews

This company posed as "dish network" and the woman I spoke to said I had to be connected over to finish the sale, which I later come to find out she did not even work for them. I did call the real 800 number that I always call for even tech support! They took $135 from my mother and $108 from my account, which was supposed to be for the dish bill. We were shocked to get a call saying the bill was past due.

They also say you are supposed to get a rebate card for the one $49.99 fee to hook up your service, which I have not received and I'm unable to get anyone who is willing to do anything about any of this. I am not totally worried about my money, but they took money from my mom and she is disabled and dying. We pay most of her bills for her due to the fact she receives very little from her disability check. This company should be held accountable for what they are doing to people and be made to pay it back.

I had to pay a few bills late, which causes fees. And my mother had an overdraft, not too mention the fact that the upset from this threw her into a bronchial spasm (exacerbation of the lungs due to her disease). We have fees to try to possibly recover the money, which is $20 per debit to our accounts. That's $60 for me and $60 for my mother. Well, $120 for me because I am the one that covers her bills.

My credit card statement showed that I was being billed by this company. After calling them to find out why, I was told that I signed up for Dish Network through a third-party (ClubSaveology). The girl who signed me up evidently decided to get herself a bonus by signing me up for some extra protection that I never asked for because I already got a protection program that Dish offered and I still pay for. I would never sign up for two protection plans, and I would never give any company authorization to a recurring payment.

Delia, employee #**, was the supervisor I dealt with. She told me that all four payments of $19.23 would be returned to my credit card. After 10 days, only one payment showed up. I called the back today to speak with Delia again and I was told they do not have a supervisor named Delia and the employee number did not help. I was then disconnected.

I know that I called the exact same place that she was working at. I took down all of the information on my original call with her. They have two locations. One in New Jersey and one in Florida. This time, I confirmed that I had the right location. I gave them the name of the CSR who escalated my call to Delia and both of their ID numbers. I cannot seem to make contact with the supervisor Delia and there is no record of my original call to her. I believe they are guilty of credit fraud in some form. I need to speak to someone who can help me. I do not have the resources to find anyone. I always heard that Consumer Affairs are the folks to get in touch with.
