Central Coast Nutraceuticals

Leila of Del Mar CA (11/19/08)
I ordered a Trial Offer of a one month supply of Green Tea Extreme for 1.00 plus 4.95 shipping total of 5.95 from Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. AKA Greenteaextreme. I called 888-692-8352 and canceled further shipments within a few days of receiving trial offer on Sept. 17, 2008 with a person named Brian. I was informed by Brian that his name was all that was necessary and no further shipments would be sent.

On October 15, 2008 I received a charge (via my CapitalOne Credit card) for 38.95 by Greenteaextreme posted on September 24, 2008. I called CapitalOne Credit Card Company and informed them that I did not authorize this charge nor had I received any further products from this company since the 5.95 trial offer. They informed me that there was an additional charge in the amount of 44.90 for October 9, 2008. My credit card company put in a dispute and advised me to call Greenteaextreme again, to make sure that I was removed from their mailings.

On October 15, 2008 I called Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc/AKA Greenteaextreme at 888-692-835. After being placed on hold for over thirty minutes I finally reached a *woman* who would not give a name and whom hung up on me when I told her mine. I then left a message on their voice mail system to stop billing me for products not received and to remove me from their service.

I later received two letters from CapitalOne crediting me for the 38.95 and 44.90 disputed charges.

Approximately October 19th I received a package from Fulfillment Center? which I did not authorize nor want from Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. AKA Greenteaextreme. I returned to sender.

On November 16, 2008 I received another package from Fulfillment Center? that I returned to sender unopened on November 18, 2008 (Monday).

On November 18, 2008 I called my credit card company CapitalOne again and learned that Greenteaextreme placed another charge for an additional 44.90 for November. which I disputed. I then called Greenteaextreme at 888-692-8352. I was told by auto voice message that there would be a 71 minute and 32 second waiting period to speak with a representative due to the popularity of their product?. I then called back and left a voice mail asking them to stop shipping and billing me and that I was filing a complaint with Consumers Affairs and the BBB.

I want Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc/AKA Greenteaextreme to stop billing me then sending me their product. Besides the aggravation and time involved over this Trial Offer? I can not use their product it made me very ill and caused heart palpitations

Hopefully there will not be an economic damage from this and thankfully no physical damage since I only used their product one time.

I ordered a FREE Trial Offer of ACAI BERRY POWER 500 (pay S/H 4.95) as seen on your website in the side bar. Only to discover it was a SCAM and they charged me an additional 50.00 for other products + 39.95 per month for other stuff.

PLEASE POST A WARNING ON YOUR SITE stating that those advertisments on your page are or may not be ligitamate offers. This one referrences Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Memet Oz as well. It even has Oprah's picture on the site. I have written to both of them also.

I held on the phone for over one hour to cancel the order but was repeatedly disconnected. I also sent an email and notified my bank.

I am on a fixed income of only 640 per month and can not afford to make a mistake like this.

I went on line and ordered 1bottle of acai diet pills, it was suppose to be free all you pay is 4.95 shipping and handling. They billed my account 44.85. When I received it I called them and they said return it for a refund, I returned it Nov. 6th and they received it on Nov.8th. Then the debited my account 39.95 this morning. I called them again, they were very rude and said, that it was not free, after 14 days they would charge you for the diet pills, that is not what it said, they keep you on hold for one hour and say they are going to press fruadulent claims against me.

I am very upset with these people and want to know what recourse I have. They send 2 other products, that you do not ask for when they send the free bottle. Hoodiburst Gum 9.95 and Hoodiawater for 29.95, that's why they charge you 44.85 initially. then they want to charge you shipping and handling that you have already paid, and 15% restocking fee, for what you never asked for in the first place, which they say is on page 2, I never saw a page 2. Please can you help me?

It is putting my checking account in havoc, for these extra charges that they keep taking out of my account, and will not refund. I need for this to stop immediately, but they will not co operate. not to mention they keep you on hold for an hour when you try to call them. I am very distressed, as I do not keep extra money in my account, and I cannot afford returned checks charges that may happen thanks to them.

I purchased what I thought was a sample of this company's product. I shortly discovered what their policy was, so I immidiately(30 minutes later) sent them an email and said I did not want the product to cancel this.

I ask them to cancel it along with anything else they had automatically signed me up for. I didn't get a confirmation of the order as they said I would, so I assumed that all orders had been canceled. NOT...

I tried calling them for 3 days as a follow up without being able to ever get through their system.

They sent the product to me 12 days later. I immediately tried to get through their phone system again to tell them not to send anything else, but could not get through again.

I had to obtain an RMA # to send this product back. I expressed my concern again through emil and writing it on the return order form that I didn't want their products or any other offers and stop sending me orders I did not want or order!

I ask them to refund my credit card in full(45.85) for the products. I didn't want this or anything else they were offering.

The only way to reach them is through email and they do not respond in a timely manner if at all. It is impossible to get through their phone system!!!

They finally responded through email several days later. I got my RMA # and returned the product with a note stating do not send anything else and to cancel all previous orders they had signed me up for. They never respond to the cancel all orders email!

The company would not give me the full refund of 45.85. The orginal amount they charged for their products. They credit my card with 33.92. They still owe me a credit of 11.93 on this order. Even though they had more than enough time to cancel the order. They would only refund 33.92. They will not respond to me regarding this problem. They charged my credit card again on 10/29/08 with 38.95. They now own me a total credit of 50.88.

Jae Lopez emailed me on 11/06/08, and said I had agreed to the terms and that is why they are charging my CC for another shipment. I have not received any shipment! It is impossible to get through to these dishonest people!

I checked this company out on the BBB of AZ and they have multiple complaints about the same problem I have. They are not doing business in an honest manner. Something needs to be done to stop them from continuing their shady business practices and doing this to other consumers!

They post a deceiving 'pop-up' ad online for beneficial herbal products: 'trial offers for 4.95. Once they get your credit card number they withdraw 40.+ monthly from your account

withdrawal from my bank account of, fortunately, only one month, 40, because I caught it. but I'm sure many others are taken in by these ads
