Laura of Englewood, FL May 30, 2009 This company uses a free trial offer to charge your account for a membership that you may not beaware of. Call your bank and report this fraud. This scam hurts innocent people. They take your money. This is the scum of the earth at work on the internet. Using the trusting names as Oprah and Rachel Ray. SHIRLEY of HENDERSON, NC May 29, 2009 I ordered this product and agree to pay only the shipping charges, least that is what I thought until I got my bank statement and seen where they had took out 69.96 on 3-31-09, and then 29.95 for Fit Factory on 4-08-09 and then on 4-06-09 Acaipure for 39.95, and then again on 4-15-09 another 69.95 for Bromalite. I have called to try to get my money back. They told me someone would be calling me back. I never receive a call back. Then I call back to demand my money back and they told me I would only receive one complimentary refund back because I sent them a bottle of their product back. John of Dallas, TX May 20, 2009 After becoming a victim of the Bromalite and Acai Berry scam, and having much difficulty getting a refund from these companies, I vowed to do all that I could to expose these companies, and help others get a refund as well. So, after months of extensive research, I’d like to share some helpful information that may be helpful in getting a refund and stopping this scam. I discovered that a company called Dialogue Marketing handles the customer service for Bromalite and Acai Berry products. Dialogue Marketing address is, 370 E 800 S, Orem, UT 84097, phone # (801) 229-2293. The president of the company is, Alejandro Vargas. Dialogue Marketing has call centers in Orem UT, Auburn Hills MI, and Troy MI. However, I was only able to come up with contact names for the Bromalite and Acai Berry call center that I called in Auburn Hills, MI. The contact names are Margaret McComb-head manager, Andy Dobry-assistant manager, and Michelle Davis-assistant manager, phone #248-836-2600, fax #248-836-2601. One other interesting thing about Dialogue Marketing, Bromalite and Acai Berry is, when I searched the Better Business Bureau web site for each of these companies, I noticed that UT is headquarters for all of them. Could they all possibly be one in the same? One can only assume so. Anyway, call, write, or fax your request for a refund, or complaints to the contact names given above for the quickest response. Patty of Norman, OK May 16, 2009 I ordered their "free trial" offer and tried it for 4 days. I didn't feel good and gained weight. I called and canceled but still have been billed 2 different charges of 69.95. I am trying to let Discover take care of it but who knows if that will happen with all these complaints about their "wonderful" customer service. I will never give my credit card again for a "free trial". Norma of Princeton, WV May 10, 2009 I ordered (stupid to begin with) a free trial bottle of bromalite and paid shipping and handling only. I never ordered anymore after that and today I received another bottle in the mail. I immedately called them and told them I did not order it and was returning it an did not expect my credit card to be charged for this. I was told to read the fine print. Anyway, I cancelled the product and got a cancellation number and am returning the bottle tomorrow unopened. I would like to file a complaint against the company if they do not remove charges off my credit card. Cheryl of Keyport, NJ May 4, 2009 I ordered this product online as a trial offer. I was unaware at the time of the scheme being offered. I did not receive the trial offer and when I learned on the internet that this company is basically unscrupulous I began a series of phone calls and letters to suspend any further charges to my account. I did receive one envelope containing the product, but I refused the shipment, and tried to telephone the company. I was put on hold, transferred to barely English speaking people who literally after every sentence put me on hold again for 10 to l5 minutes then told I was being transferred and subsequently hung up on. I have requested a cease and desist from automatically charges my account for goods and services not received but have been unable to satisfactorily resolve this issue. Dan of Scottsdale, AZ April 29, 2009 I ordered a trial of Bromalite in addition to many other cleansing products (had no intention to continue using, just to give it a shot to see if it worked) and like everyone else, read the fine print about their monthly billing service. I canceled my subscription immediately after placing the order, calling a week later to confirm that I was not in the system. After using the trial I found that the product does absolutely nothing, and decided to forget about it until I was billed after canceling twice! I called Bromalite and was asked to provide a confirmation number of my cancellation in order to receive a refund, something I had not received the last two times I called. After canceling and receiving my cancellation number, I was told I would still have to pay the charges. I am barely making it through college, let alone having to pay for scams like this. Now I have to block them from charging me because they WILL charge you regardless of your cancellation or not. It isn't even worth the 4 trial, so don't bother with it. I felt great that I had mooched the system for an expensive product, though it doesn't do anything anyway. Little did I know, they would be the ones mooching me later on. Once they have your card numbers, they can take whatever they want. I'm lucky I only had to pay 70, compared to the others that got hundreds stolen from them. I feel cheated and angry that this happened, to myself as well as anyone else who gets dragged into their mess. Karolyn of Vandalia, MO April 23, 2009 BROMALITE is a scam. Of course, I found out after two charges were made on my credit card of 69.95 apiece. There is no such thing as a "free trial", keep repeating it to yourself when you see any more advertisements that sound too good to be true. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau in Utah, and will contact the Attorney General. Both of these are easy to find on the internet. If EVERYONE who has posted a complaint here does the same thing, maybe we can shut these people down. Alan of Amarillo, TX April 14, 2009 Alan of Amarillo TX (04/14/09) Report Your Experience
