theodore of wallingford, CT August 6, 2009

I ordered a Cardone ECM for my Camaro. A Standard ECM was sent. The security seal on the unit was broken. It was shipped in an old fruit juice container box. The ECM was defective. I tried to contact Autopartsgiant by phone and by E mail several times for sending the unit back. There was no return information in the shipping container either for the defective unit sent or for my "old" ECM. Auto parts giant refuses to acknowledge my request for return information or to resolve this. American Express has paid Autopartsgiant 360.34 and now expects me to pay them.

Edwin of Hastings, MI August 3, 2009

Called this company and placed an order for parts. After being hung up on over 3 times, I finnally got my orderin. They took the money from my bank card, and received an email confurmation that parts were shipped. After 6 days, nothing, called company and again 9 call hang ups. After getting in, they were very rude. Now it is over 15 days, no parts, no money returned. Lost 150.00 and still no parts.

elizabeth of las vegas, NV July 6, 2009

I ordered a hydraulic pump on January 2, 2009. i paid for the item through Paypal. The part was defective, so Auto Parts Giant gave me an address to send the part back at, They claimed as soon as the defective part was received they would send out a new part. I waited over two months, calling on a weekly regarding my part. Every time i asked for a tracking number or speak to a manager, they would hang up on me. In April after begging a pleading over the phone one of Auto Parts Giant associates told me that the part was not available. The associate said he would have a manager sign for a refund and my account would be refunded immediately. Well it has been almost three months since then, i have called 47 times!!! With only broken promises that i will receive my refund. I Don't know what to and feel absolutely powerless. Please help me get my 354.40 dollars back.

Enrique of Mesa, AZ May 12, 2009

I made a Visa Debit purchase by phone from the above on 4/22/09 in the amount of 168.40 and as their website promised,i received no tracking numbers,i wasnt allowed either to log onto my new account w/them either via the password they sent me. I called them,i was very polite too,and they just kept hanging up on me,5 times in a row, they are heartless. I finally got manager J. Sinclaires voicemail and he called me back the next day surprisingly enough, he said the hang-ups from cust-serv where actually disconnections because of construction up the street, he then assured me he would get to the bottom of my tracking numbers that didnt excist for some reason and that my order was probably lost now as well.

He never called the next day as promised and cust-serv when i tried to get some answers from suddenly started suffering from construction up the street phone difficulties again and kept hangin up. I have e-mailed them and was finally allowed to log onto my account for that one day only which showed order shipped, still no tracking numbers somehow? So i sent yet another e-mail and received a short reply which read "package shipped".

Finally on May 6,i get a call from someone named John,he wasnt John Sinclaire, but whoever he was he said that "I have some bad news, UPS damaged your package so they're sending it back to us, and it would take 90 days to back-order, so we're refunding your money, back into your account, it will take 2-3 business days".

Well here we are on this 12th day of May 2009, no money, no nothin, no explanation. They still have no idea what happened with anything, now i can add 168.40 to the list. On the phone they are so rude and just disconnect me, but i have still remained very calm w/them,they are who they are,and i wont change who i am due to their full lack of respect.

Larry of Giddings, TX April 29, 2009

Ordered parts for timing assembly ie. belts, rollers...Didn't receive them for two weeks although my credit card was run through the same day. On receiving I discovered only one of two idler rollers was sent, a water pump I didn't order and not for my car, seals for a buick crank,a thermostst housing for I don't know what. .

Upon calling I was puton hold with a voice telling me they were really trying to get to my call, which I heard three times before the connection was terminated unexpectedly. I then e-mailed the company, and received a reply from "Jon Sinclair" (who I wonder if even exists), asking me to call the number given above, with the same results. Many minutes of waiting on hold, never talking to anyone, then disconnected. Wish I had seen all the complaints before I ordered.

Robert of Tucson, AZ April 23, 2009

Cancelled a parts order on 4/3/09.On 4/6/08 taken from our account. I have made several attempts to receive my credit thru emails and phone on 4/8,4/14,4/16/4/21/4/23. Phone is 5-30 minute wait time. On 4/8-4/16 I was told my credit should appear in 3-5 days that the account did show cancelled on the 3rd. On 4/21 my wife called and was responded to rudely and shortly it was hard to hear George (the customer service person) over the background noise. She was told the order was cancelled on the 8th due to a 90 day backorder. Our credit would appear end of week.

She called again to verify and was told there wasn't a BO not sure where the person found that info and he would submit a request to finance to have it investigated. She asked if an email or phone could be sent. Verified account # and contact info. Wife called again on 4/23 order was cancelled on the 3rd takes 3 days to confirm cancellaltion, and then 3 days to receive credit. She asked about the 6 days, customer service said maybe 8. He did see where there was a request to investigate the account was submitted on the 21st. She asked if we could receive some confirmation of status. He said they would let us know as soon as they had investigated in about 3 days. He said it would have been credited to someone elses account or our bank or cc co may be holding it in which case we need to contact them. We are waiting for 140.32 to be put back in our account. Bills are due and we are supporting extra family members at this time.

Jeff of Peoria AZ (04/14/09)
I followed their online method to return 2 parts...they were not correct for my car. They ignored the online request for return auth. numbers. I called and they gave me a return auth. #. I shipped the parts back via USPS with delv. confirmation. 5 weeks later they have still not refunded my money for those 2 parts. I have called them twice and each time they take down the USPS delv. confirm # and put me on hold, then come back on to say, yup, it's all in order, that I'll get a refund right away. Never happens.

I have now started a charge dispute with AMEX. I also asked AMEX to consider dropping them from being an approved AMEX merchant. DO NOT USE AUTOPARTSGIANT.COM
