Amazon.com

Jake of Brooklyn, NY October 2, 2008

Jake of Brooklyn NY (10/02/08)
I ordered a Treo palm from Amazon.com which did arrive with a synchronization defect. The manufacture defect was kept from the public at the time today everyone knows about it. When I complained to Amazon about the defective product they offered me a full refund and assured me the synchronization problem was corrected in the newer Treo model. So I agreed to order a new Treo from Amazon and told them that Id send back the old defective Treo after the new model arrived.

To my surprise, after the new model arrived Amazon was no longer willing to give a full refund only partial. Adding injury to insult, the new model was also problematic. So the people of Amazon can now take pride in knowing that they have successfully cheated a loyal customer twice. Congratulations Amazon you bring pride to the US market place.

When I ordered a Mobile Receipt and Document Scanner and Software Combination Version 3.0 Sold by: Valyouaus, it said that it was brand new. When I received the shipment, it was clearly used and mis-used. I have been trying for about four weeks to return it to no avail. Valyouaus argues that it was opened but it was new.

Everyone who has looked at the shipment advised me that it is used and I should not give it as a gift. It does not satisfy anyone as a brand new unit. I sould never use it and I have lost about 140.

I listed a small digital camera for sale and included a Flickr jpg link so that buyers might see the item for themselves. The next day I get a notice from Amazon that they cancelled my listing, threatened to suspend my account (!) and then accused me of direct buyers or transactions away from the Amazon.com Payments system.

Another example of a company getting too big and subsequently a God complex. Lost a potential sale. Will not shop there and removed all links to them on my many websites and blogs.

Diandra of Jamaica, NY September 16, 2008

Diandra of Jamaica NY (09/16/08)
I placed an order for a camera using the delivery address as [address] Blvd. However, i later for out that the correct address was [address] Ave, so i cancelled the initial order and reordered the very same product. the following day i received a call asking to confirm the purchase of items I left detail message explaining that i purchased 1 item later i found out the they delivered 2 cameras to the same address.

i immediately had one returned when i was assigned a tracking #. Upon receiving this # i was told the refund will be made via the same method of payment within 14 business days, this was on or about July 4th. I am yet to receive my refund to date despite numerous calls

The funds were set aside to finance my citizenship. As a result of this delay I am forced to postpone applying to the NYPD
