Mokkarala of Houston, TX November 2, 2008

Mokkarala of Houston TX (11/02/08)
I have purchased 2 books from Amazon on June 11, 2008 using a debit card from Wells Fargo Bank. 1. Student Solution Manual 42.95, and 2. Chemistry 79.00. I returned the books later and Amazon refunded the money to my Wells Fargo account on July 8 (42.95) and July 7 (85.99). However, I closed the debit card account in the third week of June. Therefore, the bank couldnot accept the payments and hence returned it back to Amazon in Sept 9 and on Sept. 12.

I have called the Amazon billing dept and customer service but they tell me that they can not refund my money by a check because they have to go back to the same bank. I have called the Wells Fargo Bank and they tell me that they can not accept money on a closed account. How can I get my money? Both companies are unable to accommodate my situation. Please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Their explanation was complete bull****.

I have been a good customer for many years. This iten was listed as 'in stock' and I selected the super saver option because it was only an additional 3 - 5 business days. The current 'estimated time of delivery' is 3 weeks. That is outrageous and unacceptable.

They have lost a good customer. If they don't take my name off their email list immediately or I will respond to every possible survey with a copy of this email.

I could have walked to the local store, purchased the item, made the paper to wrap it, and sent it myself for less, and it would have arrived sooner.

Amazon has become a third-rate supplier, and their customers are the victims. Their only response to my questions was an automatic response.... they have become scam artists, taking money for products they hope to provide at some later date.

Their current idea of 'service' should be exposed for what it is.

I have had a Seller Account on Amazon for several years. They recently closed my account and froze the money they owe me for 90 days based on seller performance. If people return items, for any reason, it reflects negatively on the seller. If people don't want the item, I can't stop them from returning. Feedback is based upon the percentage of negative or neutral left, and not upon the total number of items sold.

This is a problem because most people with ordinary transactions do not leave feedback, but people with an ax to grind are nasty because it is one-sided feedback. I wasn't accused of cheating anyone or anthing like that but they decided to close my 4000 plus listings due to a small number of complaints and refunds. It's just unfair.

I count on this income to survive.

I have been selling on amazon marketplace for more than 2 years, maintaining 99% positive feedback. Amazon earned over tens thousands of dollars from me. I had 2 Amazon A-Z claims filed against me, due to a software that I had sold (same game software title, world of warcraft pc, in USED category. The buyer complained that the cd-key doesn't work. I replied to the amazon a-z claims, that it is listed in used category, as it is only good for the software, box, and they will need to register with the online game site, to recieve new cd-key. Both buyers seem not to understand, and escalated to claim.

Amazon had my account suspended. I contacted amazon, explaining that amazon should had not had the USED category for this specific game title, to prevent from any future incidents like this. Amazon kept sending repeated same e-mail template stating that the amazon alliance had decided to terminate my membership.

My income to support our 4 kids, had severe damaged, due to error judgement by amazon alliance. Nor they care to listen, and help to recify the situation. I created a new account, under my wife's name. In the first 28 days, amazon had terminated my wife's account. I passed on to my other friend, of my inventory, and help set up account for him. His account got terminated in the first 20 days. I believe amazon marketplace have a system, in giving out % compactible, where it will alert amazon, of this seller account that is high likely linked to their black list. Once amazon alliance send an e-mail to terminate, it is a flat-out death sentence, and to the future sellers who has similar to my inventory that I have, or sold to (high volume of inventory, such as books, music, pc games, toys, baby clothes).

I ordered a 2009 Wiley GAAP Guide and CD Rom at a special price because it was a pre-order. Original order didn't contain the CD Rom. Amazon promised to correct this and send me the missing CD. After three attempts, I'm sitting with three paperback guides without the promised CD Rom. Called customer service they won't send the CD-Rom and asked to return the two replacement orders.
