Right Size Smoothies

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I called and spoke with a Jessica to cancel my order and requested return information only to no avail. Jessica stated that the return information would arrive in the mail within a week. I never received any return info and then they (Right Size) charged me the $119.80 for not returning their product on time. When I called to question this charge, I was told that I never requested return info and that the best she could do was refund $39.95. When I asked to speak with the supervisor, she replied that she was the supervisor, and that "the $39.95 was the best I was going to get; take it or leave it."

Company does not refund the money for the free shipping rebate. You must call Free Shipping who tells you that you need to go to their website (freeshipping.com) and join for a price, but you can cancel within the 30 days. I think they do this so that people get disgusted and say forget it and they get to keep the shipping.

Free sample cost me $119. I returned it within the allotted time frame and was still charged. It was returned because of the deception used in getting the free shipping of $18 returned to me. To get the $18 shipping fee, I had to contact another company and register for another service, therefore I called and cancelled RightSize and was still charged for product that I had returned.

I also ordered the smoothie thinking that I was getting a free trial and just be charged for shipping and handling. After I entered my credit card information in the automatic system, it said that I was going to be charged $119.80. I tried to cancel but my card was charged the $18 anyway. I called consumer service and she told me to send it back on the 10th and it will be cancelled. So today I called consumer service and the rep. was trying to convince me to keep the product. This company is a scam!

I did the 30-day free trial. I ordered Lean Cocoa Bean and Skinni Vanilliy and received Lean Cocoa Bean and Very Berry. I thought, "Oh, well, still a variety." The berry was very sweet and the cocoa bean made me feel sluggish and not quite up to par after wards. I called to return and cancel and was told that I should have read the agreement that states if I open both cans the trial period becomes null and void. The best they can do is break the $119.80 into two payments. Why order two flavors if you can only try one?

I ordered their free sample of the smoothie I heard advertised. I gave them my charge no. to pay the postage. After a week, I called and talked to a gentleman and told him I didn't want to order any more. He asked how I was using it and I told him for breakfast. He said I should try it for lunch instead. I said I would, but I told him I still don't want anymore. He said okay. Now, I notice my charge account has a $119.80 charge from their company. How in the world am I supposed to cancel this stuff? I called before the two week trial was up just so this wouldn't happen.

The advertisements offer a free 30-day trial, that was why I ordered it. When I received it, the invoice indicated that I only had a 14-day free trial and to return the product, I have to call customer service and be provided with a return code. But I could never get a live body on the phone and would be hold for hours at a time. When I did get a customer service in sales, they indicated they could not help.

I got the 14-day trial last month. Well, it doesn't taste too good and it definitely does not help you lose weight!

Today they charged me $119 for my "free" two-week trial. When I called to ask for a refund, I was told that they would not refund my money for any reason because it was after 14 days.

Around March 22, 2011 I wanted to try the Right Size Health & Nutrition shakes that were advertised on the radio. When I went through the recording, it tells you that you can order a trial size for $18.80. I agreed to that and after you give them your credit card info, it tells you that they will charge you $119 to send you the full package. I then said on the recorder "no, no, no. Forget it, don't send me the product". A week or two later, the product came anyway. I figured for the $18, I won't get upset. I just recently checked my account and found that on 4/26/11 Right Size charged my account $119.80 without any additional product being sent.

I called them up today and asked for a refund and they refused. I told them I never even opened the product and I will send the unopened package back to them. They still said no and told me that they they just charged my card another $42.00 yesterday and now sent an additional product. I did not authorize them to continue to charge me on this product. I am extremely upset that they cannot grant me the courtesy of refunding my money. I am looking for a refund of $119.80 and the additional $42.00. Please help me. Thank you.

They (Right Size Health and Nutrition) advertise the trial for their weight loss product as a little less than $19. You are led to believe that you can try two flavors of their product for this trial. If you like it, don't do anything and they will bill you $100+ and continue send you their product. If you don't like it, call within the trial offer period to cancel.

So I decided to try them out. I ordered 2 flavors. The first one I tried I didn't like. To be fair, I wanted to try the second flavor before I made up my mind completely about their product. I tried the second flavor. It wasn't as bad as the first, but not great either. I thought I'd try it a couple more days. I still didn't like it very much, so I called today to cancel. At this time I was informed since I opened both canisters, I had to pay for them and they would be billing me $100+ next week. I asked how I was supposed to try them without opening them. She said that it is explained when you order. It was not explained when I ordered. It was not explained that way on the infomercial. I was led to understand, you pay the trial price to try them. If you continue to receive them then you of course pay their regular price.

As a result of their sketchy way of presenting their "trial offer", I am going to be billed for a product I don't like, won't use and can't send back. I am unemployed, and before ordering, I considered the impact on my food bill, if these item would be replacing meals. If I liked it and used it in place of meals, I would be able to swing the cost of the product. But since I don't like it, I can't afford to pay for the product and purchase the groceries for the meal it was supposed to replace.

This letter is to ask you to give me back my money. I am so tired of companies like you taking advantage of people like me. The commercials that you have on the radio and on TV states that you are offering a free trial for Right Size Smoothie. But you are not! My account was deducted $119.80 from your company. You already deducted 18.00 dollars from my account for shipping and handling and that made the product not free! To add to this mess, you went into my checking account and deducted another $119.80 out my account.

I want my money back. I have not opened the product and I want my money back. The customer service representative that I keep speaking to refuses to let me speak with a supervisor or anyone over them. That had my highly **. Then the only other method to speaking with a supervisor is to write them. The customer service representative offered me an address, which is a bad look for your company. I spoke with customer service representative 2004 and 4950. They were no help and again they refused to let me talk with a supervisor.

They only thing that I want is my money back! I can buy this product out of the local CVS where I live for a whole lot cheaper. So there is no way in the world I would have agree to let you charge me $119.80 this product. I want my money back in my account. I don't like to make bad press on companies but this is a bad look. I didn't talk to address when I ordered the risk free product so why do your company feel like I need to talk to an address to get my point across. I am so disappoint with this company and I would never suggest that any one us it, because the company is not forthright and straight up.
