On the 27th of April in 1998, I ordered from a
letter sent via e-mail about a "Weight Loss Pills" called "FiberLean."
I visited the website and printed an order form from the site and faxed it in.
There was a satisfaction guarentee on the
product. I received the prioduct as promised, after paying the amount of $82.90 (tax&
shipping Incl.)
The product had no effect and so then i
returned the unused portion along with empty bottles to the same address as my check went
to. I never got a response from them any time soon after that I called a couple of times
in June and got the run around.
I then called in towards the end of July and
spoke to a Mr. Carol who said that he they did not receive the merchandise, but that he
would talk to his manager and see if he could refund the purchase amount ( $79.90) If not
he would contact me. Within a week and a half. I have called them maybe one more time
after that but never received any refund.
I mailed package through the U.S. post office.
But do not remember the type of shipping I used. I do strongly believe that they did
receive the package, but is reluctant to refund my money. It's been so long and they have
not called me once through this whole ordeal. But I have received another e-mail that has
the same advertising about the pills. I think it is fradulent.
I am a college student, so my bank account is not very large in numbers. Eighty dollars is
a substantial amount for me to lose in a case such as this.
