Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I orders the acai berry pills to lose weight but never received them and was charged $97.55 on my credit card I don't have a phone number or address for this order because I ordered on the computer and used my credit card it was supposed to cost 6.95 and that was it Please advise what to do how to get my money back

I keep getting phone calls from a collection agency (name unknown). However they are calling from 325-455-0018. I have tried to return the call but get a high pitched whistle. They claim I owe $80 charged on a credit card that was rejected on July 1, 2009. When I try to inquire about the product that I was supposed to have received, they hang up. What can I do? I went on line about the company and there is nothing but complaints. I have never been contacted by the company personally or by mail.

I purchased two items on August 20, 2010, claiming the items to be free once the mail in rebate was received. The items cost $99.96 a piece for a total of $199.92. I have submitted the rebate and now they refuse to refund my monies. They claim that they sent me twice the order and that that covers the rebate. I have never opened Acai Optimum or the Advanced Colon and want to return the unopened items to get my money back and they refuse.

They further charged me multiple times for shipping for which they have refunded a portion but refuse to pay the rest. On November 30, 2010, I consulted with Pamela ** who told me they would not refund my money or accept the unopened product back for my refund. All I want is my $199.92 refunded as originally promised by a company in your state. Can you please help?

A few days ago I responded to an ad & ordered a free trial Acai Berry supplement that was advertised for $0.95. It was a 30-day trial and cancel in 14 days. Within 2 days this company took out $0.95 out of my bank account and on the following day an additional $169.95 was taken out, bouncing my bank account. The bank told me that this was going to be a recurring charge & needed a cancellation number from the company.

I tried calling the company to find that the message box was full, not allowing me to leave a message to cancel whatever they signed me up for. I kept calling and finally received another message saying it was after business hours & no voicemail for me to leave a message. I finally located their address online via another website of customer complaints which identified their phone number because I couldn't locate the original website.

My bank is investigating but cannot credit that money back into my account until the investigation is complete. I have not received the product as it was ordered just a few days ago, I think on 6/24th. Transactions took place on 6/25th and 6/26th and now I'm overdrawn. This is a nightmare for me as I am the only working parent in my home with a family of five to care for. I also found out from the bank that the charges are recurring, which they put a stop payment for any future withdrawals from this company. I had checks for my bills and automatic payments for bills due today and the next two day. I'm horrified because now everything is bouncing and I may not get my money back.

I fell for ad; free trial bottle of acai berry, you pay only s&h $11.98". I am new to computers and credit cards, never ordered anything over the computer befor, and will never do it again..I had to sign up for unemployment benifits, by doing so. they force you to get a credit card a "reliacard": whereas they directly deposit my weekly benifit of $169.00 into that account.that`s the amount I recieve, for working full time the last 15 years. Anyways, I saw the ad, decided to try it, I entered my information they requested, and when they asked for my credit card number, I entered that, came back with a message saying, "error" sorry your order did not go thru, please try again. Sence I was New at this, I entered my information and card number again, pushed submit. once again came back with "error" sorry your order did not go thru, please try again. By this time, I thought, forget this what a hassel for a free bottle of pills, so I clicked on the "cancel" selection, and submitted that. End of the story..,not by a long shot!

I soon found out after returning home from 2-wk. elk hunt. in my p.o.box was a "free trial bottle of pills", sence it came back twice, after entering card number "ERROR SORRY ORDER DID NOT GO THRU", and sence I also clicked on "CANCEL", you can understand why I was surprized to recieve, my FREE bottle of pills,"PAY ONLY S&H CHARGES OF $11,98" I also got back on pc and clicked CANCEL any further orders. I`d pay the $11.98 they would deduct from my account. END OF STORY.

To my horror, 3-4 days later, I called got my card activity, to find these charges withdrawn from my account: $11.98..$11.98 (for the 2 times I entered my card #, and they said ERROR) $119.00 for my lifelong membership, order any pills you want, and only pay S&H of $11.98 per month! Non-Refundabe! When I tried to e-mail them with my problem, it would come back to me "message failed going thru" no matter how I tried I couldn`t contact them, the ph.# they gave me didn`t work. Finally I saw a box I could click on to contact them "IF YOU EXPECT FRAUD" click here, also warned me by clicking, fraud, I was commiting a felony, if case was investigated, and I was proved to be lying.

I sent them my complaint, the $150.00 it had already cost me for my FREE PILLS!, also added, that I had did it, sence it said error! sence I said CANCEl.

Want it to STOP NOW. Take my name off all of [their] lists. I didn`t even ask for my money back, Just Stop it now. That was 12-12-09. on 12-28-09--$119.93 deducted--1-15-10--$11.98 deducted. 2-17-10 $11.98 deducted, also a e-mail from them, your order is cancelled! Then on 3-09-10--$11.98 deducted, On 3-19-10--$11.98 deducted. On 4-19-10--$11.98 deducted, Last of Feb. they did send me a refund check of $119.93 (lifelong membership they signed me up for).

3-10-10 was my last employment benifit, I have $11.00 in that account. Asked them once my account balance is 0 will I still be charged $11.98 for S & H?I f so, I will see [them] in court, telling [them] right now I WILL PAY NOTHING! Needless to say, I`ve been stressed to the max! My sister died Feb.09, my brother died Oct. 09, and my Mother died in May, she made me her Executor...great! then my dog died in March. I am at the end of my stress level, I pray you take them for everything you can get. Good Luck, So far they have stolen $219.00 from me for ONE BOTTLE OF FREE PILLS!

I ordered Acai Berry and Colon Cleanse as a free trial and cancelled my free trial the same day. After speaking with the company as to why my trial was not cancelled and cancellation email was not received, Michael, the supervisor, informed me that he does not know. He offered and has informed me that they will credit me $100 of the $160 they took/stole out of my account. Why did they offer to credit me anything if they knew I was in the right? I would like to receive the rest of my money.

Using false news channels to lure people to use a weight loss pill. I don't mind if people knowingly take the risk of trying a diet supplement, but I feel very strongly that this company is using well known business names (such as CNN, Fox News, Consumer Reports) to lure people into believing that this "News station" ran an actual article confirming that the 'miracle diet' works. Some parts of the page says it is by News7 - other parts of the page say News6. Just would like to notify someone who can hopefully put a stop to the untruths and misleading.

On 8/15/09 I signed up for an online free 14 day trial of the colon cleanse product for $4.95 shipping. It also offered a 30 day money back guarantee.

My credit card was immediately charged the shipping of $4.95 the next day, on 8/16/09. The website indicated expected delivery on 8/19, but nothing was received by 8/27. I tried calling at numerous times throughout the day but kept getting the same recording. Realizing that the "free 14 day trial" period had already expired, I called my bank to block any future charges from this company. Under the circumstances, they did so immediately and also credited back to me the $4.95 shipping charge already paid to them. They agreed that this situation was not acceptable. Later that evening, I sent an e-mail to customer support at Acai Berry Breeze advising them to cancel the order effective immediately and not to send me any products going forward. I got an e-mail from them on 8/28 which noted that the account was cancelled effective 8/28.

Coincidentally, the item was delivered by regular mail afterwards on 8/29. I marked the unopened package "REFUSED, RETURN TO SENDER" and returned it the same way it was delivered, by regular mail on 8/31/09. I heard nothing more from them so I thought it was over. I got my money back and they got their product back. To make matters worse, I had also purchased a companion product, Colon Cleanse the same exact way. While the dates are a little different, the experience was the same and I heard from a debt collector on the Colon cleanse product issue, but I have not heard anything about a debt collection on this one. I have a feeling I may.

I previously notified that product was never received, and no mention of an ongoing billing unless otherwise notified. I tried to contact them to no avail, so I contacted my charge card to assist in stopping any future billing. I received a collection letter from above with a website that doesn't seem to exist, and when I called the tel. number, they keep you on hold forever, so I hung up.

I recently trialed Acai Berry pure I ordered from the Internet, and somehow my trialing this product has turned into a membership of $149.95. As soon as I saw the charge on the credit card, I called to inquire what it was for. I was told I had to cancel the product and because I didn't, I was now a member. I explained that I did not want to be a member and did not use the product because it made me ill and that I would send it back. Paul told me he would not refund the money, but he would cancel the membership. I think it is awful that a company makes their money on people not canceling a product instead of the quality of their product.

Acai Berry Pure runs ads which state 14-day free offer for .99 cents shipping only. Their disclaimer at the very bottom of the webpage is so greyed-out that one has difficulty reading it (and it goes virtually unnoticed). The fact is, that the product(s) do not arrive until the 14 days is about to expire (my order arrived 12 days after my order), so therefore, one does not have an opportunity to actually try the product to see if they like it or that the Company's representation is accurate.

The Acai Berry Pure Company immediately bills you a "membership fee" of $169.95 which is set forth in the above-described disclaimer that is immediately applied to the customer's same credit card as the .99 cents, on the same day as your order, even though it claims that one can cancel within 14 days to avoid enrollment, and knowing that the product will more than likely not arrive until after that time, and that most persons will not even see this greyed-out language. "Membership fee" for what?

There are no terms and conditions listed which constitute any sort of membership. This Company clearly uses the language "membership fee," to extort monies from the general public. The Company is not really offering a "free offer," because they make sure the Company receives not only the .99 cent shipping charge, but an additional $169.95 to every person who orders. I have now located a number of persons in the BBB website who were duped by the Company for the above described reasons.

I, like many of the other reviews I have read, have been scammed. I ordered a free trial of Acai Berry back at least 6 months ago. I paid shipping. Also, the same for Colon Cleanse. I never received the product. Now, I am being sent a threatening collection letter by Healthy Online Solutions. You wait on hold, then are conveniently disconnected at caller 4 or under. I tried several times for two days and got the same result.

I wrote a letter once I did find an address to tell them I am not paying them and for them to clear this up. I never received the product and fortunately, I paid off and cancelled a credit card that they tried get money from. I did go online and put in my supposedly "account number." It says no account exists. I wrote a certified letter and mailed it, which it says they did receive 3 days later. I do not want a scam artist to threaten and mess my rating up or send it down the tube because they have incorrect information. Bring on trying to get me. I wouldn't try it if I were them. I am not paying $133.95 for anything, especially when I never received the product.

I ordered the free-trial of Acai Berry Pure and Advanced Cleanse and read that if the trial is not terminated within 14 days (not enough time), then the customer will be responsible for a full-year membership. Well, after I did not receive either product, I called and cancelled the Advanced Cleanse order because I was sure I didn't want that, but I wanted to wait a little longer to receive the Acai Berry Pure. I never received either product, but I have been charged $149.95 that the company refuses to refund. How can they force people to pay these extreme amounts and still never receive the product. I was basically charged for visiting their site. I just feel violated and helpless in defending my self in this type of fraud.

I am a single parent with no financial assistance or child support. These funds could have paid my electric bill for this month, paid for signing my 3 sons up for softball this year, which I haven't been able to do prior years because I did not have the money. I could have used this money towards rent, towards my boys summer clothes, gas in my car to get back and forth to work, etc. There are a million things I could have chosen to spend my money on.

I signed up for the free Acai Berry Tropic. I cancelled and they said I would have to pay for the shipment already shipped and I said okay but cancel my account. My CC was debited for 1 order. I then paid off my CC and closed this account. I have been harassed at work and home with calls stating they will send to a third party collection agency. I paid these persons, cancelled and am now getting letters to the effect of sending this issue to a 3rd party collection agency and stating I owe $138.90. These are for attempted charges to my closed credit card. What to do?

On 1/20/2010, this product was ordered and on 1/25/2010 a charge of $.99 for what they said to be shipping which on the order was stated free. I called and verbally cancelled the product; it was not received yet at that time. On 1/30/2010 an amount of $149.95 was taken out of our account. I called again only to be told to email the cancellation to customer service and to allow 7-10 days for the refund. On 2/16/2010, the refund was not in our account. So we called again only to be told an additional 3 days. Now my wife has been calling daily on an hourly basis calling the company demanding the money since 2/22/2010. Today is day 4 of this and still no refund. We are just asking that the $149.95 be placed back into the account which they took after the order was cancelled and not only that, it falls directly in the refund policy of 14 days. My wife will continue to call as she has told them until she sees the refund.

I November 2009, I received a pop-up on the internet. I was chosen to take a quick survey and I would receive a free gift. I did this and picked Acai Berry. All I needed to pay for was the shipping of $1.99. I paid that amount at the time of order. I received the Acai Berry a week and a half later with no receipt in the box.

Late December 2009, I receive a letter from Chase Bank telling me, I was overdrawn. The company debited $172.84 from my checking account. I called to find out what are these charges for and was told I ordered it with the free order. I told her I did not. She said if I would have read the terms and conditions it is in there. They gave me an RMA number to return the second bottle that was sent and I could get half of my money back.

I returned it to them and now they say they did not receive it. Now they have their product back and $172.84. They also have 6,500 complaints with the BBB. My bank had reversed charges and now they took the money back again. Chase did not inform me of there final outcome. They just adjusted it out of my account and returned the check for my house payment and charged me an additional $33.00.

I lost $172.84 and now I don't even have the product. It was returned to them to sell to someone else. My house payment bounced and lost another $33.00 for the return check.

I took advantage of an offer for a free trial of Acai Berry detox. In about 3 weeks, I received another bottle. I called the company, and told them I did not want this. They cancelled my subscription, and I mailed the product back to them. I received confirmation through the USPS that they received the product on December 14, 2009. They took the amount of $86.42 out of my checking account on November 12, 2009 for this product. I was told in December, that this would be refunded quickly. I called again in January, and they told me I could not be refunded, because the money was never taken out of my account. I faxed them over my bank statement on January 14, and they said that my refund would be processed. I am still waiting for the money.

We received a 'free' sample of the product, then another sample, and then a $79.00 bill, then another sample. We only requested one for free, now we're getting bills and the products keep coming! Unfortunately, this happened before with another company and my husband thought it would be 'safe' this time. Stay away from all these guys! We can't afford to pay this and won't. My husband had brain cancer surgery last year and we're still battling the effects of that!

They used my bank card without my permission and took 79.00 dollars out of my bank account on December 11th 2009. I have been calling and gotten nowhere with these people but a runaround. They kept telling me that in 7-10 days, I'll get my refund but so far haven't got one. I never gave these people the okay to use my number and I don't even know how they got my name, address or bank card number.

They made my bank account overdraw and cost me more money on many of my bills which cost me overdraft charges on my bank account.

I ordered a bottle of Acai Berry Pills on December 24, 2009, to lose weight. The trial offer was for $1.95. I saw the charge in my bank account for that amount and received the product, almost at the same time (3-5 days). I called to cancel that membership, because those pills make me sick (nausea, headache). That was before the trial period ends. I have to wait over an hour, in order to get help. They said that they don't have any of my records, so I can't cancel that membership. My bank statement shows their phone number in their charge, so I know this is the right company I called.

Currently, I have a extra charge for $83.95, which shouldn't have been charged. My bank is charging me an overdraft fee for $39 because of the Acai Berry Company charge. I used so much time trying to communicate to these guys, without any success. The last time I called, they put on me hold for over an hour, until I figure they didn't want to talk about my case.

I responded to an ad for Acai Fresh and I quote "Try Acai Fresh absolutely free, just pay a small shipping and handling fee. Your credit card will be charged only $7.95 for shipping & handling for a 1 month supply of Acai Fresh." The company sent me 2 bottles of Acai Fresh and said if I didn't like the free trial to send back the unopened bottle and I won't be charged. Unfortunately I could not use the product but I didn't have the time to send the unopened bottle back and just accepted the $39.95 charge for the 2nd bottle.

The following month I got an additional $39.95 charge on my credit card and when I called them to find out why, Luke was very very smug with me and said that I needed to also pay for the first bottle also. I said, "No." The add stated try AcaiFresh absolutely free, just pay a small shipping and handling fee. He plainly said, "No, that's not how it works and this was explained to you when you cancelled the automatic shipments." I said, "No, it was not" and he proceeded to get very nasty with me. Please understand, I am not the type to argue a situation if I'm wrong but blatantly rude customer service on top of false advertising really ticks me off. And this is false advertising, don't you think?

I tried Acai XS free trial offer and cancelled it. Two months later, I received three mysterious charges of $29.95 to my account from a company called "MyTrainer," "MyHealthyHub" and "HubHealthy." I would like to join class action lawsuit.

I ordered the product on November 2, 2009. Received the product on November 7, 2009. According to the information, I had 15 days after receipt if I was not satisfied. On the 18th, I attempted to call to receive a refund and a return authorization as the advertisement stated. The product capitalized on my desire lose weight with a quick fix.

The date that I called to cancel, the computer system was allegedly down and the telephone representative that I spoke with took my name and number and was supposed to call me back as soon as the system was back up. So, after not hearing from anyone, I sent an email on the 20th of November. Granted, it was after the 15 days from the date that they had shipped (which is the time that they were counting). They received the email on the 22nd and basically told me there were no way that I could receive a refund because it was greater than 15 days and they would not bill me again.

Okay, fair enough. I was naive and taken advantage. I was alarmed because I started receiving charges on my card for things that I did not realize that I had signed up for and had not used. I was able to call the other companies and receive the credits. However, in calling the 1-888- number again. Tristan informed me that they had not record of my call on the 18th of November and I could not receive any kind of a refund. Nor, would I get any credit for the 24.95 that was charged for the support line.

After speaking with Tristan for several minutes, his threatening to hang up on me because there was nothing that he could do for me. He couldn't transfer to his supervisor because he was busy on the line as well. Tristan finally took my name and number so that his supervisor could call me back. Needless to say, I never heard from him or his supervisor. According to the information for return, I should have been able to at least receive store credit if my return was greater than 15 days.

I have completed additional research about Acai, and apparently 1000 mg daily dosage is recommended for maximum results in reducing cravings. The Certified Acai 100% only provides 900 mg. And, like most weigh loss products, it offers great results but delivers none. Loss of the 64.95 for the product plus 24.99 for a service I didn't use. Embarrassment because I had to make several calls at work in an open office forum where my co-workers were able to over hear my conversations.

Have contacted the Acai company via live chat and they keep telling me they have no idea of who "Diet-Partner" is. They are affiliated - there is so much blogg about the connection and the charges being put onto my credit card. It is not alot of money but would like to know how I can stop it. $6.87US All of the numbers have no answer, or no connection. Some bloggers say that the original company has shut down, so how could I keep being charged for a cmpany that doesn't operate any longer. I am going a bit nuts I am sure. I have a tracking number on my Credit Card statement, but prob best to call me for it, just in case as I am so reluctant to do ANYTHING with it anymore.

Can I get the bank to cancel the payments? or can I cancel the card? Stat Declaration to say I want to cancel this, but can not get in contact with anyone etc etc.... Thus allowing the bank to cancel this charge.

Please any help or point in the right direction would be appreciated.

This company was offering a free trail of Pure Acai Berry and Pure Cleanse Pro and stated that you only had to pay postage and packaging.
I agreed to this and gave my card details to pay for the postage which they deducted from my account. However on Saturday i went to the cash machine to get some money out to buy my son some nappies only to find my account was practically empty. I went straight home and looked on my internet banking and saw this company has taken 54 off me without my permission.

I was then forced to get a payday loan just to be able to put clean nappies on my son which absolutely devastated me. I have been researching this company online for the last 5 hours and have found no way of contacting them. Most of the websites just come up as, 'this website no longer exists. I found hundreds of complaints on forums from people like me who have fallen victim to this dispicable scam. They are saying that every month the company takes money off then for various things they have not ordered and even when they send them back they are still not getting refunded. They are also saying they have hour upon hour on phone to them trying to cancel their membership without any success!

Please help me get a refund and stop them taking further money off me. I am a single mum living in a private rented house with barely enough money to scrape by each month and i will also be unemployed by end of month. I have already contacted my bank and asked them to try and stop further payments been taken from me and also requested to have my card number changed.

This company called me several times claiming that they were ready to ship my order and were offering a special deal to go along with the order. I never placed an order with them. When I told them not to call me anymore, the person told me to calm down. I suspect that this is some type of scam and suggest that someone look into this.

I ordered a free trial bottle of acaiberry detox and agreed to pay $3.95 for shipping and handling. My credit card has been charged twice for shipping and handling and an additional $79.95 twice in a 11 day period. When I call the 866 number I am told they can only refund ONE $79.95 charge. Even when I called and cancelled within a 14 day trial period - it clearly states you may cancel "for any reason" they still refuse to credit my account for the second $79.95.

Went into the trial-free offer
Contacted rep.
Rep: gave me extra days to test trial offer...never was there discussed an extra charge associated with the account.

I thought this was an extra fee for shipping, not another account that I would have to pay an extra fee to accommodate my existing account thru AcaiBerry???

I was then charged for my trial period with two seperate billings, plus another charge for the last bottle sent to me. I then canceled my existing account thru them:
(thus fulfilling my contract, trial offer, plus one)

and thus was charged another charge, associated with this website:

They did not offer a full telephone number thart we could contact their department. I did some investigating and found the first charge of $1.95 and contacted their telephone number associated with this charge. I originally that this charge was due to a shipping account fee associated with Acaiberry, thus did not recommend futher account authority concerning the charge. As, I declined my account with AcaiBerry, and questioned their charge process, I futhered noticed their fraudualant account access. Please look into this website.

If I owe due to this transaction, so be it! But, I feel it neccessary that all consumers should be notified upon their trial offer that there will be extra trial offer expenses incurred with no explanation options thus explained with futher research of their product. No excuse for their so-called charitable offer (so-called free offer try-out).

I ordered a "risk free trial" of Acai Pure weight loss product on the internet. I recd. first bottle and called them & told them not to send any more well about 1 week went by and I rec. 2 more products in the mail I called and said I did not order these and they talked me in to keeping them and said if you do not like it send it back .Well I decided to cancel my card so they couldnt ship me anything else .So several months go by and I start recieving all these harrassing e mails saying I owe all this money way more than the products cost because they put all these penaltys on there! Then they started calling my home phone number & leaving threatining messages such as if you do not pay this by this date your bill will go from 171.00 to 450.00 !!

I saw an advertisement for this product that pop up when I read an article on someone who lost 30lbs in just 30 days. To the side was this advertisement of Acai Berry. I clicked on it to see a free trail for 30days. They had a stop watch time set for only 4 minutes to order so I could get the free trail and the clock was ticking fast. I ordered the free trail.

I called back to see if I would receive another product that was next to it and a Representative told me that they had no affliation with that product. The reason why I called about the other product was that I read if you don't cancel within the 14days you would be charged the full amount which I think it read $90.00. I then asked to Representative of Acia Berry Tropic do they have the same agreement he told me that they are promoting the free trail which I only be charged $1.95 for shipping cost.

The next day I called back because it didn't set with me well, after reading the other product which was so close to Acai Berry Tropic. I spoke to the Customer Care Rep and was told a different story. This time it was a lady and she stated that I would be charged the full amount if I didn't cancel within 14days. I then request my order to be cancelled. She stated that she will put in a cancellation request for my membership.

I order the product on September 10, 2009 and cancel the next day on Sept 11, 2009 but my cancellation confirmation stated as of Sept. 16, 2009 your monthly membership has been sucessfully canceled. I asked if I were going to be charged for shipping and the Representative told me that the order will not go out. However my bankcard was charged $88.64 plus $1.95 and other charges. I called and spoke to a supervisor Alex M. who stated that my account should not have been charged. Only way it would have been if I didn't call to cancel my order within the 14days. He also stated that I cancel well ahead of the 14 days. He stated that he would send a request to the shipping/refund department so that my money would be placed back into my account.

I called back two days later spoke to Izzie Bradshaw who stated that they saw the cancellation and no order showed to be shipped to my home address. However a few weeks later I received a package for Acai Berry Tropic. I called and stated that I received the package, the representative told me to send it back, he gave a number to me to write on the package. Which was my customer id number. I never opened it I took it to the post office to send it back with a delivery confirmation receipt.

I called back a few weeks later and spoke to another Rep and Supervisor who stated that if I didn't put a RMA number on it I would not receive a refund. I asked what was a RMA number and he stated that he could not give that number to me. I stated that him that I put a number on the package and Postal ticket but wasn't for sure if that's the RMA number. I asked him again what is a RMA number and he told me that he couldn't give that number. I stated to him that my customer id number was on the package and he then told me he would sent an email to the refund department.

I did advised him that Acai Berry Tropic received the package on October 20, 2009 at 11:17 per US Postal Track and Confirmation. He stated that he will forward a request to refund/shipping department. I called back to see what was a RMA number and was told that the RMA is the same number as my Customer ID number. I told the representative that was the number I wrote on the package. I asked her why didn't the supervisor state that. She told me that they are not allowed to give the RMA number once customer send package back. I stated to her if I told him my customer id number he could have confirmed that's the number they would need.

I called today to request the status of my refund and spoke to the Manager Kristy P. which she stated that she see an email sent to the refund department on 10-22-09. And I should wait to see if I followed the terms and agreement in order to receive a refund. I advised her also that my bank account should not have been charged the full amount of $88.64 in the first place.

This has taken a toll on me, because I had just start back working and was trying to catch up on my bills. I had to borrow money in order to keep my lights on because the money Acai Berry Tropic took was already accounted for. Also I had to spend alot of time at work on the phone trying to get my money back from this company. And now I'm unemployed in which this played a big part due to my unemployment.

I HAD HEARD ALOT ABOUT A PRODUCT ACAI BERRY, I SENT AWAY FOR A BOTTLE, I PAID SHIPPING, a month later I was charged 253.00 dollars for a product that was never shipped, I spoke to rosie who explained there were no refunds, funny doesnt sound like a legitement company,

I have since filed a complaint and no how fradulent this company is when there is no supervisor to speak to and the majority of people speak broken english. There email address is incline.health.com. This company needs to be stopped, there was nothing stating any charges would be charged to your account, but there is a statement now, this seems so wrong in so many ways. IT MADE THINGS IN MY ACCOUNT BOUNCE AT 33.00 A CHECK

i ordered a free trial on acaiberry detox and probiotic cleanse for $.99 each for shipping and handeling. i was told from someone else i knew in florence id better cancel it or they would start taking money out of my account. so i called on Oct. 11th at 8pm and canceled my account and i have confirmation numbers for each bottle. i was told by the lady i talked to that nothing else would be taken out of my account and nothing else would be sent to me. well i got on the computer Oct 16th to look at my checking account and $79.95 was taken out 2 times. so i called and i was told i would have to send the bottle back to get my money back. which i wasn't told on the 12th. this time the same lady but used a different name claimed that the money was removed because i didn't call within so many days, which it didn't say on the site and they didn't tell me that on the 12th. so i asked to speak to the supervisor ... so the supervisor gets on the phone and once again its the same lady trying to disguise her voice but i kept her on the phone long enough that she couldn't keep it disguised! i don't know what to do about this. if someone can help, will you please contact me at the telephone numbers above!!! it would be very much appreciated!

On July 4, 2009 I ordered a trial bottle of Acai tablets over the internet. My Discover Card was charged $5.95 and I received the bottle. I thought this was a great deal for the price. To my surprse my Discover Card was charged $64.95 for as they stated the complete price of the trial bottle.

On July 24, 2009 my Discover Card was charged $24.95 for a membership fee, which I never agreed to join. On August 7, 2009 my Discover Card was charged $74.90 for a second bottle of Acai tablets which I did not order but I did receive them. On August 24, 2009 my Discover Card was charged $24.95 for a second membership fee, which I never agreed to join. On September 7, 2009 my Discover Card was charged $74.90 for a third bottle of Acai tablets which I did not order but I did receive.

On September 23, 2009 my Discover Card was charged $24.95 for a third membership fee, which I never agreed to join. I have called the Acai Advanced people to request they stop sending their product, to send back the two unwanted bottles of their Acai tablets and to cancel any memberships they have in my name. I was told by Acai's telephone operators that I could not send any of the product back and that they would not issue any credit to my Discover Card. I have not been able to stop them from shipping and charging.

I feel that this is ripping me off. I only wanted to try the inital bottle of their Acai tablets. I did not read nor did the internet ad state that they would send a bottle every month, charge my Discover Card $74.90 and also that I would be enrolled in their membership plan for $24.95 each month. Help me please. I need them to stop sending their product and stop charging my Discover Card. I want to send unopened products back to them and I want a full refund for all product and membership fees that I did not request.

The total refund amount I want to be put on my Discover Card from Acai is $289.60. Thank you for assisting me and the rest of the individuals that have been ripped off by this company. I have called several times to no avail. I did take some of the Acai tablets out of the first trial bottle, but found that it made my stomach and intestines hurt so bad I was unable to eat.

life berry was advertising for a trial diet supplement call Acai berry detox and Life cleanse. However, they never sent the trial size, but they debited my account for $88.00 twice, totaling $176.00. This company is a rip off. My account is now closed and I had to go to the bank to speak with the manager to explain the situation to him. He was nice enough to take off the overdraft charges. Nevertheless, I am still responsible for those charges. I am on a fixed income and this really set me back.

Recently, like many visitors to this site I submitted a complaint regarding a 14 day free trial for the diet pill Aci-berri. I purchased the pills from a distributor in Hollywood, FL. After I cancelled membership in the auto ship program, the company charged my account and did not ship the items.

I want to let readers know I filed a complaint against the company with the Better Business Bureau of North Central Florida and within two - three weeks I had a full refund of the amount debited from my account. I want to give cudos to the Better Business Bureau, they responded immediately to my complaint, were very professional and got the results I wanted.

This is another Free Sample scam. No where in the internet ad was I made aware of any full charges (just a small charge for shipping the "Free Sample"). Now they are charging my credit card the full amount of $79.95

my husband ordered this product and it was a free trial. he would only pay for shipping and handeling. they sent the free sample and then charged us over 80.00 for it on our credit card. my husband called and wanted our money back and they refused. what a scam. we on a a budget and cannot afford what they did. it set us back on food and bills.

Ordered 2 products online: Max Acai Boost, ColenZen on 8/4/09 for free trial (ex S+H). Never received Max Acai Boost, got a bottle of ColonZen on 8/12/09 (although order was scheduled to arrive on 8/8/09). Called and talked to rep. :Archanghel on 8/21/09 and had accounts cancelled and gave reasons.

Went on vacation until 9/22/09. $86.42 and $87.13 and ($79.95+3.95) were charged on my credit card for the products. Called on 9/24/09 rep. Allen, promised to refund $86.42 since no Max Acai Boost was received. Just sent back the second bottle of ColenZen for a future refund of ($79.95+3.95), (also a foreigh transaction fee of $7.70 was also charged on my credit card). But will not refund the first bottle of ColenZen since the "trial period was 15 days".

Went into "terms and conditions" and it clearly stated that the "trial period is 19 days". Called and talked to supervisor Nathan on 9/25/09, he said the terms and conditions was changed to 19 days only after Sept 1, 09. makes me feel "cheated", being charged for $87.13 for "nothing" and had to paid postage to send back something that I never authorized.

On 8/24/09 I ordered a product from the internet from a company that im not sure now what their name is there have been two different charges with two different names on my checking account. and one that never went through with another name. I never got the product I ordered and have tried many many times to call the three numbers that I have associated with the charges. But only get to listen to bad static music and then the line goes dead.

I finnaly got through to some one today 9/16/09 to find out where the product I ordered is and to ask about a $141.09 charge on my account. I was told that when I ordered the product It inrolled me into a auto ship program I stated that I have tried to call every day for the last two weeks to find out if it was an aout ship and if it was I wanted it stopped I was told that after I ordered the product I had 10 days to cancel to avoid any charges and that they would not give me a refund for a product that I have never gotten. I told them that I had been calling with no answer and that I had 3 differnt numbers and names for that company

at that point I was hung up on not once but three times. I have looked at the BBB and found that there are many compaints against this company with no resolution and that the company has been known by many different names and addresses. I am now out $147.00 and an over draft fee to my checking account. I am out 146.00 from this company and a 25 dollar over draft fee from my bank. many hours spent sitting on hold only to have the line go dead.

I responded to a "Free Trial" for Acai Berry and Colon Cleanse for $.99 for shipping on each. My credit card was billed for $39.95 (1) time and $87.13 2X for a total of almost $200. within a week from the date I had ordered the Trial. I tried to call the number and the message said that I had to go to the web site "myordersupport.com". I canceled the future orders and when I contacted the customer service department I was informed to fax a copy of disputed charged to a toll free number which fax never was shown to go through "busy". I contacted my credit card and advised them of the unauthorized charges. This company is located in Cyprus Greece and they charged an internation servcie assessment free on each amount. I contacted the FTC and B.B. in Florida and finally got my refund with no further phone calls from the company. This product was advertized on Winamp radio. The name of the company for credit card charges is Health-Cleanse and Ultimathealth Cleanse.

I agree with all of the complaints on this site. this product is worthless and the company is a complete scam. I ordered the product for a 14 day free trial initially my account was debited as it stated for shipping and handling only.

Today I checked my bank account only to discover this company has charged two orders of Aciberri @ 79.95 each to my accounty and 2 orders of the hydrocleanse @ 79.95. Both of these charges occured after I cancelled the order and received a confirmation number.

I immediately called the company told them I had not received the order and would be returning them. I was given a Return merchandise authorization number and was told a refund will be issued when the items are returned.

After reading the post on this site I have no confidence I will get my money. I plan to file a complaint with the Florida Division of Consumer Affairs.

Placed an order for their product, recived the item used it and did not like it. 1 month later they debited my account for another order 90.67 i did not place another order. I called and was told in fine print I agreed to monthley orders. I told them I was going to refuse the order when it came and I do not want any more sent and that I wanted my 90.67 credited back to me. They said they would not send the order and would return my 90.67. that was on 8-20-09 i was told it would be 5 working days. I called again and was told the same thing. I called again today 9-11-09 and was told the same thing again. I want my money back. The product does not work either.

This business states on website a free trial of Acai Berry and only pay shipping and handling. Not only did I pay shipping and handling but the full cost of the produt. Total of $87.79 as of 7/25/09. Then on 8/25/09 without my consent or approval they billed me for a total of 87.79 shipping, handling, international fee and cost of product. I did not request this item nor can I use this item. Followed the pamplet guidelines and brought product to my Physician. He told me to not to use it and return it. I did not approve to be billed for a second bottle of this product.

As with other people I did not know of the 14 days trial before cancelling I was apalled at the $83 charged twice on my account I called the toll free number and was told basically too bad I could not get a refund I ordered the colon cleanser too I did not see anywhere in the add stating I had to call in 14 days I have not opened the Acai Berry Do I have any recourse on this?

On 7/25/09 I ordered Acai Berry Blast, a diet supplement from an ad on the internet. They said they were endorsed by Oprah and Dr. Oz. I ordered a trial sample and the ad said that if I didn't like it, just cancel before the end of the 15 day trial.

On 7/27/09 a charged for $.99 from Naturecleanse appeared on the charge card. I thought the sample would arrive in a day or two. No sample arrived. Then on 7/27/09 a box another charge appeared on my card for $82.31 from Detoxidant CYP- still no trial sample even.

Then on August 14, 2009,after the trial period is over, I receive a box from them. At this point I knew I didn't not want this product because they had charged my account $83.30 now and I haven't tried anything. I didn't even want to open the box and then have them say I accepted it. I wrote on the box "refused, return to sender" and put it back in the mail.

Then on 8/15 tried to call. Couldn't get anyone to answer. Called my credit card to dispute the charge on August 21. All they did was put me on hold with the company. I finally spoke to Gail who told me that because I didn't put a RMA number on the box I would not receive a refund.

I didn't know I had to put a RMA number on the box. I didn't even open the box because I didn't want them to say I accepted it. My credit card company also will not dispute the charge because I didn't put an RMA number on the box. So, I said to the company "Return the box to me". They refuse to do that also.

Signed up on acai-advanced.com for a free trial membership, was okay with the charge of $5.95 for S&H. Overlooked and don't recall a pop up stating I was signing up for a membership with Acai where I would receive shipments every 30 days as well as a membership with Live Lean for Life that I was charged $24.95 (UNAUTHORIZED). I didn't know I had a 15 day trial period to cancel until I get an unexpected shipment in the mail which was a new bottle of the Acai Advanced.

I call to see if I can return the unopened bottle for a refund and to cancel. They were more than happy to cancel the membership but wouldn't budge on the refund. I still have the unopened merchandise and would just like to return it for a full refund of $64.95 and a refund of the $24.95 from Live Lean for Life that I wasn't aware of until I started reading online about how this has happened repeatedly to consumers. I checked my credit card statement and sure enough I found that charge. When I called the company to request a refund, I asked to speak with management and they put me through to voicemail and my call was never returned. They are very unhelpful.

On the 1st of August I saw an advert on MSN for a free months trial for Acai Berry. all you had to pay was for postage. I sent of for them and paid for postage on my card. I have not recieved anything and yet they have taken 73.73 pence out of my account without my authorisation can you help. thank you

i got a product from this company as "free trial" about two weeks ago paying only $1.95 for shipping it was advertise with by this rachel rays ,so i though it was something good , the thing is that i took one table and i got dizzie , because it has caffeine and made me sick, besides they charge me $65.95 for that "free bottle" after a the 14 day trial , i tried to get a phone number on the web site and the shipping slip i got so i couldn't cancel this order before , and they dont want to give me my money back , also on the ripped off page i saw a lot of complains from people that was also scammed from these people , what can i do????

I ordered 4 bottles of the Acai Berry Detox for members in my household and then my parents saw on the news that it was a scam. I called and spoke with Operator #070 "Mitch" and cancled my order so they said they'd only charge me the .99 shipping and I wouldn't receive any following shipments (which I didn't realize would have been sent to me unless I cancelled). I received the 4 bottles and started taking them.

I have been ill with some virus so I'm not certain if it's these pills or not but I'm very jittery and have had vomiting/diarreah and again, not certain if this is from supplements or not. The strangest thing is that I keep getting these stabbing pains in the back of my head. I suffer from migraines and this is not that feeling, it is a strange stabbing that comes and goes on the left side of the back of my head.

I called them back today 8/17/09 and spoke to Operator #181 Cassy. After 20 minutes on hold she came on. I told her I thought I was having side effects and she told me I needed to ask my Dr. I told her I wanted to know if other clients were calling in w/similar symptoms and she kept saying she's not a Dr and couldn't answer that question. I asked for her supervisor and she hung up on me!

On the bottle it says "to report a serious adverse reaction call 866- and she hung up on me! I also went on to the Oprah website where it states that she nor Dr. Oz endorse this product as the Acai Berry Detox people claim they do. I'm not certain what to do, but I have a strong suspicion something dishonest is going on here.

purchased a free trial supply of the ACAI berry detox and was requested to pay shipping of .99. I gave my credit card information and closed out the transaction expecting to get the product. A few days later I got a call from a fast talking gentleman telling me that I won a free trip to Cancun Mexico and was going to be sent the colon cleanse for I beleive he stated 69.00. I stopped him and told him he was not going to fast talk me into something and that I did not want anything other than the free detox for the .99 and that no other charges were to be placed on my account.

He hung up on me at that time and about a week later we see a charge for 87.42. on our checking account and upon calling the number I was informed by Christine that their policy is that when you order the free bottle your card is help open for 15 days and that you are enrolled in an automatic shipment program. I told her that I did not authorize that nor did it say that on the website used to order the free bottle. I went back to the site and no where on any of the forms that you complete does it state that you will be automatically enrolled in such a plan.

On their 30 day money back guarantee it does state that if you don't return the portion and/or call within that 30 day window you will be enrolled in something for 19.99. I don't remember the exact wording. I have not even received the product. Christine stated that when I get the product that I am being charged for I could return it and then be refunded. I told her no that wasn't happening that they had fraudulently charged my account and I wanted my money back now.

I asked to speak to her supervisor or a manager and she refused to do so stating that she was the last person I could speak with. She did state that I could call back and ask to speak with someone else, but when I tried calling back the number would keep going to a hang up. I would like to see scamming companies like this put out of business. I have turned this over to my bank as Fraud because I never agreed to have anything sent to me or be charged to me other than the .99 for the one product ordered that I have not received. The economic damage is that this money was falsely removed from our checking account and that could have caused great problems had we had charges or checks to bounce.

On March 30, 2009 I ordered some Acai Berry for a trial of approx. $5 with the usual 30-day cancellation policy. I sent a cancellation email on April 14. I am now being bombarded with phone calls from 3 different phone numbers several times a day.

I called and spoke with Dave and he explained they are going to SUE me if I don't pay them the $80 for the empty bottles! It took me a week to get through, so I'm sure I'm not the only person they've scammed this way. My phone is ringing all day, everyday, and the threats of a lawsuit could ruin the refinancing on our house!

I received an email and ordered a free trial. I thought I ready it carefully and also had someone else read it. Now they are charging me for the 30 day free trial and says I should go to web site to see there terms and conditions which obviously was not in the original email

I order trial size and found out on the web this company charges the card for extra product which in fact happened. In the mean time I have cancell and changed that card. I was charged 83.00 without my consent. I do have a copy of the first bill and on the bottom there is adress. Information Tech Systems Ltd. 4 Charlesford, Kingswood, Maidsonte, Kent, United Kingdom

Free trial offer! Pay for shipping only @ $4.95. I was charged $74.94. Per two web-sites the noted address of the company does not exist.

They emailed me and said 14day trail for $14.90 and they took out of my account $73.66. I rang them after they didn't reply to my email and they said the difference in US money to Australia this is not how my email read it didn't have US after it at all I want my $58.76 difference back in my account they had no rights to take that much out. Can something be done.

I was checking out the claims of Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray & Dr Oz on the internet about those "Wonderful" Acai berries and filled out a little of the form including my phone number. When the price came up for a FREE bottle of the stuff I backed out and erased my information as I realized it was a trap.

Within an hour someone called from an unknown number and DEMANDED I order the stuff. When I refused and told her to not call me again her words were "I will continue to call till you order the product." I told her I would report them to the Dont call list and BBB. To leave me alone.

My Free (except for $5.95 shipping/handling) bottle of Acai ended up costing me $95.85. My fault. I didn't read the Terms & Conditions.

I received an email about this site for a "Try it FREE* Limited Time Offer" to get a bottle of Acai for a shipping charge of $5.95. You've heard it before, but READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS if you think it is free!!!

Acai Advanced is a NEGATIVE OPTION product! This means that if you do not cancel in the time period given, your "free" bottle of Acai costs you $64.95 and your "FREE gift pass to LiveLeanForLife Weight Loss Management Plan" costs you $24.95. And you don't get your $5.95 S&H back. AND you have 20 days from the PURCHASE date to decide not the date you receive it. Which gives you about 10 days.

I found this out after having these charges so up on my account. I called to cancel but, guess what. TOO LATE!

Here's what I missed by not paying attention:

Unauthorized charges for add'l product not ordered. Tried calling but only get recording. This is a total scam and I haven't used the product that I originally ordered FREE due to uncertainty of it's safeness. I want to see these guys in court!!!

This onoine company which I accessed through a link is very snaeky. i ordered the sample of acai and kept looking for hidden requirements, but found none. I printed out the page that showed my order, but no recept showed up and it sent me to another web site. I tried to refind the same page and couldn't. The free sample is good for 15 days. The trick is the 15 days ends usually before you get the produt. i ordered July 8th, The product was shipped July 17th and July 22nd is my cancel order date.

f you don't cancel by 15 days you pay the full price of 87.00 or something. This was not seen anywhere when I went to the web site, but because i couldn't print out a receipt I cancelled my credit card and somebody, luckily called me to welcome me to this team, and that phone number was 559-. This whole operation of advertising for ACAI at a really reduced rate is bogus, because you don't get to test the sample to see if you like it and the 15 day trial starts the day you order.

They should be required to state in large print their specifics, which should say. If you order this sample for 3.99 you have 15 days from the day you order it to cancel or we will actually charge you 87.00. It's a trick to get you to try it. Thank-you for your time. How many people thought they were getting a trial for 3.97 only to find their card was charged over 87.00 because the information they sent was misleading.

I have called back in May to cancel this product. My credit card has been charged for the last 2 months after i have cancelled product. I would like to be refunded for the last 2 month that i've been charged. I have already contacted my my bank to make sure that you cannot charge my account for something that i have canceled a while ago. Please fix this immediately. Thank you..

On January I decided this weight loss pill, with a trial period they had on the internet. I tried this product and didn't like to results, acai burn has a policy to refund the money if you send back the unused portion back. I returned the pills back on February 10, ever since I been calling numerous amount of time is now July 9 and till this day I have not received my refund not only they send my credit card without my authorization to other merchants. Every time I call they say within 5-7 days and it never happens.

They advertised a 15 day trial free product and did not give me 15 days to try the product. It took them 15 days to get the product to my home and they advertise money back garrentee. I called and asked for my money back and they said I have passed the 15 day money back garrentee. I haven't had the product for 15 days. I have only had the product for 7 days. My neighbor down the street tried the same product and is going through the same thing and she received her product within 14 days and they charged her 6 days later for the product. There is no 15 day trial period. This company must be stopped. There must be a way to get our money back.

We ordered a risk free trial of two items on was colon cleanser and acai advanced weight loss pills. They advertise you can try it for 15 days and if not satisfied money back garrentee. Well they take 14 days to get it to your home and they start their 15 days from the time you order it. Where is the 15 day free trial period, there is not, then five days later they take 24.95 and you think you still have time to try the product but you can't and when I talked to Patrica and Bill they refuse to give the money back, so we are out of 24.95 and not to mention they cost me to bounce a check which is a 30.00 fee. I just want my 24.95 back and I want them put out of business.

Ordered a FREE bottle of Acai Berry Suppliments. only mentioned charges for shipping. I re-read the original offer and NO where does it state that you will have $82.00 charges deducted from your account...or that you are signing up for some type of program.

There are warnings of this type of SCAM on the internet but the scam warning is actually generated by above business - sating this (above business) was a reputable one.

I order a free trial of this product and later was billed 83.95 I only wanted to try it. It claims to make you loss weight but it does nothing. I call talked with a person at this company who told me that it had a 14 day trial for the product. When I ordered It was not showen any where about the 14 day period. I called to get this removed from my credit card and could not get it removed. I just want my complant known because first their ad do not do want it say's. I feel I was billed this amount because I did not order 127.00 amount of this product. And it need to be told on the TV Ad that you must call within the 14 days in order not to be billed.

Ordered AcaiBerry Detox for the free trial. You have to cancel within 14 days of the ORDER DATE not when received. Luckily I did, but after I received and was charged for another product called Life Cleanse that I DID NOT authorize to order. They actually used my credit card account 2 days after I ordered the acai to charge me for that which I NEVER ORDERED! I was so upset an called to cancel everything and they kept saying it was a cross-promotion that I ordered. I never ordered it and even the receipt I printed the day I placed the acai order has NOTHING on it that they would order this other thing.

I got no where with the people and spoke to ALma and then her supervisor. They gave me a RMA number and said the 39.99 they charged me would be refunded when they got the bottle back. But I don't believe it now that I have read this has happened to others and the keep charging. I am just going to call my credit card company tomorrow and explain everything and change my number so they can't charge me anymore. What a scam. I hope they stop all these companies!

Signed up for FREE trial of product, Acai Berry Breeze, just pay $4.95 shipping.
Fine print says if you don't cancel in 14 days they will charge you $84.95, which they did.
However, fine print also says "RISK FREE 30-day Money back Guarantee". It has not been 30 days but they refuse to refund my money. They told me shipping the product back to them will not entitle me to a refund.

They are not honoring their own terms. I want my money back, I am not satisfied.

Sometime in April 2009 I went online in search of weight loss products. I came upon the web site of Acai Advanced (also Acai Berry, com). There was a free trial offer for 14 days where the customer only pays for shipping. I ordered the trial bottle which took approx 2-1/2 weeks for delivery. ( I also had to give the company my mastercard # when I filled out the online form for the trial bottle).

During this time, it was discovered that I have a very serious health issue for which I am still seeing specialists. I began undergoing alot of tests, including biopsies. Due to the stressful nature of my illness, I totally forgot to return the unused portion of the Acai bottle (I only used one capsule) I did not want to take any medications, including OTC medications, that were not prescribed by my physicians.

Around mid-May I went online to my mastercard web site to make a payment and noticed that I had been charged $24.95 for the trial bottle (because I didn't return the unused portion after the 14 day trial period), plus, there were 3 additional charges as follows for products I DID NOT order. May 12 - $64.95 - Acai Advanced, May 14 - 24.95 - Live Lean, May 27 - 74.90 - ACAI Advanced. Total: $164.80. I called the company on May 29, and discussed the problem and told them to cancel my account. They gave me an authorization # to return the trial bottle which I sent back as instructed to the GLF address. I was also told, when I inquired as to what GLF was, that it was a person's initials.

I was told that the 2nd bottle was already sent out, and I was given a cancellation #: 531747 to return the bottle when I received it. Which I returned.

I have been given credit on my MC acct for $24.95 for the trial bottle, plus $64.95 for the 2nd bottle. They still have not removed the $74.90 and my acct has been cancelled since May 29, '09. I have sent them two letters briefly explaining my illness and requesting that they credit my acct for the remaining $74.90, but they have ignored my requests and I am still being charged despite that I have cancelled the account, and I have not received anymore merchandise. I hope you can assist me in resolving this problem. Thank you.

I Puchased a trial offer good for 14 days on 6/14/2009. consumer has 14 days to cancel with no obligation. I have been trying since 6/21/2009 to cancel with no response to phone calls or emails. I have gone to the expense of sending written notice with delivery confirmation sent on 6/22/2009. all of my attempts are within the legal cancellation limit. This could result in fraudulent charges on my bank card of 74.94 per month. they refuse to give any sort of confirmation

i signed up for free bottle of Acaiberry on 11/07/08. Cost was $5.95.I recieved the bottle and after a few doses got sick. So did not take. Heard nothing from company at that time. To get the "free' sample there were no terms and conditions. in Dec of 2009 we relocated to Medford,Or. to be closer to family because of medical issues. After the move and getting back on track from my husband being hospitalized I got online banking and found out that Acaiberry had been taking out $85.90 every month.

I went online to get a phone number for them and proceeded to call and cancel. I was put off and told by one of their operators that I could not cancel. the lady would not put me though to anyone else. The next day I called back and insisted to talk to perhaps a person in charge. They put me to "Rose". she did not want to hear that I had not received any products except for the "free" one. that conversation did not go well. The next day I called Rose back and told her again that I wanted to cancel and monies back or product. She said she would cancel my account that day but no money and no product. The very next day there was a charge taken out for $85.90. I canceled my bank card and had a new one issued. So I got them out of my account but the problem got worst when I got the bank involved. (Bank of America). The bank put on a chargeback credit.

After 3 months of filling out forms and talking to people with BofA who know nothing I am charged $171.80 (for product I never received) plus $140 for non-sufficient funds fee plus a fee of $2.58 for Foreign Currency Adjustment Fee. What is this! This Company, I thought was stationed in the US. In Texas.
I want this Acaiberry maxx checked out and my $$$ back from them. A few things were charged on overdraft from this problem. Not fair to us.

Acaiberr told the Bank that the bank had no right giving a chargeback to me before they contacted them and therefore a credit was denied. Plus they said I cancelled online. It was on the phone with Rose when I cancelled.

When the Dispute Resolution Services contacted me with the END results I called and was told to go to bank and fax a letter why I did not except solution. I did that with in an hour of conversation and the next day called and was told no fax came in and so I went to the bank again and refaxed thought them. This morning the Dispute Resolution Service told bank employee that fax was never received. So the bank once again faxed the same papers. So now what happens?

free 15 day trial is a scam.they send u 30 days of pills then if u dont return the product in 15 days they charge full price chared my card on file overdrawed my account 64.49 dollars

I agreed to try the product Acai Fuel for 30 days after 18 days the company debited my checking acct for 80.00 and I never got another bottle since the trial bottle. I am on disability from social security I cannot afford to lose money like this.

saw an internet ad for a free trial of Acai Fuel Extreme and Cleanser (as seen on TV). Pay only shipping of 2.95 for a bottle of 60 tablets. The 15 day free trial offer was an opportunity to try this remarkable diet supplement for free (just pay shipping and handling).

What I did not see was the note regarding my credit card will be charged monthly 79.99 plus 6.95 shipping unless I call to cancel. I also was not aware that I was getting a "special bonus" of a free 21 day trial to Fit Factory and of course if I do not call to cancel I will automatically be billed 29.95 plus 1.17 shipping monthly to my credit card.

How can a company continue to bill you for product? That you thought you were trying for 15 days and the time has not even come up yet. Once they have your credit card number they are free to bill you as much as they please. They might as well steal my number and go crazy! Is there no regulation of products sold on the internet?

Apparently this company is out of the country and many individuals have been taken by their comeon. Please help the honest citizens. Due to this company charging my account the $79.99 has made me get an overdraft fee at my bank due to the company charging this fee.

I ordered a free trail of their product, no where was anything listed that you were entering into a Lifestyle program that was going to charge you for the initial bottle and ship monthly thereafter. I called to cancel immediatley and WAS TOLD I COULD NOT. That I would have to wait until it was shipped and then send it back.

This is a HUGE SCAM!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I order a free sample on-line for the cost of shipping. $3.95 Right before the product was shipped out I received a phone call from the company asking me if I wanted to receive and purchased the product. I made it very clear to the salesperson on the phone I was not interested in purchasing any product from them and didnot want any money taken from my account. The free sample bottle came to my house a couple of days after.

Assumming they understood completely from my phone card I discarded they product and thought no more of it. It came with no paper work except a customer serve slip saying to call if you didnot want the product. I had already received a call and made it very clear I didnot want it. On June the 6th the company took out 87.13 from my checking acct.

When I called them they said it was the price for the free sample. After informing the girl (karen) on the phone she said I should have called them to cancel the order. I informed her someone had called me and that was what I had done. She said they were selling more of the product not the free sample. I want my money back but she informed me it was up to the refund department. She refused to let me speak with anyone other than her self.

Since when do you pay for a free sample of a product. Please investicale them and inform me as to your findings. Thanks.

I orderd a free trial of acai X3 when I received the bottle there was no customer service number on the bottle or any contact information I was then charged 88.55 I went on line to try and find a number but still had no sucess the I received a package in the mail again no phone contact I searched again and found someone with the same prolbem put there tollfree number on the internet I called and spoke to rachel she told me to send back the pills tothis adress on it I did I have still not received a refund and I misplaced there phone number can you please help me

On 1/05/09 I ordered a trial size of Acaiberry and paid $3.95 on my debit card. On 1/26/09 they took an additional $87.13. I contacted them 3 times then was told I would receive a refund. I even recieved an email stating refund was issued. I closed my account when no refund was received. I contacted the BBB and no one answered or returned their calls. Original Complaint:

I am out $90.00 and would like a full refund. I had to change banks open new accounts get new credit cards.

I was on the internet looking for something and came across an ad for a free trail of this product for shipping and handling of $3.95. Not looking at the terms and conditions I found that if you did not respond in 15 days which started from the time you requested the product you would be charged $87.13. After I checked my bank balance I found the amount of menies stated tsken out of ny account.

I called was hung up on three times before someone talked to me. I stated that I had just received the product and thats when I was told about the 15 days in which I had to cancell the order. I know that I will not get my money back. But here is also something that made me complain about this product in order to get your money back you had to return the unuse portion of the pills back for a refund.

Now do I have pills that were return. Then if you did not have some insurance on the return this compnay still would not return your money if you could not prove they receive their product. I think that this should be reported because this is a unfair business practice. I know their is no laws grovering the internet. But the public should me made aware of these practices.

I have been trying to get these people to stop charging my bank account since February 2009. Around the end of January or beginning of February a package was delivered to my mailbox. I asked my husband to return it because I had not ordered anything and whatever it was, I was not interested.

Since he did not take it back to the post office right away, I decided to open the envelope to see if they had sent a return label or something like that. To my surprise what I found was an Order Summary indicating an Order Date of 12/30/2008. When I kept reading it stated that this was a Trial and I had 15 days including shipping and transit time to call them and cancel this order. If I did not call within those 15 days, they were going to charge me "the super low price of $88.62 plus $5.95 for shipping.

Also, that they would be billing me $94.57 monthly for a monthly supply of this product. I tried calling the number to explain I had not ordered this product and not to debit my account at all. Since the number was not a working number, I went to their website. This took me to a place on the internet which gave me 10 of 10,500 results for this website. I immediately knew some scam artist had accessed my bank account and were going to clean me out. I printed the information and ran to my bank.

I opened another account and transferred the money to that new account but because the bank needed to do an investigation and because I have direct payment with companies, I could not close the account. Although I since have informed all my lenders about the new account for some reason Wichovia tried debiting my son's student loan from that account and although I made sure there was at least $100.00 in the account to keep it open for the investigation and any other emergencies, on April 10th these people went back in and took $71.98.

I ordered a free 14 day trial of a product for $4.95 shipping. When I went to my account to check on the withdrawal, I found that this company had put a hold on $59.95 and the $4.95 of my money. When I contact this company, I was told that they reserved these funds incase if I canceled they were guarantying they get paid if I don't return the unused portion of the product.

That means that they I don't have access to my money for 3-4 weeks. This is not outlined in there agreement on anywhere else on their site. There was no mention of an advanced payment or that the puts a hold on any funds. My bank cannot reverse this until the funds until a request for withdrawal is made.

I purchased a trial offer for Acai Berry on line. Product did not help me and I cancel the product. Nobody mention anything about hiiden membership fees.
Recently I see charges on my credit card for $9.95 and $4.95. Apparently they are membership fees that I were not aware of. I called to cance and get refund. They are not giving me refund, stating that money are not refundable.

According Katy(rep) memberships are automatic.

We did not get any emails saying that we will be charged for this membership. I was charged for Acai Berry $59.95 and I did not feel any thing that company promisse in the website. I was charged for two unknown membership where I did not get any services for 3 months.

I was offer a free trial of Acai Fuel extreme which i had to pay only for shipping, now this people came and charged me $79.99 on my card for the product that it was suppose to be a free trial even after i had called to cancel any future shipment. The money will not be returned to my account even though it was not authorized to be charged in the first place.

i purchased the free trial of acaix3.i neeeded to cacel the product before they started to pull $88.95 out of my account monthly but there is no way to do so. They wont supply a phone number and the web site they offer "support@acaix3" is non responsive. there is no way out of them taking your money. please contact the news media because next to the terms and conditions there is a picture fox news like as if to show that they approve the product. Please look in to this. thank you. I cant afford to pay $88 a month for a product that doesnt work

I order to try online. I called withing 30 days and stayed online for 30min. I wrote them and sent back unused pills. No response. I tried calling again. I filed a complaint with my credit card company but since I have no name of someone that I spoke to and not written response from the company they put back all of the charges on my card since November @ $85.00 a month= $595.00 .I dont even recieve the product anymore but they still charge me every Month. Today I closed my credit card account which I have been using to rebuild my credit.

I have been charged almost $1000.00 from my bank account for the "Free Sample" Aciabutn, Acai Berry Detox, Ultra AcaiBerry, Ultraslim, and FWM.

I had been ill for a while and hadn't had the energy to do much of anything with bills let alone cancellations.

These people are committing fraud and nobody seems to care except all of the ones who are getting taken for a lot of money. I have read through several dozen complaints and people don't even get products, like me. I have 12 bottles sitting on my desk and for $1,000.00? What gives here.

I signed up for a free trial (30 day supply/14 day trial) only paying $4.99 for the shipping fee. I gave them my debit card number to take out for the shipping amount. When I recieved my bank statement I had been charged $79.96 for the supposively free 30 day supply, $2.97 to a Cost N Save company, and then charged $29.95 from Diet Cntrl for a on-line counselor. I called the company and the rep states that I agreed to these MONTHLY charges when I ordered the free trial bottle. She said that per the contract I needed to call the company within the 14 days and cancel the agreement in order not to have to pay the fees. I was unaware that this had to be done.

Looking again on the website I noticed a very small link (Terms and Conditions) that you would have had to click on to view that stated this. I quickly cancelled my contract. I was given three cancellation numbers for the three different fees that would be charged on my debit card. Only days after that I recieved another bottle of Natures Acai Berry capsules. The bill included stated in the discription of the item "Nature's Acai Berry Trial (gift).

I called the company again and spoke to another rep. He stated that the bottle was shipped prior to my cancellation so now I will be charged again for $85.13 by thier company. He stated that there will be no more charges to my checking account. When I asked why the bill stated the description of "gift", he just chuckled. I know that I am at fault for not finding and reading the fine print on this order but I still consider this a scam. There are so many people that would not have even known where to look for the "terms and conditions" even after being charged and calling.

I want you to be aware of the practices of this pharmaceutical company. Many customers are still being billed even after several cancellation attempts. My daughter experienced the same thing. Please help me and others to stop these scam artist. I have learned a hard lesson and I feel for those that truly can't pay these outrageous amounts monthly and could possibly cause serious financial issues. If the company continues to take the fees on a monthly basis($118) even after my cancellation, it could cause me to bounce checks.

I ordered a "free" trial bottle of Acai Berry and paid shipping and handling. Today I received another bottle and was charged $87.13 plus $3.95 S&H. I immediately called the complany and told them I did not order this product and wanted the charges taken off my credit card. They gave me a cancellation number and said I would receive an email with a number and when I return the product the charges would be taken off.

This whole scam is ripping off a lot of people.

I ordered a trial offer of their product. I decided to cancel the membership and went to their website to find canceling information. All they gave out is an email address to cancel. I emailed them on April 21 2009 to cancel. On May 6 they charged my account for over $50 for the next shipment. I searched all over the internet for their phone number and finally found it. I called and spoke with Jessica. She asked me to fax her the copy of the email I sent in April. I did just that. They still went through with charging my account.I have not heard anything from Jessica about the issue and have not received a refund. I also have not received any product. Which I would send back if it did arrive.

Use caution when buying a product called ACAI BERRY or Acaiberry online! You will see many ads on the internet about AcaiBerry and offering Free Samples or FREE TRIALS. What you don't see, is at the bottom of the page, often in the same color as the page itself {so you cannot see it} are the terms and conditions! You fill out the forms requesting a FREE Sample or FREE trial, and you agree to pay the small shipping fee. You give them your Credit Card information for the shipping, this is when you are SCREWED!

About 2 weeks later you will start getting charges on your credit card for $87.13 and then every few weeks more charges. And in most cases your credit card company will NOT help you at all! You will need to cancel that card # and get a NEW card number because they will keep charging your card and may even PASS your card information along to their other "sister" companies.

Other products they are marketing with same terms are Colonzen, Sleep Once Again, Rez-V Max, Lipaphen-RX, Acai Berry Cleanse, Life Cleanse. They say the "14 day TRIAL" starts when you place your order, AND WITH THE SLOW SHIPPING your time to complain is usually gone quick, and they will charge your Credit card $87.13! I would recommend you NOT give them any personal information!

They may also have other Web sites offering some type of Acaiberry or Cleans product as seen on TV or endorsed by celebrities or "Talk Show Hosts, Opra.W. I tried their products, and they did NOT work for me in any way shape or form. I even had negative side effects. I have called them numerous time and they offer no help to resolve anything. They tell you to call back in 3 days over and over again until you either give up or they have the # of days in the terms and agreements run up. Most of the operators cannot speak English well, and they will not give out company information. I am wondering if the company is based in the USA? A company called Try Purity 12 is based outside the USA.

Please Learn From My Mistake! They billed my credit card without approval

This is from a weight loss ad I linked from this site, although neither here nor there. It boasts credibility from fox news (that should have been my first clue) and Oprah. "Acai x3" offers a free trial, you only pay shipping and handling ($2.95). But when I couldn't find the conditions/terms that I had to agree to, I Closed the box. At that time, I had an IM customer service specialist offer me a dicounted shipping and handling price ($0.99).

I proceeded to ask questions as to the products additional ingredients, or if it was 100%, organic, etc. I recieved generic messages back until the CSR gave me an e-mail address to inquire to. When I tried to e-mail I immediately recieved a mailor demon that the address was invalid. When I was able to get ahold of IM support again, I recieved the same generic messages (ver batum). When I told them that the address was invalid, they stopped responding.

I received an email offering a free trial of Vital Acai tablets, all i had to pay was $19.95. I ordered this, they arrived 20/03/09 and the contents were disintegrated tablets, powder everywhere out of the pills.

Wrote 21/3/09 explaining prob and could they sent me a new pack, free of postage and handling or find another solution. No reply.
26/03/09 they send email saying that since i have not sent back my unused portion they are glad i am enjoying product and have now charged my visa $79.95!
27/3/09 i again email about damaged product and ask them not to debit my visa and reply to my complaint.
No reply.I send numerous emails.
14/04/09 They again debit my account $79.95 and send me more Vital Acai! I send more emails asking them to stop. No reply. 25/04/09 they again debit my account $99.90 this time and are sending me more. 29/04/09 I had to cancel my visa to stop anymore money being debited.

29/04/09 i get an email from Jenn Dailey saying they will stop after this delivery! I tell her to check her records for emails i sent but again no reply. On top of this this money is being converted to CY even though the email had $79.95 not 79.95CY so i am paying over $100 each time and the last pack went up to 99.90 which i wasnt informed would happen.

I ordered a free trial of this product, i was to be charged shipping and I was, this should have been the end but my acct was charged 59.95 and I have not recieved anything else. They cancelled my acct, but will not refund 59.95 back.

Last 1st week of March, I received a package from Acai Advanced thru USPS.Immediately, I returned said package the following day at our post office. Last March 31, 2009, said company charged me$64.95. Then on 04/10/2009, said company sent another package without my consent and charged me this time $ 74.90. I returned said package immediadely the following date thru USPS. I called said company this morning when I learned from my card company that I'm being charged $139.85 from said deliveries. I told the customer service rep and later the supervisor that since I returned all the items immediadely, they should return my money. But I was amazed what the supervisor told me and that was they cannot reimburse or return my money for the simple reason that its already more than 30 days.

But, what is stated on their ads was that if you are not satisfied with the product, just returned the unused portion and they guaranteed your money back. The only thing they can do is send back the products with appropriate payment of $10.00 for S&H.This is rididiculous. I can't believe that they will insist the product even if you don't need or want them. This is another SCAM. Hence, this letter. Please help me to recover my hard earned money.

I too ordered Acai Berry $3.95 trial but was later charged $79.90. Called for return #, returned merchandise w/number as req.on all correspondence & outside envelope. I called to confirm receipt & to ck on refund, was informed I was 2 days late and did not qualify for a refund but a $120. credit voucher for merchandise!

I ordered a "free" bottle of acai berry powder capsules and "powerflush 500 all-natural cleansing solution." The only cost was a nominal shipping fee to be charged to my credit card. (As I recall, the fee was around $3.00)

I received the capsules about one week after ordering them, and read a small paper that came with the product stating that "on the 15th day (after the date I placed the order) my credit card will automatically be charged $89.31 for a 31-day supply and every month, thereafter, unless I cancel by calling 877-350-8480 M-F, 8am-8pm MST; no hassle, call anytime!"

I called right away to cancel because the pills did absolutely nothing for me. An automated voice came on saying, "All of our representatives are busy helping other customers; please stay on the line and your call will be answered in the order in which it was received." This message was continuously repeated over the course of one hour before I gave up.

Then I called my credit card company and told them what happened. They looked up my account and I had already been billed for the $89.31. Then they looked up Natra Pure's number, which was entirely different than the number I had, spoke to them, and had the $89.31 charge removed from my credit card bill.

The piece of paper that came with the capsules further stated, "I understand that this consumer transaction involves a negative option and that I may be liable for payment of future goods and services, under the terms of this agreement, if I fail to notify the supplier not to supply the goods and services described. We do not except (sic) returns that have been shipped."

Because the above info was not disclosed when I ordered the products, and because the phone number provided was not manned by human beings who might be able to help, I was obviously scammed. For those of you who have also been scammed by this company, my credit card company provided me the phone number they used to actually talk to a live human to cancel the deal. It's 866/951-1393.

I have had happen to me the same thing as all the above complaints. I am in the process now of trying to get my credit card cleared. First,I cancelled my credit card, got a new one etc. Can't understand these people on the phone. They are from another country. We need to stop these scams. The only consilation that I have gained from this is knowing that I'm not the only person that got took by this.

Syeda of Skokie IL (04/16/09)
They lured with free trial ad and i only had to pay $5.00 for shipping and handling however i was charged $79.75 after 15 days. They said there was a fine print somewhere on their ad page that said i will be chared if i do not cancell within 15 days of order! not only that, they said had i not cancelled now i would be getting recurring charges on my card.

Caused me a lot of headache dealing with my credit card and acai customer service. this is fraud! stay away.

Reggie of Montrose IA (04/14/09)
Ordered a free sample and tried to cancel order. recieved a message that i couldnt cancel it. Emailed the company canceling. Was charged $257 in fraudulent charges on my credit card. Some affiliated commpanies I had never heard of. It cost me $200 in over draft and returned transfer fees. I have all the information documented and a record of it

I am out of work and barely able to feed myself then to have these companies stealing under tha vail of the law and even when I contacted them several times they continued to do it. It even cost me money to send a package back certified mail and a note that I had canceled my order when I first applied for the free sample

Kelly of Mesa AZ (04/14/09)
This herbal supplement was offered as a free trial plus $2.95 for shipping. The deal was that if I didn't cancel after 30 days, the company would automatically charge my account $80.00 every month followed with another bottle of Acaix. Sounded fair, but all scams do I'm sure, I'm such a dumb ass. Within a week of ordering I received the product with no paper work inside, therefore, I was unable to cancel and there was no way of contacting them.

The company dishonestly charged my account the $2.95 along with the $80.00 even though it was advertised as a free trial offer. All I have is the return address. I haven't returned the product yet because I want to see what my credit card dispute advisor says first. I've yet to hear from them but I'm sure I will. My credit card company told me they've been receiving tons of complains regarding the same product.

I've yet to get my money back. Hopefully I will soon.

Becky of Corning AR (04/14/09)
enrolled in free trial. got charged for some self help 30 dollars a moth. then recieved acaipure and it was charged to my credit card. also they will not credit my account. the charge was 44.90 a month. how can somebody charge that to your account but you cannot block the charge?

Alan of Amarillo TX (04/14/09)
This product was advertized along with Bromalite for a free trial but was billed $87.13 on 4/2/09.

the products do not work as advertized and I am out the money.

Lenell of New York NY (04/10/09)
I was watching the news when I heard about the Ultra Acai Berry deitary supplement was false advertiesment. They took money ouf of my accout. Did not feel well after taking some of the pills.

Nicole of Saint Paul MN (04/08/09)
On January 25th, 2009, I signed up for trial with the Acaiberry supplement. I understood that upon receipt of the pills I would have 15 days to try the product and that I would need to cancel if I did not want to continue receiving the product. On February 7th I went on the website to cancel using the chat live service at. I was not sure if that worked so I called on Monday the 9th of February to cancel my contract . On that phone call, I believed that I had canceled my subscription to this product and that my business with this company was complete. I was told that I did not need to send the trial back to the company. I threw the bottle away.

On March 28, 2009 I received another bottle of the supplements in the mail with a charge for $94.57. I checked my bank account and noticed two charges on my account from this company. See attached document. One was for $94.57 and the other was for $88.62. I went out of the country from March 30th 2009 until April 6th 2009. On April 7th, I called the company again to once again cancel my account. I spoke with a customer service representative for over an hour discussing my frustration with the company. I put the second bottle of Acaiberry in the mail on April 7th 2009 to the Return department at Miami, FL 33126 with the understanding that my account has been finally cancelled and that I will be refunded the $88.62 for the product. This is subtracting the $5.95 for shipping.

I am still unclear on why I have a second charge for $88.62. I was told because I had tried to cancel using the chat live feature that I would receive 50% off of the trial bottle fee. On April 7th, I reported my problems with this company to my bank and was advised to write this letter as well as calling to confirm a third time that my account was canceled. I made that third call on April 8 2009 and was told that my account had been canceled. I want to be refunded the full $88.62. I have taken the necessary steps according to the terms and conditions and have been taken advantage of by company.

I have been charged $183.19. They say they will be refunding me $132.93. I believe they should refund me the entire amount since I did follow their terms and agreements. If you google acaiberry and the address you will see complaints on many chat boards regarding the chat live feature.

Acai offered a free sample; just pay for shipping. 30 days later they send another bottle of supplements for $64.95 plus shipping of $9.95 for a total $74.90 I called and said I never ordered this 2nd bottle I just got it and want to sent it back. I was told they would stop the order but I had to keep the 2nd bottle for $74.90 This is a SCAM to trick people into the 2nd bottle they do not know they are buying.

Acai Advanced C/O GLF cheated me out of $74.90 and how many others I can only guess.

Suzy of Bethesda MD (04/07/09)
ordered free trial of natural acai berry for S&H fees only. did not realize I was signed up for monthly shipments until noticed $69.95 on Mastercard statement from March. Was told by credit card company that a second charge $69.95 was put through on April 5th. No prior notice of subsequent shipments or charges sent to me. I refuted charges to credit card company.

I called toll free number to make sure cancel any future shipments on April 7th. told product already shipped and could not cancel. Asked to return unopened/sealed bottle - denied - even though Terms and Conditions lists a return addressed if authorized. There should be ample time to cancel April 5th charge. I will not pay these charges. This is very subtle terms and they know that as the advertisement lure is free trial without proper notice that they will ship monthly bottles.

Please stop these scam artists and make them properly advertise what they are selling. How can I make sure I do not have to pay these charges and return goods. They claim no preservatives so cannot return but I have not even received this last shipment. 2 charges @ $69.95 each

Well I also ordered a trial formt his other company and they seem to go under these different names but are all the same company. This is sucha scam but anyway it turned out to be Acai also and when I received the trial there wasn't even a number on the websight or the package to call and cancel the product.

So now I'm in fear that they will charge my account at the wrong time again and cause me overdraft fees on money that I have intended for something else and I can't really afford this right now and I have no way of calling these people there are so many different numbers. Also I place this through the websight and it was acting up and it stated that my card wouldn't be charged and come to find out they charged it twice so I have about 5 charges on my account from Acai and Acai Burn. Please Help.

I went on line to print some coloring pages for my daughter and the axai berry advertisment came up. I clicked on it and read all about it, saw Oprah had approved along with dr. Oz so of course that reassures a person who might be a little sceptical of scams. At first I was charged the 4.95 and felt comfortalbe with that and was reassured it was not a scam, waited a couple of weeks and no pills. I then called the company and was told they take 2 to 3 wks not 3 to 5 days as I was told before.

I went on line with my bank today and I was now charged 139.97 with insufficient funds. the bank reversed the the ins funds and told me to call the company. that was a waste of time. the company told me I sgned on a subscription contract, if I want to end it they will only credit me 30.00. I explained I didn't see those conditions and live paycheck to paycheck. I never would have spent that kind of money being a single mother of 3.

I will be unable to either grecery shop or pay a bill.

I ordered a trial sample,5.95 shipping, I immediatly cancelled, after receipt of the first shipment and trying the product, it didnt work, I received another shipment and my credit card was charged 88.00: I called to confirm cancellation and was given a cancellation number: I just received another shipment (3 total)

The product does not work, they continue to ship and charge even though they confirm cancellation. 180.00thus far

Like many others, I ordered the trial of PURE ACAI BERRY for 4.99 shipping. I called to cancel and the man I could hardly understand offered it for 23.50. I accepted and used the bottle. I ended up liking it because it had 1,200mg of pure acai berry and nothing else. When I got my first auto-ship bottle it had the same label as my trial bottle but the contents was totally different. It contained very little acai and a lot of caffeine. I called immediately to complain. The man, which again I could barely understand, would not allow me to return the bottle. I argued with him that it was not the contents of the bottle had different ingredients than the first bottle and that therefore they had misrepresented themselves by sending me a different product that I didn't want.

We went round and round. Not only was his accent too hard for me to understand, he talked really fast, would not listen and there was so much background noise I ended up with a huge headache trying to hear him. It was very stressful. I hung up and immediately called my credit card company to file a dispute. The lady I talked to suggested we change our credit card number for the very reason that most of the other people are testifying to. The lady at our credit card company said the are receiving mass complaints about all of these companies that are offering trials(especially Advanced Wellness Research). She said even though people are canceling their Auto-shipments, the companies are still charging their accounts. She said the only way to prevent this is to cancel my account number and get another one issued. She said this will NOT hurt my credit rating. Even if it does, that is better than all of the dishonest charges they are putting on our cards.

For me the damage was smaller than most. I canceled my card number promptly before they have time to unfairly charge me again. It was 23.50. It cost a lot in stress and time. It is very difficult trying to reason with someone who's English is so bad that, even after asking them to repeat themselves several times, I was still not sure what they said. Plus getting them to stop talking long enough to say something or get them to repeat what they just said, was so very taxing. They background noise made it even more stressful and impossible.

A website popped up to take an IQ test. I went on to take it. In the middle of it an add popped up for a FREE trial of a product. So I went for it. Actually I was caught up in it because I wanted to finish the IQ test which was bogus anyway. So add me to the STUPID list.(NOTHING IS FREE) They immediately charged me a $12.85 shipping fee. Within the next month there were 6 charges made to my account totaling $475.73 I didn't realize this until I found that my credit card was overdrawn, causing me other problems. It took some doing but I did get in touch with THESE companies.

That's when I learned that it was actually a few different companys(or so they say)One company said that if I mail the product back they would refund me.(no problem, I didn't use it anyway) but they would not refund the other. Another company refunded one charge but said that they would not refund the other. The last company said that they would not refund anything. I then contacted my credit card company. they were able to go right to the web site and told me that all the way at the bottom, not easily seen it said that I would have to cancel the subscription within 14 days. I didn't even know it was a subscription. So my credit card company would not be able to do anything.

So the bottom line is, I'm out a few hundred dollars. I've just been laid off of work!! I guess there's nothing I can do but vent, and maybe warn someone else. This caused a lot of stress (blood pressure up) Especially when they overdrew my credit card. And cost me at least $253.43 - $336.61.

I just tried the website that ordered my "free" trial from, evidently it is a warehouse that covers many, many things....didn't get anywhere there either!

Kelly of Monroe City MO (03/25/09)
I ordered Acai Advanced trial (60 capsules, 30 day supply) free online 3/1/09, just paid $5.95 shipping & handling. I had taken it for 6 days, didn't see any change, so decided to contact the company and cancel any further shipments; which, I never realized from the website that I was joining anything!

At the bottom of the shipping statement that came with my free order, it reads Thank you for ordering Acai Advance. If you're not completely satisfied simply call 1-888-between 8:30am & 5:00pm Pacific time to request an RMA and send the product back according to instructions. Customer is responsible for return shipping fees....

I tried 5 times today to call the above number, got a recording saying all representatives were busy, once I held on for 15 minutes. another recording came on and gave a website--tried that, evidently doesn't exist. I think the phone number & website are bogus. My next problem, I paid for my free trial with my Missouri Unemployment Mastercard (I thought, what the heck, it's only $5.95, worth a shot). I already have another charge to it for $24.95 for an additional shipment. How can I get this to stop, it's not like I can cancel my card, and getting through to the Missouri Unemployment Center is almost as easy as catching up with these bogus diet pill-pushers!

I am presently laid-off from my job, and don't receive much in compensation from unemployment while I am seeking other employment. I can't afford for some company to have access to my debit card, and for me to have no control over what they charge to me.

James of Santa Rosa CA (03/25/09)
I answered an ad for a free sample wanting credit card number for shipping only. According to Jay somewhere in the ad they disclosed ongoing charges $85.91/mo and additional charges for LifeSyleFit.com $29.95/mo and CostSmashCO00 for $2.95/mo. I never saw any of that info. CC billing is listed as Reno, NV: shipping is from Torrence CA: LifeStyleFit is UT,

The credit card billing I receive in mid-march has the February charge and the march shipment has already been sent. They do me the curtesy of removing the March shipment bill but not the February shipment. If they cancel as they say they will they have still taken $118.81 from me they will not refund. As I told the person on the phone, If I was doing business like they are I would consider myself a crook. I am sure what these people are doing is boarderline legal but I consider it trickery.

Nisha of Bolingbrook IL (03/23/09)
I ordered the trial sample and paid $4.99 for S&H. Within ten days I was charged the full price of $78.81. I called to dispute and was told there was nothing that could be done. I hadn't even had 14 days to try the product before being charged full price. This is so frustrating and absolutely ridiculous.

Kathi of Alexandria VA (03/20/09)
On Jan 27, 2009, I ordered a 30-day free trial of Pure Acai Berry from Advanced Wellness Research online for $4.99 shipping. In about 2 weeks, I received the product. During this time, I was diagnosed with Lupus which explained my extreme fatigue. It says on their bottle to check with your physician before taking the product. More time went by while I had med tests and got back in to Rheumatologist. I was told not to try the product because I needed to start some Lupus specific meds. Last week, I received a 2nd bottle of the Pure Acai Berry in the mail. I just got my credit card statement and they have charged me $78.81 on Feb 12 and $83.80 on Feb 27 under 2 different company names but the same phone number.

Today, 3/20/09, I called the phone # and spoke with and Indian gentleman, Ashley. He said that there was a 14-day trial and I had to notify them within 14 days of ordering the product - which gives you no time to actually try the product. I explained my situation and he agreed that if I returned the 2nd bottle, he would refund the $83.80 and gave me an RMA number. However, he refused to give me any credit on the original, unopened bottle which I also offered to return. Finally, after much badgering on my part, he agreed to give me a $50 credit on the first bottle.

I repeatedly asked to speak with his supervisor who, I was told, was in a meeting. I then asked to speak with a manager who, I was told, was also in the meeting. Ashley suggested that I call back in 2 hours. I refused, knowing that I would get a different c/s rep who would tell me the same. I told Ashley that I would hold until someone at the next level was available to talk to me. Finally, he told me that his Floor Manager was back. Now I was speaking with P. Callander Floor Manager. He gave the same story and said that I should have read the Terms and Conditions before ordering. (By the way, I went back to the website after getting off of the phone and the Terms and Conditions is a link at the very bottom of the page along with Contact Us, etc. I don't think anyone would have checked down there for Terms and Conditions of the sale.)

I then requested the name of the President of Advanced Wellness and a Corporate address so I could mail a letter of complaint. I was told that they are not allowed to give out that information for security purposes. In the end, I received 2 RMA nos. for the 2 bottles that I have to pay to mail back to Illinois; I have to wait for two credits $83.80 and $50.00; and watch that no other charges are put through. Unlike others, I didn't get charged any International Fees.

Also, my trial bottle doesn't mention Caffeine. The 2nd bottle has a different label with a lot more information re the ingredients. Turns out that it has a lot more than just Acai Berry (Juice Powder) as indicated on my trial bottle. I have NO faith that I will receive these credits. I'm concerned that they will continue to charge my credit card. If I close the account, then they can't give a credit even if they say they will. This entire phone ordeal took 50 minutes.

I have no idea what the financial damage will be when and if this ends. It's a good thing I didn't take the original pills. I can't take caffeine due to long history and continuing battle with migraines.

I am very doubtful that this will be posted. Natures Best Acai Berry 30 day supply free just pay for shipping is a scam. It says there is a free 30 day supply but then they charge you $79 fourteen days from the date that you placed the order. Although I called and cancelled my order within that 30 day trial period, their defense to the charge is that it is stated in the terms at the very bottom of the page. They charge you 14 days from date of order not receipt then isnt it possible for them to hold your shipment until day 12 and then send it to you.

When speaking to customer service today about the $79 charge, she stated that the HIDDEN FEES were located in the term agreement. Once I called her out on saying HIDDEN FEES she had no other comment. I will be more than happy to be a part of a class action lawsuit against this company.

I ordered a sample of Acai Berries for $4.99 to give to a friend. It came and then I found on my next bank statement there were charges for the sample and for an additional $78.81 I didn't order. I called and a man told me it would be cancelled. It wasn't and I called back and was told I could only get $60 back. I don't feel this should have happened and they only waited two weeks from the time it was ordered to the time they charged me the $78.81.

I am a 73 yo retired woman who was trying to help a friend who saw this stuff advertised on Ophra...shame! I live on SS and I don't have $78.81 or even $18.81 to throw away!

I ordered their free trial $4.99 Acai Berry, the trial is for 14 days, within the 14 days, I called to cancel this shipment only to find out that they had charged me $78.81. I called again, they had no record of me calling to cancel the order. I found out later that they charged my account another $83.80. So I called they tried to offer me a deal, they would refund $40.00 on each transaction, I refused demanding to speak with a supervisor. Of course, they were busy. I stated I would turn their business over to the better business and low and behold they told me they would refund all transactions that were withdrawn from my account. I did receive confirmation numbers for both transactions.

Funds withdrawn from my account that I was not aware of or not expecting.

I order the Acai Berry and Bromalite free trial and cancel both products within the trial period. Only to find the my bank account was charge $79.95 for the Acai Berry and $69.95 for the Bromalite not to mention I never did recieved the Acai Berry. Ooooh it gets beeetter, when I call the company they had no record of me calling to cancel and that I didn't received the product nor was the cancellation # on file they said the # didn't match theirs, I also had another charge on my banking account for a style fit membership of $29.95, something I knew nothing about. I went through hell tring to get my account credited back. Finally they claim that they will credit my account back, so I just have to wait and see. For the Bromalite I got stuck paiding for it. This is totally a scam.

I ordered a product on line called Acai Berry Supplement and wasn't aware of the print that said I had a certain amount of time to call in and cancel the order or I would be charge $80.00 for the bottle. The money was taken right out of my bank account and the company said that I agreed to the terms at the time of the order and they would not refund my money. They said that they sent me a conformation to my e-mail which I never opened because of viruses and there was no paper work sent with the product.

I will never deal with this company again, that is making so much money and could not see fit to refund just one persons money who wasn't aware of the terms. They said a free trail bottle and no money just shipping would be charged to my account. There is a BIG difference between $5 & $80 dollars.

$80.00 dollars that was taken out of my account that I don't have now to pay my bills. The $5.00 shipping I had but, not $80.

The company Natures Best has fraudulent charges ($85.91 X 2)to my bank account after offering me a free trail @$4.99. I plan to report this and spread the word about this service. There was no agreement disclosed to me. Otherwise I would not have placed the order. You may want to investigate their practices. They are using a service through orderwave.com & 4icc.com. Finally after several calls to the phone number on this invoice (holding time at least 10 minutes and cut off once after requesting a reimbursement) The call had so much static I could hardly hear the person. After my being very adamant about these charges they did agree to credit my bank account. I did receive an email to confirm but we will see.

I placed an order on January 23, 2009 for a free trial of the Pure Acai Berry Pro. The advertisement said you only have to pay for shipping and handling, which was a total of $4.99. After receiving the product, I found out that it would cost $78.81 to get a monthly supply of the product. Immediately, I contacted the company to cancel the order. One of their representatives, also, called my home to attempt to sell me some other acai products, but I told him I was not interested. I told him I had contacted the company to cancel any future orders, because he said he does not handle that end. He, also, said that the only way I would be charged was if I contacted the company myself to place an order for future shipments.

I did not place another order, but when I received my bank statement yesterday, I noticed that they had deducted $78.81 from my account without my knowledge. Now I am unable to contact anyone via phone or e-mail. All communications seems to have ceased. They will not answer their phones or respond to e-mails! I wish I had been more cautious.

Aside from the fact that the company has dwindled money from me that I did not agree to, their products do not work like they said! These people are a bunch of crooks!

Geraldine of Winchester CA (03/02/09)
I ordered the Acaiberry product from a promotional special on the internet that said trial only pay for shipping so I gave them my credit card number and information. The product gave me hives so I didn't call to re-order but they charged my credit card twice for a full price of $88.62 +5.95 shipping. I returned the second bottle that they sent without me ordering, but now they want to charge another 30% re-stocking fee on top of what I had to pay to ship the product back to them for credit. In total, I was charged $184.24 and I had to pay $8.00 on top of that for UPS to make sure they receive the product back. I feel this is fraudulent because I did not order another bottle and I did not authorize the company to charge my credit card. I called to cancel and stated that the product gave me hives but they did not want to refund the charges on my credit card.

These charges on my card affected me finacially and the side effects of the drug they were promoting as an energy enhancing drug gave me hives but they did not care what the effects of the drug were on me as a consumer all they cared about was that they got the money which they unknowingly charged on my credit card. I feel that the terms and conditions they set on their internet are misleading and the charges are fraudulent.

Order a trail offer for $4.99 and I am now being billed for &78.00. Received the trail offer but did not order anything else nor have I received anything else. Should have only been billed for $4.95 and $4.99.

On-line offer for Trial supplement for shipping and handling only $5.95. Ordered Trial 1/27/09 and received. My credit card was charged $5.95 and then on 2/4 was charged $88.62. I had never received any more product than the Trial. On 2/16, another charge for $94.57 appears on my credit card. I received another bottle of the supplement, but never opened the package and sent back to the company, return to sender, cancel, refuse. When I called the company to cancel and get charges removed, I was told they can only remove one charge at a time and that I will have to call back to re-cancel!

I have involved my credit card company and am refusing the charges except for the $5.95 that I understand I agreed to. I am concerned for other consumers and believe this is a SCAM, because not only did the Trial generate charges to my account for this supplement, I saw charges from 3 other companies: IP Daily Web Vitamins 1/23 for $89.31, MPCAI SuperF 1/21 for $5.95, and CRH Price Savers 2/3 for $8.51. In fact, IP Daily Web Vitamins informed me I had now a membership to control my weight. My hope is that you will investigate and stop this before others are hurt. Thank you.

I seen on-line how to receive a FREE trial sample of AcaiBerry so I filled out the information and just paid shipping. Then, it took me to another website to receive a FREE trial sample of Colotrim. I filled out my shipping info and paid just the shipping charges as well. Then I received the AcaiBerry and had a packing slip stating that I would be charged $78 if I didn't call to cancel within 15 days from the date ordered. I called and canceled my order. I later received the Colotrim which was not just a sample but a whole bottle and there was no packing slip or any invoice (nothing) in the package.

I looked online to find a contact # and I asked to cancel this product and asked for a fefund they said I was over my 15 day trial period. I was very upset b/c I did not even have a chance to try to the product and if I would have known that I would have been charged $80 for the it I NEVER would have filled out the offer for the FREE trial sample. I was told it stated it on their website under their terms and conditions and so they would not refund the money. I told them I did not see anywhere that stated I would be chaged. They told me that they could not have charged me for the shipping if I didn't agree to the terms. I know I never read or clicked any terms.

I just now went back to check their website out and see that when you fill out your information they automatically check the terms and condition box for you! That is why I never read the terms and never see that I would be charged $80 after 15 of ordering....it took 14 days to get to me! I demand this website be taken down and that they refund my money! It is not right that they automatically check their terms and condition box!

I was charged $80 unknowningly and wrongfully!

I ordered a free trial bottle of acai ultra burn caplets. I was to receive information in the order on how to contact them for cancelllation. I never received any information either by mail or e-mail just a package with a bottle in it. I assumed I would be receiving a letter later on how to cancel, I never did. Now they have charged my card for 59.95 even though I returned the product for a free refund. They are now saying that it said in the terms and conditions that I would pay but they did not keep their end of the bargain and send me information to cancel. I need my money back can you help me?

They charged my credit card without knowledge of me knowing and I am out 59.95 with no product also.

I seen it online- connected with the Ophra Winfrey show. I did it because it stated only 4.99 for the sample of the Acai Berry, loose weight in just two weeks. The ad never stated anything about future shipment, it never stated that I needed to cancel anything in two weeks. The product was delivered within a few days invoice ttl 0.00 because I had paid with my debit card. I have it dated in my check book January 20. Pkg contain 60 capsules. January 30 I tried to get $5.00 from my account, no money, they had put a hold on my account for 79.00, I know I had at least $20.00.

When I called thier office they stated that if I didn't want any future products I needed to cancel any future orders within 14 days. I said cancel any future orders because I did not subscribe to this ad. I fill out the form for the free example of 4.99. When I spoke with their office they said the $79.00 had already been process. I did not receive any more products from them, so they charge me 4.99 + 79.00 for my free sample, 4.99 was suppose to cover shipping and handling. It was false advertisement. When I cancelled they gave me this number RMA 221 2380 SB

Acai Berry Maxx was advertised thru a website as free with a shipping/handling fee. There was no indication that cancellation needed to take place within 30 days in order to terminate the relationship. As a result I have received two mailings of the product and been billed twice on my credit card that was originally provided to them for the S & H. I returned the product with a letter indicating my request to terminate the mailing/billing.

There is NO WAY to communicate with this company... phone numbers put the caller on hold, no in-going e-mail availability, no mailing address for customer service. I have my credit card company intervening at this time. Until this is resolved, I have excessive charges on my credit card.

I ordered Acai Berry tablets as a trial offer and paid $4.95 shipping and handling. I did not read the T&Cs at the end of the web site. When I received my Capital One bill I saw a charge for $78.81. Then I received a second bottle. When I called the company, they offered to refund $50 of the second bottle and said I could keep it. What a rip off. I'm going to cancel my credit card. Other websites say they are selling your credit card information to other venues. This needs to stop. Thank you.

I was charged over $140 dollars but only refunded $50. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a "Free Trial Offer" of Nature's Acai Berry for the cost of $4.99, shipping and handling only. The order was placed on 2/5/09, charged to my account on 2/6/09, shipped out to me on 2/9/09 and arrived 2/12/09. My complaint is with the so-called "Free trial period" which starts the day you place the order. How can you try the product for the 14 day period when you haven't received the product yet? I believe this is fraud. The trial period needs to start when I receive the product , or five days after the product ships the free trial period begins.

I have been charged $79.96 for a product that I have only used for 12 days. In the Terms of Offer, it states that the product ships out 24 hours after order has been placed. My order did not ship til 4 days after my order was placed. These companies need to change their policies and need to quit defrauding consumers. The Terms also need to be in larger print on the order page and not at the bottom in small print where nobody sees or reads it.

I had saw an ad about this company to try their product free for 30 days and thought I would give it a try. I paid Shipping and Handling on the Acai Berry Supllement, as well as the cleanse and paid 3.99 for each shipping charge. 14 days later, not only did I not receive my product, but I was also charged 87.13 for the product. When I called, I was informed that I had 3 days from the date of the order to cancel or I would be charged on the 11th day, but also that it could take 14-28 days to receive my free shipment.

Essencially, they have it set up that you do not get your free shipment, and then they start charging you. But it gets better, I cancelled and recieved my $87.13 charge back once, and had to call to cancel again as they charged me again, and everytime they do, I receive another charge for a foreign transaction fee of $2.50. I just got off the phone with them again, as not only am I still missing a credit of 87.50, they actually billed me again, and to date, I have not received one shipment of this product.

So to date, I have been charged $348.50 for product I have not received, $20.00 in foreign transaction fees that have never been reimbursed as well as 7.98 for shipping fee's. Someone needs to start a class action suit to stop these people. I am Tenacious enough to keep calling and demanding and showing them how they have lied. I particularly enjoy how the 3rd charge they changed the business name it was charged to on my bank statement, yet when I call the number off my bank statement they tell me it is not their company I am calling about. Sounds like a way that people get money stolen to me and a scam.

I was on a web site . Seen I been hearing so mush about acia berry to lose weight i thought i will try it out. When recieve this bottle in the mail two weeks later. When in reality it stated one day delivery. As I read this bottle when I recieve it to my surprise there was 200mg of caffeine in it.. So when i email them about a natural supplment that was made from from berry,s from brazil has caffeine in it when this was natural product.

When i spoke to one of there operators they could not give me a proditive answer to my question at all about a natural supplement that is not really natural. This was a free trail but my statement is that they are putting false information out there that shall be look in to.

William of York Springs PA (02/22/09)
I was told that it would be a free (one month) trial size for the price of postage. I did recieve the sample and noticed the $1.95 charge on my credit card statement. the next months statment had two additional charges for a total of $159.00. I never ordered these items and I never recieved the products that I was charged with.

To this point, I have the charge on my credit card in the amount of $159.00.

I purchased a trial offer of nature's acai of $4.99. It was delivered to me on 2/14/09. The terms of the offer state that if you're not satisfied w/the product you must cancel with 14 days of delivery. On the 14th day you will be enrolled in a program and they will charge you card a $79.96 for the program. Well it has not been 14 days, and my card has been charged $79.96. I called to complain and cancel, and demand my money back but they said the won't reimburse me for a month!

Karen of Mount Holly NJ (02/19/09)
free trial is offered for 14 days. however they start counting the 14 days from the day you place your order. i never received my product but on the 14th day they tried to charge my bank account 80.00. my daughter got her product 9 days after she ordered but on the 14th day her bank was charged 80,00 and more product was sent out.

this is false advertising. how can this be a free trial when you don't get 14 days to try it. it's a money grab, and i'm sure most consumers have no idea that they're gonna be out 80.00 not the 5.00 for shipping. i called and cancelled as did my daughter, however she's out the money. please alert people to be careful.

Mary of Midland TX (02/18/09)
On 1/17/09 I ordered the FREE TRIAL of acai berry. I was supposed to get it within 24 hours according to their info. I did not get a confirmation email so I suspected the internet order did not go thru. However on 2/7/09, I received my order(22 days after the order was placed). I tried calling the company once but the wait time was too long.I tried the product for 12 days and decided to return it and called today to do so, hoping they would honor the 14 days of free trial. They won't.

In the mean time my VISA bill arrived with $3.95 for shipping on 1/18 and also exactly 14 days later on 2/2/09 a charge for $87.13. I wanted this refunded and I would send back the product. I explained when I received the product that it was already past the 14 days, but received no satisfaction. This is a scam to me. There is no way to have a free trial with their dishonest system. Now they tell me I also will have to pay another $40.00 but I could not get what this was for. I cancelled any future orders.

This has already cost me $3.95 + $87.13 =$91.08 and the $40.00 on the next bill if I don't find someone to help.

C of Tucson AZ (02/16/09)
I work for a bank and everyday i speak with customers who fell for the 4.99-3.95 etc for shipping which has now lead to 80.00-90.00 chrgs that consumers were not aware of. This company is a fluke and everyone should avoid any services with this company. i see hundreds daily who are shocked and unsure on how to go about it. when they try to cancel with the acaiberry company and they are very rude to customers and are not willing to refund amnts that our consumers didnt receive services for. Better business bureau needs to be informed of this and something needs to be done.

Tina of Sedro-Woolley WA (02/15/09)
This company does not list the price of the product past the introductory free trial. The consumer has to input a name and address which brings you to the 30-day trial with the price of the ongoing purchase. I input my name and address to obtain the actual committment price past the trial and found that you must make a committment to purchase. I then backed out of the website as I couldn't afford the price of the ongoing product.

The result was that this company got my cell phone number as I do not have a home phone and called me approximately 10 times within less than a 12-hour period one day..2/13/09 and started again on 2/14/09. I even told the representative that I was not at least 18 years of age and they still kept calling. This is an expense to my cell phone. My husband left a message for them not to call on 2/13/09, and the next day the calling resumed on 2/14/09.

Rex of Fremont CA (02/13/09)
Ordered their products 'Natures Best Acai Berry' pills and 'Bromalite' pills as part of a promotional item. The pills were free with the customer only paying for the S&H charges. But the website had hidden charges of $79.96 + another $29.99, and $2.99 charges on top of that MONTHLY for the Acai Berry and another $69.96 plus $29.99 and $2.99 for the Bromolite. I've researched this online and have found there to be extensive similar complaints.

Carol of Ordway CO (02/11/09)

Negative option scam, ordered sambazon acai smoothie packs paid with credit card. They charged 29.95 on credit card after the purchase had already been paid.

I ordered a free trial of Acaipure with shipping of $4.99.
I then received 3 shippments and was billed $44.90 in my cc.
I returned the pills with notes to not send any more and to cancell the order and credit my account.

The co didn't respond or credit my account.

I saw their ads online about their product Acaipure for weight loss. They offered free trial and only pay shipping and handling for $4.95. I use my credit card paid $4.95 to try their free offer on Dec.18, 08. But when I received my Feb. credit card bill, I found out I have been charged $39.95 from ACAIPURE onJan. 21, 09. So I called ACAIPURE, the lady named Heaven told me that I passed free trial. But when I took the free offer, they did not mentioned that it has time limit period.

I felt that they cheating on the customers. The lady told me she can only give $15.00 refund back to my credit card account. I told Heaven to cancel all related charges might happen in future and stop all the future shippment. Another thing is they give my information to their partner company called Fit-Fac.com, I also have been charged from Fit-Fac $29.95, when I called them the gentleman named Shane told me FIT-FAC will credit $29.95 back to my credit card account, and he will cancel the membership which I never agree for me.

From this cheating So called free offer I lost $24.95.

On 12-10-2008, I ordered a rial of Lipaphen Acai Berry for shipping fee of $3.95, of which was charged to my bank card. I never received the product and noticed that on 1-2-2009, my card was charged $87.13. I tried calling the number listed on the bank statement and it just clicked and disconnected. I researched and found the number to be on the original charge info. After my initial call to cancel and get a refund I received a $40.00 refund on my card on 1-8-2008.

When calling to request the rest of my money, they always say that they are escalating to the billing dept. I still have not received it. I call today and they say that they do not show they took anymore than $40.00 from my account and requested that I email the info. I copied and emailed the info, but they cannot tell me when to expect my money. The internet is FULL of complaints about this company doing the same thing to many other consumers, so I ask, Why are they still in business? What does it take to stop fraud? I want my $51.08 returned to me and if I have to hire an attorney, I will ask for compensation for my time and frustration.

By their taking the money out of my account without authorization, several of my payments bounced and it cost me overdraw charges and my stress level has affected my health.

Theresa of New Port Richey FL (02/05/09)
I cancelled a subscripton for Acai Berry and Cleanse within the proper time frame and received two confirmation #'s. Both were done on the same day. I noticed a fee on my checking acct for 87.13 and 2.61 for a foreign fee. I called and they said they would send an email to their refund dept. I asked how long this would take and they said they couldn't answer that and there was no one I could speak with. This is their procedure.

I told them this is overdrawing my acct. All I received was an I'm sorry this is our procedure. I've read of prior complaints online. I'm afraid this will happen again by what I've read. Please check into this company. It certainly seems like a scam to me. Thank you

Kevin of Woodbridge VA (02/05/09)
Order free trail. They have continue to bill credit card. Contacted them via 800 telephone number on credit card statement. They indicated they could not credit my card back. I am not getting the merchandise nor do I want the merchandise. This company needs to be looked at and shut down.

I am paying a $93/month for something I do not want and they are refusing to cancel

Ann of Fairplay CO (02/05/09)
I bought a promotional offer of Acai pills for $3.95 plus shipping. They were fine but I didn't want anymore. I wasn't aware that in a month I would receive another bottle but this time it would cost $88! When I saw the debit to my bank account I looked at the packing on the newly arrived bottle and there was an 800 number. After being on hold for 30 mins I spoke to a foreign person who could not locate my account. I told her I wanted to cancel my account but she claimed to not see my information.

I then went to google and entered FWM Labs and found many many complaints about them, one of those complaints listed an email address. I was able to get a response from these people who chastised me for not knowing the contract. I responded that I returned the unopened second bottle - certified mail, and that I expected a full refund.

I am waiting to see if I get the refund, if not, I will have to cancel my debit card and change all the accounts that access that card - just to prevent FWM Labs from taking another $88! This kind of transaction is misleading and fraudulent, I am not alone in this experience.

Rosemary of Garden City NY (02/04/09)
Even though this is advertise as a free-sample, with O charges on the bill, they charged me for a club that I didn't realize I was signing up for but would not take back the supposedly free sample, which they proceede to charge for also. When I called Ashley (ID#229)to get a credit on my charge, she gave me a refund # and a cancellation #, but failed to advise that another charge had been issued to my credit card.

Now Raven and her supervisor, Alicia tell me the credit was for the second charge of $79.95 which I was not aware of when I spoke to Ashley. They also gave my credit card to Fit-fac.com, who then charged me $19.95 for some sort of online newsletter. I did not authorize this charge and was told by fit-fac that they sent an e-mail which authorized it if I did not answer the e-mail in the negative. WELL, I simply delete e-mails that I do not recognize, so I never saw this newsletter or their statement that I would be charged.

Aciaslim still owes me $79.95 for the supposed free first month's supply.

Laura of Mankato MN (02/04/09)
After ready all the complaints I wish I would have checked this out more. What a rip off. After receiving an introductory offer for acai I too have been charged with a $29.95 charge for Fit Factory. I have no clue what that is but was inrolled in the company. I did not give authorization for that and did not see it in the fine print nor did the company give any indication of that when I called customer service to cancel any further shipments of acai. This is a scam. I am having to change accounts just to avoid any further charges. This just goes to show that businesses on the internet should not be trusted.

Financially in has amounted to the $29.95, $60, and another amount for $49. I have to change accounts and take off time from work.

Adela of Tucson AZ (02/04/09)
In bold letters they offer 2 weeks free, money back guarantee. I was able to get my money back. They clearly do not disclose that they give your confidental credit card information to two(2) other companies. They are Insider Secrets to Weight Loss & Weight Loss E-book Package. You are automatically enrolled into these two program without your knowledge. I ordered these capsules on-line, and the terms and conditions were not seen until after I purchased, & printed the confirmation receipt. The terms & conditions are smaller words and difficult to read.

The two companies charge 9.95 & 4.95 on your card monthly. The charges in the fine print are not numeric, so they don't stand out. They are spelled out. It wasn't until I got my bank statement that I realize what was happening. It wasn't until I mention reporting them to some Consumer Agency that they credit my bank acct. This practice of not telling the consumer that their private confidential information is being passed over to other companies without their knowledge, is not right!

I spent over one hour on the phone, with these people and they kept saying that there was no supervisor or manager there for me to talk to about them crediting my bank acct. These companies prey on consumers in hopes that they don't notice the charges. This happened today Feb.3, 2009.

John of Chicago IL (02/04/09)
Responded to trial offer for free 30 day supply of herbal supplement called acaiberrymaxx. just pay $5.95 for(S+H) Which I did on 11/9/08 at website address. However,on 11/25/08 I was debited $79.95 for the sample product. On 12/29/08 I was debited $85.90 for another product shipment. I was put on monthly auto shipment and debited twice before I could cancel future shipments. I have been trying to have my funds returned.

The advertisement is deceptive, because it offers a free trial of product if you pay for shipping and handling. They never mention autoshipment or future billing for the product in the trial offer advertisement! I'm out of $165.85 for a product I don't want and had no idea it would cost me so much. Plus,I have high blood pressure and according to the product's user cautions, I can't take it due to medical side effects.

Renate of Houston TX (02/03/09)
This product was advertised as a free trial offer on the web site acaiburn and shown on the Oprah Winfrey show. After yuo recieve the shipment your account is charged $59.95, this is not made clear enough at the time of purchase. No one ever reads the fine print because there are pages of them. I realize that I can't get my money back since I did not return the product at my expense via a trackable method and insured as I was told to do.

I just want to make others aware that if you think this is truly a free sample you are very much mistaken. These companies prey on folks like me that are just trying to lose a few pounds. i would have thought that someone like Oprah would have taken the time to research this before touting the benefits to a nationwide audience. I am out $59.95

Tina of Calgary AB (02/03/09)
I ordered the Acai Noni burner for the 14 day trial. I paid extra for expidited shipping, but still got it on the 14th day of the trial. (I live in canada, so I presume the customs was to blame there, as the postal stamp read the correct date)I was charged for the product, as expected on the 15th day (And as is spelled out on the agreemet you fill out- PEOPLE READ WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING!)I called the company to let them know I'd received it on the 14th day, and they offered my my $ back, within 3-5 buisness days) another month to trial it, and a reduced charge of $39.95 per month after that. They were very nice.

They did have some up-selling people call me back the day I ordered it, but you can decline them, which I did. I also reccommend you immediately cancel the fitness thing they offer, when you print off your information. There is a 1-800 # on there, to avoid a $29.95 charge to them as well. Bottom line is you need to READ what you are agreeing to and print out any pertinent information and keep it for the day you want to question or cancel.

12-31-08 went on line to order the free trail of the Acia Berry Detox. After entering my info and account number hit submit and got my confirmation and it also state that if you do not wish to continue this product you have to call within ten days to cancel or your account will be billed for $87.13. So I immediately called and cancelled that same day because I knew I wasn't going to continue it and I wasn't paying know 87.13,,, I spoke to a Leah that day and she cancel it and gave me my confirmation number.

1-15-09 I went to check my account and notice that my account was less than what I thought,,,so I was just scanning to see what I subtract incorrectly and seen where this company had the 87.13 pending for drafting,,,so I immediately call the company to straighten this out. 5:11pm I called an spoke with Leah I guess a different person and I explained to her what was going on and she pulled my account an stated that she see where I cancelled but unfornately she couldn't do anything and that I had to email the refund dept. I went off and told her that I didn't email the refund dept when they took my money out an I wasn't emailing anybody,, that wasn't my responsibility,,, I ask to speak to the manager with good english because I couldn't understand her. I had to keep asking her to repeat herself.

So she put me on hold at 5:27pm and I was left on hold until 6:40pm when a LJ picked up the line and asked could she help me. Leah never came back to the phone to let me know whether a manager was going to help me out. At this point I was really ****** because now I have to explain myself to another person that didn't speak good english. LJ emailed the refund dept and gave me a confirmation number. I explained to her that I have other obligations out there and if anything clear through that they will be responsible for other charges that may occur with my account.

1-16-09 checked my account and the money that was pending was completely gone and my account was right back to where it was. 1-21-09 check my account again it was less and I see where this company had drafted 87.13 and 2.61 for bank charges out of my account at this point I'm scared because they are messing in my account,,,so I called again and spoke to Michelle at about 8:30 pm and she looked up my account an seen where I cancelled and she emailed the refund dept and gave me the same confirmation that LJ gave me back on 1-15-09.I ask her how would the confirmation be the same if she emailed and she didn't really have a answer for me,, but she told me to check my account today and my email for confirmation for the refund. Check both and nothing.

Really this has put me under a lot of stress,,, but I want my money back into my account and I'm really trying to prevent the damages from happening. I don't have any extra money and it is preventing me for buying my child some food to eat and putting gas in my car to get to work. Wrote a check for my daughter's car payment and with them taking that money is shorting my account of $56.00 for her car payment to clear. I need the money back in my account before that check clear through.

i ordered the $4.95cents only. i received another shipment. i was charged $88.97cents. i returned it un opened and called my charge card co. and sent in the complant form and emailed it back. and they sent another shipment this month. i sent it back and was charged another $88.97 cents. refund of including finance and shipment $213.84. it didnt help me at all. i couldnt even tell i took anything.

it didnt help i dont know if it hurt me physicaly. but it has sertenly caused me a lot of time and trouble trying to cancel. and the trips to the post office.

I requested for a 4.95 trail diet pill order from this company and on 12/4 and the kept charging my card for 79.95 on 12/22 and another 79.95 on 1/06/09 without my permission and after noticing other charges on my card, my bank Wachovia stated the sold my info to another fit company on line called fit factory. I called the fit company and the credited my card back the next day, but Acaiaslim stated they would refund a one time refund and this was a month ago now and their no refund posted yet.

I called these people on several occasions and they are fradulant. A gentleman answers the phone in Canada (mountain time). After holding for 30 minutes and talking to this guy for 20 miinutes demanding to speak to the owner or supervisor a female, I havn't heard from them and no refund had been applied to my account. If I knew about this Company I would of never given my card # for a trail via line.

Bank Account problems with my account and selling my charge without permission and no resolution yet, except my bank is investigating my complaint and they will give me a provisional credit after filing a fraud charge with this Company and gettong a new card because they sold my card to this fit Co. Thank You

Ironically, this is being advertised on your site! It is in all the Google advertising. Anyways, SFL Nutrition LLC is what is on the bottle for the Colon XR. The advertisement is for a free trial, you pay shipping. THERE IS NO SMALL PRINT. I was looking for it because I didn't want to join a subscription where they charge me every month. After you buy the trial, they CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD without your authorization anywhere from $69.99 to $79.99 as an ongoing subscription to their vitamins. They DO send the bottle of vitamins/product. BUT there is NO indication that they will be doing this!

I have only received one bottle of the two charged and also was charged a foreign tranaction fee of about $2.50 for each charge (not the trial). I got ripped off for almost $150! I ordered the free trials (I knew better!) and then the charges showed up. Of course, I'm OUT the money because I can't reach these people AND since I cancelled my card (so they can't charge it again), now how in the world would they even be able to give me a refund? There are a number (probably hundreds) of sites that all say a similar message. They reference Dr Oz and Rachael Ray. They all show the same stomach photo but different first names, from different cities, etc. TOTAL SCAM!

Lost about $150 and I can't be the only one-though I did receive 1 out of the 2 products, I never authorized to purchase the full size and it was not indicated on the website. Cannot contact them. Unfortunately, now that I've cancelled my card there is no way for them to issue a refund (and I'm NOT giving them any more card numbers!) I figure I'm just stuck. I will return the one bottle and hope for a money order for the returned product...but probably unlikely!

I ordered a free trial of Acai Berry and the number provided is no longer in service. In December I have received there product in the mail and was charged $69.95 as per the terms of agreement if I did not cancel, which I tried to do.

As of January 25, it will be one month and they will automatically send a shipment and I will again be charge.

The bank said they could not cancel the order or block the charges from coming through.

I ordered the 14day and paid for it and a week later they billed me $84.00 for another that i did not order and never received. called them 3 times and all they or telling me is that they would give me back my money and that was from december '08 and now its january 17th 2009 and still no money. they also said that emails would be sent .....None was found in the inbox or even my junk mail.

I ordered a samole for shipping only & they charged my debit card for 92.58

that was not authorized.the company is acai-noni acaislimmingdiet.com & after 3 called and 60 minutes on the phone they would not put a manger on the phone & said the charge is not refundable & I have not received any product for that said amount, this is un ethical business tactics.

I called and cancelled my membership with this company over a month ago. They have now charged my credit card again. I called all numbers they gave me and even send an email to cancel.

I ordered the "trial" offer for the Acaiberry 600 product with the understanding I would try the product on them just paying for shipping and handling charges. The real deal and contract is the company will bill you for the supply sent if you do not cancel within the 15-day trial period and return the trial bottle within that same 15-day period to the company. The 15 days begin the day the order is placed. I attempted to call the customer service number on 1/7/09 at least 5 seperate occasions being placed on hold for at least 10 minutes on each try. I also attempted to use the support address listed on the website which didn't work. I had to research for the support e-mail of the co. You must contact them to cancel.

I received a response from support on 1/8/09, with the reminder of returning the bottle within 15-day trial. I notified them that due to the difficulties with the co. yesterday, I would send the bottle out today. I also requested no further CC charges should occur and that I had notified the CC of the unfair and improper business practices of LIFENUTRA.

I Ordered a trial sample I only had to pay shipping of the Acai berry as seen on Oprah Show it took 3 weeks before it arrived with 12 pills the next week I get another bottle with 60 pills I thought maybe it was part of the trial and 3 weeks later I get another bottle with 60 pills I said something is definatly wrong I got my statement from my checking account and see that I have $80.31 deducted from my account plus $1.79 from the IP-MYBODYHYSIQUE

I called on Fri 1/2/09 and they are closed, I called on Sat 1/3/09 and the recording says to call Mon-Fri 9-6 I call Monday and the recording says due to the hi volume of call they have extended the hours to 9 pm and on Sat till noon. After waiting 10 minutes I speak to Jen from customer service and I explain things to her and tell her I want to return everything for a refund and she says that I can't do that according to their web page and its rules. but I can cancell and no more will be sent to me..There was no info in any of the envelopes that this product was shipped to me and I believe this is no way to conduct a business..I hope you can help me. Also on Oprah web page today she states that she in no way endorses this product...Thank you

Thank you for all of your warnings not to buy this book. I had a similar experience after purchasing a free trial of 30 days by paying shipping/handling charges for Extreme Acai Berry. I suggest to everyone that you close your checking account number. This was the best option.

After closing just the account number & changing it, they could no longer charge me along with other companies I had never heard of. I still had my joint account w/ my husband but just the number changed.

I was completely scammed and feel like an idoit for allowing it to happen. I ordered a 3.95 dietary supplement from this company and was the next month charge 89.31 for another bottle I didn't order nor want. When I called no. on bottle, I was told that I didn't read the fine print on ad. Apparently, I agreed to buying this stuff every month.

Not only that, I was charged for pricelimbo 8.51, fit-factory 19.95. I got at the same time a sample of DRI*AcalaSlim, and was charged 84.95, after talking to these people, the said they would refund my money 84.95 as did fit-factory the 19.95. I am wait to see that. I don't know what the small print at the bottom of extreme acaiberry (product ordered) said, because when I go to the ad on line now the ad has changed.

I have canceled my credit card and am trying to get the charges reversed with my card company. I just don't want some other unsuspecting person to go through this thinking they are getting a lagit product. Credit card charged a total of 202.72 in charges and now a days that is a whole lot of money

Ordered their products for the initial payments of $3.95, cancelled in 14 days, and was still charged the fees one of $90.02 I have not received a refund even though I was promised it almost six weeks ago. This is terribly frustrating and it almost makes a person not want to order anything over the internet again, especially anything offering a small fee of $3.95, $4.95 etc...I am still waiting for my refund and was told today that I should receive it this week. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE. I have not used it, because I am so disgusted with their services.

I ordered a free sample online of acai berry diet supplement for s&h of $4.95.This was a pop-up ad on the internet naming the Oprah show and other prominent places where this product has been praised for it,s efficacy as an appetite suppressor. I received the product but 2 weeks later, I receive a 2nd shipment that was sent that I didnot order and was billed $69.95 for this bottle on my credit card. I called the 800 no. listed on the product and after being on hold for over 30 min., spoke to a heavily accented rep. He explained that I had 14 days to cancel ongoing shipments and did not do so in time.

After much discussion stating there was no such clause on the 1st free order, the agent told me to deal with my creditcard co. to remove the charges. Imailed the product back to this co. which cost $5.00 to do so to get a confirmation and tracking slip to ensure it was returned, I am now waiting to see if my bank can recover this charge as it was automatically debited on my account.

The name of this company is:Chestnut Overseas, 1285 Baring Blvd., Sparks Nevada,89434.The website is www.natural acai berry.com. So buyer beware of free offerings and do not fall prey to these scams.

will never order free sample products again and only hope my bank can reverse the charges.

I requested a free trial of a vitamin online and used my credit card to pay for the shipping charges. a couple of weeks later i received my credit card bill only to find that three charges totaling $188.74 were made to my account without my knowledge or authorization. The company listed above charged me $79.95. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. At that time they advised me that this company had not only charged my account this month, but that they would be charging me the same amount monthly.

Upon the advice of my credit card company, i canceled my credit card because it had become compromised. The following day i called the above named company and i was directed to make my complaint by email. I explained my request via email, for a refund and cancel any future charges and they promised (by email) that they would indeed honor my requests. I sincerely hope that this is the last i will be having to deal with this company.

At this point it is merely time and aggravation for me and a lot of phone calls, emails and of course complaint reports to organizations like yours. I hope that the people who responded to me from this company are truthful about refunding this charge and refraining from charging me again in the future.

Around the 10th November I requested a free sample of AcaiBerry vitamin supplement through a website, paying the required $5.95 with my bank debit card. I did not see any terms attached to this product. The bottle arrived around the 14th November with no instructions and no correspondence included in the package. On the 26th November, $88.62 plus $2.66 was deducted from my bank account. I had not authorized this so I contacted my bank and sat up a dispute for this charge. I tried to call 877 number plus the 866 number on the bottle many times but was unable to contact company. On several occasions one of these telephone numbers had been disconnected. Up to this point I had not received any merchandise or had any contact from company.

The 16th December, [they] deducted $94.57 plus $2.84 again from my bank account. Later on that day I received a package containing a bottle of AcaiBerry that I promptly sent back the following day to SFL Nutrition LLC , Boca Raton FL 33432 that was listed on the label. I sent it with Delivery Confirmation. Total packages received, one free sample and the one that I returned. I then took contact with my bank and cancelled the card that I had used to prevent [their] making any more fraudulent deductions (but [they] still are able to deposit the money [they] owe me)

On the 18th December, I finally managed to get through to someone in company and told them the situation. They gave me a confirmation number that cancelled the account that I did not know I had. I demand [they] reimburse my account with the full sum of $188.69 or write a check for that amount and send it to me immediately. If not, I will contact Consumer Affairs, Division of Consumer Services and Florida Attorney General.

I recieved the following reply this morning. Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize but I could not seem to locate your record. Please Provide your order Id number to further assist you on your order Thank You! Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Edryll D.

This is my reply.... Strangely enough, the woman that I managed to get a hold of on the phone after countless tries, could pull up my name and account number with no bother at all.. Think you had better try a bit harder. the confirmation number she gave me is #----. Also you must have a record of my Visa card as I have on the amounts withdrawn from my bank account. If you are not capable of doing this, get someone who can. I will contact the Consumer Departments and also Attorney General and also my lawyer if you continue in this manner.

They say that you only pay shipping. My account was charged 89.31 and they say that if you dont cancel within 14 days your account will be charged that amount every month. The thing is there is no sight to go to cancel from these bandits and no return address on the package. I did not see any trail offer notes on the advertisement.

Cancelled the account today, I am out the the $89.00 they took from my account.

I ordered AcaiberryMaxx on Nov. 16. It did not arrive until Dec. the charge was to be 5.95. total. According to information listed on their website, one can cancel within 10 days. I telephoneed to cancel my ordered and the recording said to cancel your order send an e-mail to cancel. I sent an e-mail stating I was canceling this and all future orders, and would not pay for any shipping charges. I did this, and then in Dec. I received an e-mail stating my order was on its way. Once again, I e-mailed to cancel, and cut and pasted first letter.

In Dec. I received two packages. I had no idea of what the 2nd package was, and did not open it. Then on my Visa Card I saw two charges, one for $45.55. I tried to telephone, but learned that there was a 50 min. wait, I went onto the internet to try and find a different telephone number for them, and read all the scams that this company has perpetrated.

I have closed this acct. and spoken with the dispute dept. several times, they advised they must wait 30 days to hear from the merchants bank. I am hoping that Visa does not demand that I pay this.

I went on line to order a free trail of AcaiPure dietary supplement for $4.95. I looked at my bank account to find out that the company charged me $44.95 and the invoice stated to cancel you have 30 days, well my shipment arrived after 30 days, i called the company and spoke to someone didn't get name and i was told that i would be refused somewhere in the amount of $6.95, then couple days later i looked at my bank account on line and there was a charge for $39.95

so i called that company which the recording said if you were calling for fit factory they gave the #, Anyway i got a hold of that company and spoke to a representive and he wanted to walk me thru the terms and condition of the Acpur, i was rude myself told him i didn't authorized them to charge my account and i demanded a refund. I told him that the other company is a fraud, misleading, and just charge people for items for there convience. He said he would refund the full amount and gave me a reference #. Well i got my refund.

Then after xmas i looked at my bank account again and i noticed another charge from CCNNUTRA for $39.95, wait time was for 45 minutes and 20 seconds, in which i held on a representive called himself Pete M. and said unfortunate cannot refund your money this charged is for the balance of the stupid pills i received, he told me he would refund only $20.00 and if i would returned unopened bottles, i asked him that i wanted to speak to a supervisor he said they were all in a meeting and they would tell me the same thing, then i said well go ahead and refund the $20.00, he told me to have a nice day, and i told him to hang on i wanted a reference # he hung up on me.

I had to cancel my debit card and have the bank reissue me one. My bank CHASE said this was going on alot, be careful and don't be fooled

I ordered off of the internet. Acai Berry diet pills, they were suppose to charge me 4.95 for shipping and handling on there free offer instead they charged my account 44.95.

They have taken money out of my checking account that I need to pay my bills. 40.00 too much.

I just recieved a free trial offer. I am supposed to call the number on the bottle to cancel if I do not wish to recieve anymore. The number is either busy or says you are not connected. Money will be deducted from my checking account if I can not cancel the order.

I never orderd the product i recieved which was acai berry! when i tried to contact the company it was a recording telling me to go to a suicide help website! i want my money returned to me and never charged again for something i didn't order!

Money is being deducted from my credit care and im being charged monthly for an item i don't want nor ordered and im paying interest on this with my credit card i want it stopped and my money returned!

I ordered the pills and paid the shipping then a couple of weeks later they charged my credit card $88.97 I said I do not want it. It does not work and the man said that I had 14 days to cancel otherwise I would be charged the $88.97 for the cleanse. I relayed to the person on the phone that I did not like the product, I did not want the pills they charged me for, and I thought there business ethics were appauling. I told him I was going to submit a complaint to the BBB and that I wanted to be refunded for the pills they charged me.

I was told that I would have to email their company a request to receive a refund authorization form and that it would take 24 hours to get back to me. I submitted the request on Aug. 15, 2008 and to date (8/21/2008) I still have NOT received the form. I did receive an email on 8/13/08 to inform me that my membership with them had been cancelled. However, I finished reading the complaints on line and many folks are still being charged the $88.97 after being told that the membership has been cancelled. I feel that this compamy is dishonest and false advertising. They don't even put on the bottles what the ingredients are in their pills.

I am a widow on a fixed income, and I am being charged $88.97. To some it would appear that this is not a lot of money. However for me, it is an option of putting gas in my tank or buying groceries.

NEW FORM OF FRAUD - ACAI BERRY - FREE SAMPLES. My mother always taught me to try to learn from someone else's mistakes and stop reinventing the wheel. We are all being deluged with emails about the Acai berry and these free samples - just pay postage. Okay, one dummy, step up to plate. Naive and trusting, I ordered my one week free sample for $3.99 hoping to see a wonderful difference in my life and go on to a lifetime supply of this fountain of youth and health.

I took the week's supply...felt no different...and said "oh well...I've done worse things with $3.99."I know you're waiting for the other show to hit the ground and duck...here it comes! I get a package in the mail with a bottle of 60 pills. I go on line and look at my credit card and they have charged my card an additional $74.99! First I called the c/c company and am disputing the charge but I know I will lose. I contacted Performance Products USA at and was refered to their webpage buried among millions with a click on accept terms which has a negative marketing plan and they will continue to hit my card for $74.99 until I opt out of the program.

They also refuse to take it back "unopened" and could care less about anything I try to do. Because of their terms, no matter how well they hid them on their website and how unethical opt out programs are, the credit company will deny my dispute. So, do your friends and associates and family members a HUGE favor...copy and send them this information so they do not fall into the same trap I did...let them learn their lessons the cheap and easy way...my lesson was far too expensive. I have an extra $75 charge on my credit card that I cannot afford and do not want the product!

I received an email offering a risk free trial of the Exteme Acai Berry. I paid the shipping & handling charge of $3.95. The product was received within 10 days. On August 11th I received a shipment of the Extreme Acia Berry containing 60 tablets. Apparently by accepting the first shipment I inadvertently subscribed to receive another shipment unless I cancelled within 14 days.

This information was conveniently left out. There is no mention of this on my receipt from the initial trial nor was there anything indicated on the home page. There was no indication of this when I received the shipment. I received a buy signal when I tried to call them on August 11th to cancel and return the product. This was extremely sneaky and DECEPTIVE! I want a refund of $89.31 that was charged without my authorization. There is no address indicated to return the product.

I received an email for Acai Berry Cleanse. There was a free 14 day trial offer for $5.99, so I sent away for it. While on day ten of taking the bills, I received a month's supply and $88.97 was billed to my credit card. I immediately tried to contact the company, but I received a recording. I di manage to speak to someone today and they told me that will take it up with the credit card company.

I have been emailing this company so I can return this item. Today, they responded saying to pay half the price excluding the shipping charge and to keep the pills. I can afford to send them this money, but I feel for the people who can't and will be taken. The print doesn't state when the 14 day cancellation period is. I assume it would have been after day 13. I have since spoken to my credit card company which has taken off the charge, but I am afraid my card will be charged again
