My father-in-law was a patient in this hell hole. I have never in my life thought the elderly would be treated like this. My father-in-law had a colostomy in 1981 and he was an expert on how the bag was attached. First of all, they did not listen or have the proper bags. Two or three times in rehab, the bag fell off and he was so embarrassed. I brought the bags that I paid for in the the facility for him. Second of all, the care he received was degrading. My husband and I went everyday to see him and we saw a lot patients sitting outside of dining room, right in front of the nursing station, crying for help and being ignored.
One woman was trying to move herself in a wheelchair and the patients were yelling because her oxygen tank was not connected to the chair. I waited and waited for someone to help her. I got up to try to help her and that's when someone came over. My father-in-law was released too early. I tried to keep him in longer and spoke to Tracey the social worker, the administrator and received no help. He could not walk on his own. He was losing weight and not getting any better but according to that hell hole he was fine.
