Gas Prices Continue To Fall |
December 20, 2004
ver the last two weeks, the combined average national price for all grades of gasoline is down more than a dime per gallon -- to $1.86. The decline is even more dramatic since October - down $.21 a gallon. Falling fuel prices might extend into the new year. Lundberg says the recent decline is part of an overall trend, a trend she expects to continue. While lower fuel prices have a lot of consumers smiling, those who remember what they paid a year ago are likely to respond, "bah, humbug!" Lundbereg says the nationwide average price of gasoline at this time last year was $1.48. Report Your Experience
