DaimlerChrysler Recalls 2.7 Million Cars

DaimlerChrysler is recalling 2.7 million cars to fix a potential problem with the floor-mounted gear shift.

Affected by the recall are the 1995-1999 Chrysler Cirrus, Dodge Stratus and Plymouth Breeze; 1996-1999 Sebring convertibles; and the 1993-1999 Chrysler 300M, Chrysler Concorde, Chrysler LHS, Dodge Intrepid and Eagle Vision cars, according to DaimlerChrysler.
