AT&T Will Pay FCC $500,000 |

"AT&T agrees to abide by the terms of the FCC's consent decree, many of which the company had already undertaken of its own volition upon discovering the billing error," the company said in a statement Wednesday. "In particular, all refunds and credits have already been issued to misbilled consumers. So that this investigation can be ended amicably and expeditiously, AT&T has agreed to a payment of $500,000 to the FCC," AT&T said. Report Your Experience
