NHTSA Investigates Saturn Sky, Pontiac Solstice BrakingProbe could eventually lead to recall |

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported receiving 40 complaints on its Web site alleging that drivers need to press down hard on the brakes to stop the vehicle after it's started. The problem has occurred in driveways or parking lots. The safety agency reported one crash that may be linked to the power assist brakes in the sports cars and has opened a preliminary inquiry to look at the braking the issue. As many as 20,000 2008 Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky vehicles with 2.0 liter turbo engines could be affected by the inquiry. Report Your Experience
