Sara Lee Bread Recalled Because Of Metal Fragments |

Sara Lee Food & Beverage has issued a voluntary and precautionary recall of selected whole wheat bread products produced at the company's Meridian, Mississippi, bakery because the products may contain small pieces of metal. The bread was shipped to stores in parts of Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Florida, Tennessee and Louisiana. The affected products carry a "best if purchased by" date between July 25, 2007 and August 7, 2007 and include the code "222." The markings can be found on the front of the bag.
