With nearly half of all marriages ending in divorce, a posh Caribbean resort is offering itself as a mediator.

The Arawak Beach Inn, on the island of Anguilla, is offering a Make or Break Escape, designed to help couples come the right conclusion about their relationships.

The four-night package includes a day trip to an uninhabited island, perfect for either heated conversations or romantic seclusion; a one-day car rental, ideal for the partner who seeks solitude for contemplation; and two intimate dinners, served either at the Arawak Beach Cafe or in-room for couples needing privacy.

Accommodations are on the ocean but vary from queen bed to two beds -- for those who need separation.

Although daily breakfasts for two are also included, guests may choose whether to sit together or separately.

Neither Anguilla nor the Arawak Beach Inn are strangers to struggling couples. Many Hollywood types -- in various stages of their relationships -- vacation there.

Oceanfront accommodations at the inn include refrigerators, baths, and cable television as well as four-poster beds. Outdoor activities range from boat excursions and sailboat rides to swimming, diving, snorkeling, and tennis.

For couples who succeed in ironing out their problems, the Arawak offers wedding and honeymoon packages perfect for vow renewals. For those who don't, there’s a Me, Myself & I escape designed for solo travelers seeking self-discovery.

Prices for the Make or Break Escape begin at $399 per person, double-occupancy. For further information, call 877-4-ARAWAK or see www.arawakbeach.com.
