I have received a call from a Mark ** who claims to be from Harrison Law Associates in San Diego. He claims that I owe Cash Advance USA $250. He said that if I do not pay this within one week, I will be taken to court for all kinds of crimes. I looked online to take out a payday loan but never took one out. Now I am getting calls from this person saying I could be fined up to $7000, lose my teaching license, and lose my job. He is also saying that authorities will show up at my work place.

In short, he is quick to take your money, yet beyond slow to perform unless pushed. Even then, it is an endless series of broken promises and commitment dates. He had an excuse for everything and an answer for nothing, terrible business.
Economic damage is that most hire an atty. to address poor treatment, not to enlist and have to pay for it. Since the deadline was getting close and I could not count on him, after 5 extended filing dates in as many mos., I went elsewhere. He insisted to keep my retainer fee. Not one document was produced, until I dropped him just to cover his bases and then it was basically a cut/paste of the original case docs. provided as prepared myself. This was worst in 25 years in business.
