WebVisible, Inc. is a complete and utter scam. Its aggressive salespeople lied about what great things they will do--what this wonderful SEO software can do for you in Internet marketing. However, the contract vaguely only promises "best efforts." What I got for $2,500 per month was ** near nothing, and my complaints were dealt with more lies and broken promises. By the time I cancelled, $5,000 had already been charged to my credit card, and they took another month's worth of fees plus an "early termination" fee. I got three leads in three months. I did not even get a reply to my termination letter. They are just the worst, stay away.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I signed on with Webvisible simply because most other dealers were. And I certainly would have been left behind if I had not. The cost was EXTRAORDINARY. 1500.00 per month plus 300.00 first month for account set up. The only reason I signed on was that I was promised 75% co-op from an ad firm. This to be for three months. The first month went as planned. My card was charged appropriately, and I received the correct amount for co-op. The second month, I received a letter from the ad company that my co-op funds were depleted and I would be reimbursed a limited amount. Not much of a difference, so I let it go.
That very day, I contacted Webvisible about my problem. Since the agreement was that I would receive 75% and I was no longer going to receive that, my contract was cancelled. Then I received my credit card bill and found that Webvisible charged my card for a third time. I though this was nothing more than an error so I called Webvisible to rectify the situation. Guess what? They are claiming that the charge was legitimate and refuse to do anything about it. Apparently, the salesman was real smoothe and I got schnookered. I found this product to be over hyped and completely ineffective. DO NOT do business with Webvisible. Claims of unbelievable web presence, delivers nothing, and what's more, staggeringly overpriced.

I was approached by WebVisible with a promise/guarantee that we would have a verifiable increase in business. I was told that WebVisible has a working relationship with Google and because of that relationship, advertising with them with their "Pay Per Click" program places us in the fifth position on Google searches and we would have a solid increase in the volume of business that we were currently handling. It took them over five months to build my campaign. In January 2011, I was charged $1200 (according to their records that was for the clicks at $20/each). This would mean that I would have received 60 clicks.
Looking at our business trends, our business has not increased. After looking at Google, our number is no longer even listed on Google. We not only lost the financial portion (that being the original $299 and the second being the $1200) but also the loss of company work time with trying to resolve the issue as well as dealing with my bank and disputing the charges because the company is completely fraudulent.

We are extremely disappointed with our advertising program with Webvisible. I have just contacted American Express about canceling our payment and we are trying to get out of our contract. I should have known as I will now be skeptical of anyone that makes you pay with credit card. After working with these people, there is no way you would hand over a check!
They do not respond to any of our requests, we have had 3 different account managers in just 4 months, they have failed to deliver our leads, they did actually gave us a credit for their mistakes, but insisted we stay with them for a year to get our credit. The great salesperson who sold us this is nowhere to be found. I just wonder how these people sleep at night ripping people off! What a complete waste!
I'm working with American Express to get our money back

These are hard sell tactics, not prepared and kept saying cool, cool after every statement he made. His partner called back a day after he did and wanted to know what was going on. He didn't even know I had already been contacted again. The tone changed after the presentation when we wouldn't buy immediately. They are very unprofessional in every way.

I was scammed into paying $800, plus a $300 setup fee for "a team" who was going to market my website. I was told that I would expect 5-7 new clients each month. In the end, the guy managing my account did nothing significant to warrant the cost. I basically paid for their lunches for the month!

As an operator of a small business, I am constantly hounded by salesmen. Usually, a simple, direct 'We are not interested in your services' concludes their sales pitch/borderline harassment. Until today that is, when I was contacted by David ** of WebVisible, Inc. who began to grow noticeably irritated with me for not wanting to purchase their software platform. He began by first insulting my intelligence insinuating that attorneys "think they are the smartest thing since sliced bread." My response questioned if he spoke to all of his potential clients that way to which he replied "I'm not even trying to sell you anything anymore" and continued to attempt to take cheap shots until I finally hung up the phone.
I had enough. Good grief! Normally I wouldn't mind receiving rudeness from inherently rude online marketing people, but I have never been insulted in such a childish and disrespectful manner. Considering WebVisible's otherwise notable attempts at professionalism. I would imagine that their sales team would have higher standards than to stoop to bullying, name calling and insults. This is another example of why internet marketing companies leave such a rancid taste in peoples' mouths.

I was completely convinced that this was a legitimate operation (never found this site when I first looked for dirt). In June of 2010, Tara ** set up an account and turned it over to Craig **. Initially they were helpful in setting things up, seemed to want to do it all the right way, not just fast. Two weeks into July, the ad campaign was turned over to them to run for a trial for 4 months. Craig called and said they couldn't track it the way they thought and would terminate the contract after the first month. I saw this as a very honest move on their part so I believed them. But instead of letting it run for 30 days, they cut it off at the end of the month (only two weeks into the campaign). Since the time I called to get the money adjusted, they have not been returning any calls or emails. The company should be renamed WebMiserable. Do not do business with them! Apparently they are crooks.

This salesperson would not accept no. He then went to our website and sent an email stating that I was rude for saying no to his sales pitch and that like others. I think I know everything when I don't. This is the biggest racket, I have ever seen. I compare this to major harasment.

I just got off the phone with two of their representatives. The salesperson that contacted me and another person that she conferenced in the call, they were both very nice and knowledgeable. But I noticed a change in tone when I said that I couldn't afford the $800 monthly budget that they recommend I set (that is besides the $399 set up fee). Anytime someone requires you to pay up with some kind of urgency (like, you have to do this today) seems shady to me. I mean if they are legit, then it shouldn't matter if they spent 20 minutes with me on the presentation, just for me to say "Let me think about it". And now reading on other people's experience, how did they not even do what they promised? It kind of scares me. Anyway, I'm glad I said that I was going to wait.

Today, I was contacted by WebVisible for the 2nd time. They did some homework and found out that my company was receiving leads from Service Magic and wanted to know if I was having the same horrible response as everyone else. They were contacting me to see me up on the first page of the search engines for my area of profession, in my area. At first the cost was going to be around $1200 per month and later it went to $900. I was stupid enough to give them my credit card for the set up fee of $350 which turned into $99.
I did not sign the contract and told them that I needed time to look into their company. Quickly, I found this blog on consumeraffairs.com and will obviously not be doing business with WebVisible.
To me these actions are a contribution to the downfall of society, basically legal theft. It's one more thing that makes me wonder why it's so great to be a business owner. Thank you so much to the people who have responded about this company. You are the people who make me believe that there are still good people in this world. Good luck out there!

1- around 25,000 monthly impressions - but according to the Activity Summary I printed out that combines April- June 28, we have received only around 3700 per month
2- monthly clicks should have been around 265-332 - but have only received an average of 3 per month
3- and Monthly Connections (which 23 were bogus over 3.5 months) should have been 71-89 - and we have only received an average of 6 per month.
Even with "ramping up" - we are nearly at the 4-month mark and Web V should have performed better.
In addition, or territory and specific zip codes are in Maryland - and all 24 "connections" (either calls or emails) were from California, Pennsylvania, Virginia - and were well out of our territory in Maryland as stated by our zip codes that I sent back in April to Steve and the set-up crew. I verified the emails on WhitePages.com and MelissaData.com and they revealed the out-of-state IP addresses and locations of land lines and cell phones. We have maybe - only 1 "real" connection out of all that - TBA.

Webvisible told me that they could direct people to my website and I would experience a lot of calls. I received none. I had to call my credit card company to stop any further payments. The sales manager would not call, as I was told that he would. I would steer clear of this company. Most of their sales people are on cell phones and they call from different states. They are a less than credible company and they do not deliver what they promise.

We were given a sales pitch, saying Yellow Pages was going downhill and was "so yesterday". This was an award winning company and wonderful. Our business would take off. Wrong, we had one call in three months. At least we took calls from Yellow Pages; this company did nothing but take our money.

I almost spent $2500 on advertising my website to a company who I now believe is not worth investing a penny in. I am so glad I found consumeraffairs.com and was able to learn more about Webvisible.

I wish I had read these reviews on WebVisible before getting involved in them. I also agree that this company does not deliver what it promises. We were contacted by a salesman, Don, in October or November 2009. He seemed like a very good guy. He had very good communication skills and was very personable. He told our marketing manager that they could get us to the top of internet search results in our area and we would get flooded with calls from new customers.
One feature of WebVisible is that they record all calls coming in off the web searches. They do this by providing an 800 number for your business, which is shown in the search results, and that 800 number then transfers to your business. These calls are recorded. We have listened to the recorded calls that have come into our office since our "campaign" started.
We have had probably five calls from actual public. Probably 2 or 3 of them hung up after about a minute on the phone, and one was legit but I referred him to a small company for his small project. The other calls, maybe 10 of them, were all from other marketing companies! So we have essentially paid WebVisible so that we can get courted by other marketing companies to pay even more money for a service we still aren't receiving. We signed up for a four-month contract, which is $530 a month, and a $125 set up fee. By the end of this we will have spent $2245 and we have made no money off this whatsoever. We are a small contracting business struggling to find work and keep it coming. I'm upset that our hard-earned money has gone to a company that has not provided us any service in exchange. I will be disputing it with our bank to see if charges can be reversed.

After being contacted by phone by WebVisable who said they would help me to be more visable on the internet and help me get more customers. The sales person Ian ** told me that when someone was looking to do the type of work that my company provided, 85% of people now look for contractors, etc., on the internet, and that he would have my company show up on the top of the first page and would do that for $1,000.00 per month for 3 months.
When I seemed not to be going for it, he said I would not be charged for the second month until I had received a minimum of 50 phone calls from new customers and would guarantee at least 50 phone calls per month, And asked if I thought I could handle that much, I said it would not be a problem. He then said that they would have to set up a new website for me and that would be more professional than my website and the cost would be $500.00. I told him that I would do it.
The next day, December 9, 2009, my credit card was charged $1,559.00 and was told that the system would be up and running in a week or so. I was assigned a manager, Eric **, who contacted me and said that my account was up and running. The next day, I went on the internet to check it out, but my company did not show up as it was supposed to. I tried several other times with the same result.
On December 29, I got one call from someone outside of the area that I worked in and that was the only call I ever received. I called Eric ** early in January and told him that my company was not showing up on searches. He said he would try and said it showed up. I again tried while on the phone with him and again my company did not show up as promised. He said I should try again at different times which I did over the next week but nothing.
So I contacted my credit card company to stop any attempt to charge my account until I contacted them if I got the 50 phone calls as promised. On January 12, Eric ** called to see why the charge did not go through, and I told him what my agreement with Ian ** was. And he said it was for clicks, not phone calls. I said, "No, my agreement was 50 phone calls." He said he would get back to me but never did. I am now working with my credit card company to get my money back.

I repeatedly asked the 'Account Manager' what was the reason for the high priced keywords and all she could tell me was that I was not spending enough on the service. The company does not seem to care about providing value for their customers but instead just charging their credit cards.
When I explained all this to a VP-Sales, he told me that I was sold by a salesperson that no longer was with the company. He then said he would get back to me the next day to see if I could get out of my contract. I never heard back from him or anyone else at the company. I thought it was telling that he just blamed everything on the salesperson and did nothing to fix the situation.
This is a company that provides no value to my business and I would not be surprised if they went out of business sometime in 2010. Stay away from this company as they have bad business practices and deceive small businesses.

I could not agree more that this company does not do what it promises it will. I have tried to cancel the service after 60 days (which I specifically wrote into my contract that I was allowed to cancel after 60 days). My emails and calls have gone unanswered. As a small business owner, it really aggravates me that big companies like this are able to take advantage of small business owners and basically steal their money with no accountability. If I do not hear back from them today, I will pursue any means necessary to get my money back. This is not a way to grow your business; DO NOT buy into their sales pitch!

This is one of the slickest sales campaigns I've seen. They use great web advertising - offering to help small businesses take advantage of this huge company's experience and partnership with Google. I was assured over and over during the sales process that I would only pay them $30 per month for their administrative support and the bulk of my expenses would be to buy "pay per click" advertising. They made it sound so appealing. They say over and over there is no contract and that you can cancel the agreement at anytime. I agreed to start of with a budget of $630 per month. $600 to be used to drive people to our company and $30 to go to overhead at WebVisible.
After the first $975, or one month plus set up fees, I had exactly one conact with a human being interested in our services. They then deducted another $630 for the second month and at the endo of the second month, I had exactly 2 contacts with live prospects.
I told them I couldn't afford to pay $630 per month for one prospective customer and they sympathized with me and told me it takes time. I was never given a breakdown on the ad clicks I paid for, the money was just Poof, gone!
I told Kyle I wanted to exercise my option to cancel and he said that'll be anothe $349 to terminate. I said nobody ever disclosed that to me and he said it's in the website contract.
I'm not saying they are running a scam, just a less than honest approach to helping small businesses. I believe with a little research, any web user can figure out how to get decent recognition for their business without signing these ridiculous marketing agreements.
I for one will be more careful but I don't recommend this company. I spent $2,000 to get 2 names of potential buyers of my products.

I initially signed on with this company to get leads and track my website information (i.e., clicks to our website via different search engines, calls etc.). They were supposed to help my small company get recognized on the web. They promised to set the company up using Google, Ask.com, Yahoo, MSN and other top search engines. They told me when people used the "target marketing area" that I specified and the keywords for searching they would be directed to a landing page that they had created for us. They would show how beneficial it would be to contact my company and we would get a major turnaround on the money we were spending.
They sent me the first 2 monthly reports and I saw what they had reported but none of the information appeared correct. They said there were 5 people who asked for directions, there were 6 or 7 calls that were supposedly placed; however, the calls had been directed to another telephone number. They had a link for you to click and retrieve these "messages" but I could never retrieve them. They never responded to the emails that were sent complaining of what was going on. Yet they continuously charged the company credit card for their charges. They made outlandish promises and I never got one single customer through their service. They claimed to be so much better than any other lead company but they are just another scam artist trying to lock small businesses into being out of business!
