We cancelled people PC about 5 months ago today I recieved a call stating that they wanted to know why wewere not paying the bill for people pc . When I informed them that this had been canceelled they told me they were going to charge my husband's credit card for it . I called back to again tell them that this service had been cancelled and they hung up on me.

Aboout three months ago I requested via email to cancelled an old internet service account connected to my permanet home address. I do not remember my email with them but I requested that the account be terminated since I have not used it in over a year. As it turned out, they keep digging into my account for the 8.75 even after I requested the service to be terminated and provided personal information to identify the account.

I have been paying for a service that I no longer use or have access to. They were notified through coustumer service and continued to charge for three months and will probably keep on doing so. This has been stressfull and time consuming as they keep dadging and not closing the account.

I received a better offer from Verizon for the tv., internet, phone bundle. I contacted People PC via email the day the Verizon FIOs was installed, May 30, 2008. I have been in a legal industry for several years and although an oral cancellation is good I felt a written cancellation would be better protection on both sides. In October I noticed they were still making automatic withdrawals from my checking account. Finally after months and months of harassment from People PC I advised my bank to STOP authorizing People PC to take money from my account. They still have not cancelled my subscription but as they put it its being suspended until I talk to a particular representative. I doubt this person exists besides the fact I have to waste time being connected ten million different places and then put on hold forever.

With bank charges for June through December withdrawals and the monthly fee I am out over 100.00 I am currently unemployed and at the time of this incident was only working part time.
