I was going over my banking statement because I called to cancel my membership before I was billed again, when I saw that I was billed on 9-2-2008 foe 25.90 and I was also billed on 9-30-2008 for 25.90 again. now that caused me to be overdrawn at my bank. Aol said that my refund could take over a month, How can they over bill and get away with it.

when they billed me the second time it caused me to be overdrawn, also I had stopped my membership on saturday, before I got billed again, They are just down right stealing from people, now they want to give me free membership for life, what are they trying to get away with.

I had a block on my credit card aol continued to charge my account without restoring service for 4 months and refuse to give credit for payments they received.

Money I can't afford to give away. I have been avoiding making any charges to my account in order to pay it off my bill. With the state of the economy I can't afford to pay someone for service I was unable to use.

Glenda of Davenport, FL September 16, 2008

Glenda of Davenport FL (09/16/08)
I received a charge on my credit card from AOL on 9/9/08 for 51.80. I do not have a account with AOL nor will I ever get one. I called to explained to them that I don't have an account them and for them to put the 51.80 back on my card. I finally got through to a agent that proceed to agrue with me and tell me they could not give me a credit back.

I ask her do you have any information stating that I have a account with you she replied No. I then told her I'm telling you now that I didn't authorize you to charge my card for anything and that no one else has access to my card. She told me that they would send me something in the mail and it would take me 30 days to get my money back if they found it was a error. I said to her your telling me that it will take you 30 days to give me my money that I didn't authorize you to take in the first place and that I'm telling you now it's a error.

I explained to her I'm a single mother of two little girls and that 51.80 may not mean anything to them but does she know how many meals that is for me and daughters. It was awful and I still haven't recieved my money back. I wish that a lawyer would take my case and let me sue them for as much I could for this inconvience. I'm a victim and they are treating me like the accused. AOL need to be STOP!
