Ford fire in garage on Feb. 23, 2009. Both water and fire damage to kitchen, garage is a total loss. Extensive smoke damage throughout the house. Ins. co. sent a check for 42.000 for damages. Our independant adjuster (Interclaim worldwide) accesses damage @ 120,000.00. Ins. co. will not work with us and considers the claim settled.

Low estimate on Claim for hail damage to house roof repair, and has not paid the total amount estimated to do work. I had to pay additional money out of pocket, because I could not find contractors to do the work for Traveler's agent estimated amount I lost confidence in the process. And repairs were not done because they wanted money up front. Claim# U9F6519001H.

I hold the power of attorney for my aunt who is 90 yrs old. Recently during a snow and ice storm the soffet under the bay window was torn away from the house. Realizing the house is old, we asked to have it looked at by insurance company. LONG story short, claim was denied due to age rot, (who would know that) till if fell off, and at present this 90 yr old woman pays 1400 per yr to her insurance co, never had a claim, only receives 940.00 monthly from SS. They assses replacement of her house at 490,000, YES thats correct for her wood framed victorian home. SHE has NEVER IN 40 yrs put in so much as a broken nail claim!

come on really, what are these elderly paying for if they can't get some form of help WHEN it is needed! would the insurance RATHER see it go to a condemned building in the future? what are insurance people doing 490,thousand! Let's just get the soffit fixed, we aren't looking to scam the insurance but if you figure what she has a paid in all these yrs, is this going to really affect them? fix the lady's house! Talk about THIEVES!

claim denied due to age/rot. how is a 90 yr old women going to know that!

I had a car accident in January 8, 2009. The car was behind me tried to by pass then turned around and hit the corner of the driver side on my car. She tried to run then I horned a lot to stop her. She then stop and said SORRY. After that we exchanged the information.

I then reported to my car insurance and T. Carr was my claim holder. I've called her many times and left my messages, she never have called me back or responded my call. What a such person and business, only want to get the monthly pay check and don't want to get involve when we need it most. Why should I buy the car insurance for?

I am waiting for the deductible to bring my car to fix.

when I first started this policy six months ago travelers knew about the driver records and accidents because the agent called me and we talked all of the details and approx dates. that was in june6 2008 the policy amount was 1,024.00 when the next renewal came the premium went up to 1,387.00. I call and asked why and was told that it was because of the accidents during this time there were no other tickets or accidents.they said it was a pricing figure and not a point figure.

We bought a Homeowner's Insurance Policy in July, 2005, for a one-year term. We received a cancellation notice on September 4, 2008. The reason given for cancellation is our dwelling's closeness to the coast. The insurance underwriter had all pertinent information, including our address, before the policy was issued. We have never made a homeowner's claim.

A lot of wasted time. We cancelled our insurance through American Security. I don't know that we will be able to get another policy without paying significantly more, or with comparable coverage. Our mortgage company requires insurance and the premium was paid in full through our escrow account.
