Tammy of Gainesville GA (05/13/08) My son was in auto accident in my Jeep 12-14-2006. I filed a claim with Adam Bridge. He lied and said he has contacted my witness and the State Court but, Has Not. My son was found Not Guility and Liberty Mutual refuse to settle this claim or pay for 9,000.00 worth dental work my son needs. Can Insurance Agent lie and get away with It? Can I get help without getting attorney? I want to settle this claim in Good Faith. Can you help?

Lisa of Snellville GA (05/13/08) On 3/31/08 my car was stolen. I was in immediate contact with Liberty Mutual & the police. On 4/1/08 I had my first conversation with my claims adjuster Fernando. At that time he approved a rental car for 4 days even though my policy had a max of 900 per incident. On Monday 4/7/08 I called in once again to extend the rental which was granted for 1 additional week. The following Monday 4/14/08 I again called in to extend the rental & was told the claim had been turned over to the SIU department & I would have to turn the rental in or pay out of pocket & would be reimbursed IF the claim was paid.
That same day I was in contact with the SIU investigator Allen W. I was told he was waiting on the affidavit I had completed & returned to Fernando on 4/4/08. He also advised me that the following week of 4/21/08 he would be on vacation & would contact me the week after. I then called my agent Kelly to see if there was something she could do. She advised me she would see what she could do. I never heard back from her. I finally contacted her again on Friday 4/18/08 to advise her how dissatisfied I was with her & her company.
When I did not hear from Mr. W by Monday 4/28/08. I contacted him on 4/29/08 & left a message. He called me back on 4/30/08 to tell me he was on vacation. I was livid as I was told he would be on vacation the week prior. I then called back to find out who his manager was & left a message for Dexter W. I received a return call from Gary of which the call was missed. He did not leave a return number. He did leave a message to say he would contact me later that day around 3:45 as he was in between meeting traveling. I never heard back from him. I tracked his number down & left him several messages. Have yet to hear from him.
Today 5/5/08 I spoke with Allen W again to see where we were with the claim status & was advised he was still waiting on the affidavit. I then contacted Fernando manager Robin to see why Allen still had not received the affidavit that was sent back to Liberty Mutual over 30 days ago. She inturn faxed the report to Allen. We scheduled an appointment for Wednesday 5/7/08. He asked at that time for me to provide him with my last 2 months bank statments & my cell phone records. Which I provided that same day.
I believe they are stalling to not settle the claim & because I have contacted the GA Insurance commisioner. On Friday 5/9/08 I contacted Mr. W again via email to see where we were with the claim. He advised me that the car was found on Thursday 5/8/08 severely burned and he would possible need more documents. I have yet to receive a call from the Police throughout this entire matter. Several messages have been left. I also contacted the storage place where I was advised the car was & was told they did not have the car. However Allen insist it that it is there.
It has been 43 days & I am no closer to a resolution than I was the day I filed the claim. I have been more than cooperative & now I am fed up. I was asked on Monday 5/12/08 to fax a complete 12 months bank statements as well as the last 4 months credit cards statements. Which I did the same day with no hesitation. I do not have a car. I am paying for a car I do not have & am dealing with a company who doesn't know what customer service is. They are acting in bad faith & I need some help to get this matter resolved.
Emotionally I am stressed & burned out. I am borrowing a car which is not dependable.Not knowing if the car I'm driving will break down at any given moment. James of Baytown, TX February 15, 2008
James of Baytown TX (02/15/08) My husband and I were involved in an automobile accident on Sunday, 2-10-08. We were waiting stationary in our car with my husband at the wheel facing north waiting to turn left into a Dollar Tree parking lot at the 5100 block of Garth Road in Baytown, Texas. The other driver, a Liberty Mutual insured, was traveling southbound on Garth Road and pulled into the turn lane and slammed into our stationary car as we were waiting to turn left. The Liberty Mutual insured was issued 4 different tickets for 1) no Texas driver's license, 2) no current state of Texas license plates, 3) no current state of Texas inspection tags and 4) unsafe lane change. My husband and I were issued NO tickets at all. For the last week we have been without a car as our car was not drivable, and Liberty Mutual is dragging out this investigation. We have been given NO rental car by Liberty Mutual or anything. All we are wanting is for Liberty Mutual to accept liability and to fix our car that was only purchased on 1-22-08, and to provide us with a rental car while our car is being repaired. This has been an utter nightmare, and it is entirely the fault of Liberty Mutual's insured.
Liberty Mutual does not care one bit ,and their client is responsible. Also, we both were very sore right after the accident and hadthe mental anguish of realizing that we could have been killed by this maniac driver. Charles of Williamston, SC February 12, 2008
Charles of Williamston SC (02/12/08) I hit an armadillo with my brand new PT Cruiser. The car lost all its water, 3 quarts of oil left the engine, and ended up spraying under the engine of the car and the underside of the body. Liberty Mutual paid for the bodywork repairs to the car, but the body shop is not able to find where the oil left the engine. They diagnosed 3 quarts missing from the engine; they say it cooked from the engine. They are unable to say through which port or seal the oil left the engine, and Liberty Mutual is unwilling to pay for this car to be taken to Chrysler for for investigation and remedy of this. The car is still at the body shop. I cannot drive this car while I or they do not know if this will happen again. I am already 1500 out of pocket with copays/ car rental, etc. I cannot afford to be stranded at the side of the road with this car. My car is my livelihood.
I am out of pocket more than 1500 so far and have 500 more if and when I collect this car from the body shop. I am suffering great stress through this. I cannot drive this car while I cannot rely on its roadworthy-ness, and I am paying double the gas driving my miles in another, more fuel-consuming vehicle. Nick of Madison, AL December 2, 2007
Nick of Madison AL (12/02/07) My auto was damaged by a Liberty Mutual policy holder. The Liberty Mutual policy holder admitted fault and provided me with his drivers license, insurance policy, and other required information. The police would not respond because it was a minor accident and they would have had to travel over 20 miles. I immediately notified Liberty Mutual insurance company. They were initially very helpful and provided me a claim number and point of contact. I was instructed to take my car to a Libery Mutual authorized repair center for an estimate. I did as instructed. I had no other contact for several days. I attempted to find out the status by calling the designated point of contact. Liberty Mutual kept delaying and finally a month had passed with no resolution. I kept my insurance company USAA informed throughout this process. USAA has been very supportive and assisted me in resolving this matter with Libert Mutual. Liberty Mutual refused to pay the claim. USAA paid the claim less the 500.00 deductable.
