I purchased a policy from What is now conseco Long Term Health. They had the most benefits for the money. I was 64 at the time. As soon as I reached age 70 they started the rate increases. I have had 4 increases in the past 5 years. I have found where they are paying millions of dollars to their exe. for getting rate hikes through the states and another for not paying claims. Their goal is to make the company solvent enough to sell it so the shareholders will earn more money. I have all these minutes of their meetings printed off.

I have written to Kansas Ins. Dept. Sandy Praeger's office since 2003 and they say they can't do anything about the rate increases. I think it is discrimination because they passed a law in 2003 saying that they can only raise rates on people who had policies before the 2003 law was passed. and a lot of other reteric. The company asked for 25 % and they only allowed them 15% and on and on. I found the state of Iowa said, Enough is Enough, they are not getting any more increases through in the state of Iowa. Do you know anyone who can help m? I don't want to give up my policy I have had for 12 years, but I can pay the increases.

Hi! I have already put my complaint in. I was wondering how I could find it online. What would it be under. What email address. I put it in almost a week ago about Conseco Life Insurance always saying they didn't get the payment. Then trying to scam you into paying two payments at a time. When your bank is telling you they have received the first ones. Then they do an audit on you and then it starts all over again. You have to prove each month that you paid your premium. It didn't start until my mother-in-law was 83 years old. No problems before.

I don't know what to do! I am sure they probably would love for me to cancel. I am my mother-in-laws Guardian. I take care of everything. I feel when she passes away all the money she has put into this Conseco life ins. that we won't get it at the end to have enough to have a funeral. So I just want to know how to find my first complaint. What is the email address? I tryed consummeraffair.com and I can't find what I am suppose to go under. Please let me know soon. Thanks!

Alot of damage to my self esteem. I want to go there and walk into the office and scream at them.

I have had problems since last Oct. They kept saying they did not receive my check. Each month after kept saying same thing. I kept going to my bank and getting a copy and sendig it to them. They finally did a audit from Oct.-Feb. 2008. Spoke to the head of the company and we got it all straightened out. I even got a letter saying Your policy is now paid to March 10, 2008. O.K.

Today April 10, 2008 I received a letter saying I owe 311.86. I have made a payment March 1 and April 1, 2008 for 155.93 dollars. This company does not know what its doing. The last time I talked to a different person every time I got a different answer. But that was all taken care of after the audit. I am fine what they said until March 10, 2008. Why am I now getting another problem with this company saying I owe them 311.86. For what?

I sent a check on march 1 and April 1 for 155.93 each time. I should be in the clear and getting a bill at the end of the month for payment due on May 10,2008. I have the proof letter from the Premium Administration Department that I was paid up to March 10 when they did the audit before. I am very pissed that I am having trouble with this company again. They are saying they didn't get my march payment. Then they said they didn't get my Feb. of 2008 payment. That was already in the audit that got already figured out. What is there problem.

I am 84 years old. Do they want me to cancel. I don't think so. I will get a lawyer I have all the proof. They keep coming up with something to bother me about. I had no problems for a year and a half. I am on Medicaid Title 19, Medicare, Social Security. Do they want to mess with a 84 year old lady in court. I have a legal guardian that can defend me. I always pay my bill on time.

In 1988, I borrow 7800 from my Tax Sheltered Annuity to purchase my home. I began to re-pay myself in 1993. Since then I have paid in over 8000. I cannot get Conseco to give me a transaction history of the loan repayment. All I ever get is an account audit, which shows that I paid X amount of dollars on such and such a date. It never shows me what the current balance of my loan is. I have talked to service reps, I've written letters, and I have even tried to take the financial beating with regards to to taxes by trying to withdraw the surrender amount; yet I get no satisfaction. I keep paying every quarter and the surrender value keeps getting smaller.

I feel that I am being taken by Conseco as it was my money to start with and clearly they are gaining monetarily at my expense.

My parents bought long term nursing home insurance in 1991. My father became ill and was placed in a nursing home in February of this year. Medicare paid the first 100 days and Conseco was supposed to pay us 70.00 a day after that point. I have mailed them over 100 documents including bills, claim forms, doctor and nursing notes, etc. and they still have not paid the total amount due. Every time I call they tell me I need more paperwork. They still owe us over 2000.00.

My mother is 82 years old. She would have never been able to compile all the information needed to process her claim. My father passed away on 9-6-07 and not only does she have to deal with losing her husband of 60 years but also deal with the mounting bills. I am power of attorney for my parents and have been trying to collect from this company since 7-07.
