Slumber Parties, Inc.

I rate this company a very negative score but had to select one star per the website here. Rachel, from Temecula, California, represented a Slumber Party that I attended on November 12, 2011. She has 100% disappeared and ripped me off and 8 other women. I paid her $40 cash for my items and she was to charge the rest on my card. I called her December 12th and left a message explaining who I was and asked her nicely to call me back. I never heard from her. The girl that hosted the party has also tried to get into contact with Rachel from Temecula, Ca. with no luck. I attempted to call Rachel as of December 20th and her phone has been disconnected. I have written a complaint to Slumber Parties and have yet to get a phone call from them.

On August 7, 2009 I hosted a Slumber Party in which Ashley P was the representative that came to my home, presented the items, and took our orders. I ordered (1) Sensations $11.50, (1) X-Scream $18.00, and (1) Tickle His Pickle Book $16.00. My friends and family also placed orders at this time. Ashley P notified us that she did not have the products we requested with her and would have to order them and have them delivered within a week.

Several weeks went by and we still had not received our orders. It was difficult to get a hold of Ms. P by phone and she always had a new excuse as to the status of our orders and assured she would get us our products right away. After going back and forth with her for a couple weeks, she had someone else deliver some of our products to my door when I was not home, and some products shipped to my house. I distributed my friends and family their items ordered and I received one of my items. I did not receive the X-Scream and the Tickle His Pickle Book.

I paid $34.00 plus tax and shipping for these items (cash). Ms. P assured me she would get them shipped the next day and I never heard from her again. Her phone has since been disconnected and I have no way of contacting her. I filed a formal complaint with Slumber Parties Inc. on October 1, 1009 and there has been no resolve for the issue. I expect my money back for the items not received ($34), tax ($2.73), and shipping ($5). Total = $41.73
