Theft of Identity

Talk about scary. Bad guys are stealing identities and often the victims don't even find out about it until years later, when a collection agency comes after them or a mortage or car loan is refused.

Theft of identity involves using another person's identity to get loans, credit cards, telephone service and who knows what else.

There are some things you can do to protect yourself but with the Internet and database marketers gathering more and more information about us, there's only so much an individual can do.
