We have been trying to sell our house for several years and have just learned that the MLS practices keep people from knowing that we exist because of "technicalities." We live in Lake County, IL and have a McHenry County address because of post office reasons. People who look for a house in our area of Lake County simply do not find us. The MLS refuses to do anything about it.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

On December 8, 2008, I paid a $466.70 fee to MLSonline.com for a service supposed to start in January '09 through which I was going to receive home buyer leads for Williamson County in Texas. I am a Realtor and the advertising through emails was so great that I fell for it. January came and went, so did February, March and April. I kept calling and emailing to ask what is happening, but was all the time reassured that they had some glitches, and the service will start soon. In April I lost my patience and asked for an immediate refund. The answer was that they couldn't refund me the money and they advised me not to follow up on my threat of complaining at the Attorney General's office in California. I found out that a lot of other Realtors had been defrauded by Bruce Berger and his company, some for a lot more than I had paid.
